  after the empire series ended, i needed my queen back to writing what she is best at which is bully highschool/college romance.

  as a proud member of always judge kids by their parents, miss glynnie was never my favourite, however this book pleasantly surprised me.
  
  glyn was really depressed from the loss of her fake ass bestie, feeling inferior in a family full of artists, has a professor who never supports her and diminishes her work, and then to top it off killian happens. i liked how she dealt with killian, she knew what he did was wrong but didn't want to report him because we all know how powerful families protect their own, and how much women heavily rely on evidence to get justice.
  
  but really after having finished this book i remember NOTHING else about glyndon 😭😭😭 this book is the classic case of being introduced to so many characters it overwhelms your senses to the point where you are unable to distinguish who the real main characters are.
  
  no offence to both killianglyn, but am i really supposed to care about glyn crying over her dead bestie and killian detailing how he cut up mice when annika is the cutest little ballerina who just wants creigh to talk to her? or how eli is so obsessed with ava if he finds out she touched someone there will be hell to pay?
  
  SORRY YOU GOT OVERSHADOWED IN YOUR OWN BOOK BY 20 OTHER CHARACTERS THAT HAD A LINE EACH.
  
  i saw devlin (glyns supposed dead bff), being alive and evil a mile away. take this aspect of their plot away and kilglyn have nothing. take the one non-con scene away, these two have nothing. they could be any random college students. the tropes/darkness was there but i didn't FEEL any of it. so hence why my rating. they were a cute couple and they had their hot moments but overall the couple heavily relied on the side characters to make their book interesting.

  can we actually take a moment to understand what happened here because i feel like rk sweeped this under the rug and tied up the story in a pretty little bow because what the actual fuck? killian has spent his entire life thinking he is 'defective' the word that asher himself used, and then threatened his own son in front of his new girlfriend, telling her she can do better. i understand asher's trauma from his sister arianna, we saw exactly what she did in their book.
  
  but YOU asher out of all people know that your own son is different, you should've nurtured killian, gotten him help sooner, and made him feel your love and support. so what Killian has psychopathic traits? it is up to you to step up and be a father, how was it that reina was able to connect with killian and not judge him, yet you make your own son an outcast?
  
  i may forgive asher, only because killian did but i will never forget. one little sorry and a tear doesn't reverse 12 years of trauma. i blame this entirely on rk because she did the same to adrian in EOH, making adrian on the legal team of a known pedophile. adrian isn't a pedo supporter and asher wouldn't call his own flesh and blood defective, so for my own sanity, i choose to ignore these events ever happened.

  Eventually, the writing style smoothens out a little bit, but here and there RK has a pompously worded phrase ready for describing someone's death, suicide attempt or inferiority complex. Maybe because she is operating under the misapprehension that otherwise readers will be unmoved by the simple beauty of tragedy itself? Who knows. Certainly not us.
  
  It's not the first time that I've noticed that RK makes her characters assume opulently a robe of exalted passions and exceptional emotions for the sake of drama and angst. I'd be more annoyed if it weren't so unintentionally funny. That's why, having clowned her wannabe poetry from the top to the bottom, I digress.

  I'm very sceptical of authors who tell not show feel the need to remind a reader of the same damn thing every 10 pages as if we were idiots incapable of coming to our own conclusions based on character's actions.
  
  The only remotely unhinged scene that Killian performed quite well was their first meeting with Glyndon, where he gave her a choice of "blow me or die 👹👺👹👺".

  This was so underwhelming and boring and RK out there bragging it's her longest book 🤣 (sorry hun, long =/= good).
  From the first chapter we get the words psychopath and sociopath thrown around and you know the characters are going to be either extra self-aware or just... caricatures of what a psychopath is supposed to be.
  On that note, Killian kept threatening her he'd fuck her and until 49% he NEVER DOES. You start nicely with a forced BJ and then he never does good on his other threats? He only molests her a little
  Yepp, that should tell you it falls into the latter category and it ended up being a caricature 🤡

  The heroine: Glyndon King - she is British and daughter to Levi and Astrid King. Glyn grew up in a family of sociopaths and artists. Her mother is a famous artist and her brothers Brandon and Landon are both artists as well, the latter being a sociopath like their Grandfather Jonathon and Uncle Aiden King. Glyn is also an artist, though she always felt like she didn’t add up. She keeps her emotions inside and after her best friend died a few weeks ago, she has been suffering in silence.
  
  The Anti-Hero: Killian Carson - he is American and son to Asher Carson and Reina Ellis. Killian is a true Psychopath in every way. He is a fourth year med student despite only being 19 and an amateur photographer, he likes to take pictures of very dark subject matter. Glyndon has caught his eye and once he is focused on something, he doesn’t let up.
  
  The Story: Glyn and Killian meet at the edge of a cliff and suffice it to say, they do not meet as friends. Killian is a gorgeous man with a penchant for cruelty and he doesn’t hold back at their first meeting. The two of them attend rival colleges which are both located on Brighton Island off the coast of England.

  I have said it before and I will say it again, but I absolutely love books about psychopath’s and sociopath’s that fall in love. I love it when someone who doesn’t feel emotions in the traditional way finally falls for one special person. Rina Kent does it so well. She is the reigning queen of the dark romance and I just love her anti-hero’s.
  
  This book is told in multiple points of view, mainly in Glyndon’s, but there are plenty of chapters in Killian’s point of view as well. I love seeing into the mind of the anti-hero, so we can really get an idea of what they are thinking. We can see the obsession first hand. It is fun to watch as the hardened emotionless guy struggles to figure out why he is so interested in a particular female.
  
  
  
  There are so many interesting characters in this book. Luckily Rina put some family & relationship trees at the start of the book, which I found myself looking back on more than once as we met new characters. I loved the bonds between the sisters, brothers, cousins and friends. Especially given that there are so many sociopaths, psychopaths and mafia monsters in the mix. It certainly made things interesting and makes me what to read all the rest of this series right away.
  
  I won’t go into the triggers and all the bad things that Killian does, but to say that there are many. Because if you don’t like reading about this kind of guy, then you shouldn’t be reading Rina Kent books. She writes for those of us that like dark romance, bullies, and anti-hero’s and she makes no bones about it. I for one love them and I haven’t disliked a book of hers that I have read so far.

  Dive in deeper into the storyline and these two were perfect for each other. I don’t think the author could’ve chosen anyone better for the other. When dark and light collided it was a perfect match.

  When Rina said this was her darkest book yet, she wasn't kidding. This is dark ride but also filled with growth, steam, and ever laughter. Pls check TW!
  
  I won't lie at first (like the first two chapters) I was scared of Killian and I didn't know how to feel about him. I was not his biggest fan. Kill is truly a psycho, but he grew on me. Kill was different from the beginning, and at first all I label him was as evil and a psycho, but there is more to Kill. You get to read his story and you get to see there is more to him. Glyn Glyn glyn!! I was excited for her, and I'm happy she found her voice. I really liked her, she def was not what was expecting. Glyn and Kill are pure fire together. I won't lie at first I was their counter was sour, I was not really feeling it but the rest worked out well.

  - I wanted to know more about the relationship between Kill and Asher at the end. I'm happy they worked it out but I really want it to read it. Asher wasn't the best dad, and honestly I understand where he is coming from bc his sister was crazy. But I was upset with Asher, the way he treated Kill. I'm worried about RES as parents bc I'm scared their parenting is not the best, and I know they care for their kids and they can make mistakes but it pains me. I was in pain with the whole Kill/Asher/Rei/Gareth thing.
  
  -ELI & AVA- The tension, oh my I need their book. I think Ava might become my fav gal
  
  - The girls friendship- okay, I love them. the way they are all friends and Remi and Creigh tag along. Remi's Humor is just so good.

  Want to read about a psycho who becomes obsessed quickly? How about one who has a low moral compass? Who doesn’t know how to feel sympathy? Well, then you came to the right spot… cause Killian is all of this… and more 😅(his name is so fitting lol).
  
  If you get triggered easily, then this might not be the book for you. The first scene can be tough for people (I’ll list ⚠️ down below). As for me, well, that only solidified how crazy, OTT, and psycho Killian is… and… I was glued to the pages 😬.

  
  “You’ll be late anyway, so how about we go back to my very logical idea of staying in bed all day?” I stare at Killian from my position in the passenger seat of his car. “Are you kidding?” He taps his finger on the steering wheel. “It’s strange how I rarely joke, but you choose to think that anyway.   Glyndon (19) is visiting the site of where her close friend unal!ved himself. She’s having some thoughts about life herself when she’s feeling like she’s falling. Don’t worry. Killian (19) comes to save the day. Well, kind of. He’s not saving her without getting something in return, and he wants her to beg and get on her knees. But she doesn’t want to. She’s a King, and Kings don’t bow down- she has the bite to prove it 😬, but Killian is gonna make her… and he’s gonna love every second of it 😅.
  
  What I liked/loved: (possible spoilers)
  —umm… I wasn’t gonna say this first, but I’ll say it. The 🔥 lol. There’s a lot of them 😬😅. Once Killian takes Glyndon’s v at about 50%, it’s on 😉. I’m surprised these two came up for air 🤣. I appreciated that he *respected* her feelings here and there… until he was tired of being *respectful*
  
  —how, um, f0rceful Killian could be. He doesn’t like the word no 👀. If he wants something, he’s gonna take it 😬. The opening scene is n0nc0n, then we get some dubc0n ones, but for the most part, Glyndon was along for the ride 😉

  What I didn’t like/wanted more of:
  —when the tension between Killian and his family happens, I wanted it to be drawn out more. I got emotional, regardless, but I still wanted more
  
  —more sweet Killian. He actually makes an effort, but I would’ve liked to see them as a nice couple a little bit longer (like in an extended epilogue lol). I get it. We’ll get their HEA as the series continues, but I wanted more
  
  —there were some grammar/spelling mistakes. If the mistakes are minor, I tend to overlook them, but there were a couple that had he rereading lines to figure out what was supposed to be there 😬

  Cray cray and annika?? I bet my soul that the next book is about them and I don’t know if it’s just me but why do I keep thinking their book would be like Vaughn and Len from The Angry God?
  
  Oh the main couple. Right. Our psycho manipulative rapist and our virgin artist. - it was okay. I mean, I feel like they had more scenes apart than together but I liked their banter and Killian did make me smile from time to time. And I was happy by the time I finished the book so I must’ve liked it.

  Killian and Glyndon are the openers lmao and I absolutely loved them! Seeing my favorite bunch of characters as parents and all in their mature broody glory was like a dream come true for me. I kind of felt like a cougar for lusting after Jeremy because I loved him as a cute baby boy but ughhhh, what was I supposed to do?? I mean I will admit that it was so tough to choose after whom I should lust, father or their son? 🤣🤣🤣 Like lol, I swear I was hyperventilating throughout this book, this is like a collaboration of all your Rina Kent characters in a single book. I mean I can't even count the number of character appearances. It's just that good!!!!!
  
  I have read the epilogue chapters in the nightingale anthology and it was mentioned that Killian was different. He was twisted and his way of thinking worried his parents. That was when he was a kid. Now he is a young man, all in his dark, broody glory, ready to destroy poor little Glyndon. Imagine that. The triggers in this book, like I was positively drooling. Not to mention the fact that he is compared with a young Aiden all the time lmao , that should alone give you a hint of how twisted he is.
  
  This one is a standalone with all the steam. It's probably Rina's longest book and it's all worth it. I mean for me, any amount of words by rina are not enough, like I am always left wanting more and same was the case in this one! I want the next book so bad. I already have so many couples in my head, let's see which ones we get! Definitely recommending this one to all the high school dark romance loving people.   I did not know how this one was going to go for me. I didn't know if I would ever try Rina Kent again. But I'm not too big to admit I was wrong and I will be continuing this series for sure.
  
  I like that Killian was a BORN psychopath and that the reason he was able to get away with so much is that he was good at masking and had parents that loved him. He was not a good dude but I did enjoy his antics and his obsession with Glyndon.
  
  Gylndon has her own mental struggles and it explains why she doesn't go to her very loving family for help when Kill turns his eyes on her. So that also made it work for me.
  
  All the naughtiness and sexy bad boy stuff that comes with the story were right up my alley. So this was a winner.

  I LOVED these two main characters. They're brilliant. Phenomenal. So so fucking hot, I can't.
  But my favorite part had to be the introductions. The beginning of everyone's stories. I'm intrigued by so many of these characters. I want all their stories.

  Tenemos como protagonistas a Killian Carson hijo de Reina y Ash y Glyndon King hija de Levi y Astrid (mi pareja favorita)
  Glyn está pasando por un proceso duro en su vida lo que la lleva a estar al borde de un barranco donde vio por última vez a su amigo a punto de caer un hombre la salva, pero tiene que pagar un precio.
  Ese hombre es Killian que es frío, manipulador, calculador con cero empatía y una fijación por el color rojo, pone los ojos en Glyn y no va a dejar que su presa se le escape.
  
  Me gustó mucho que la autora nunca cambió la personalidad de Killian, no lo suavizó, tenemos a un psicópata que se obsesionó, manipuló, acosó y que en el proceso se enamoró y tuvo la suerte que ella también se enamorara y lo aceptara tal cual era.
  
  Las escenas spicy son kinky y medio hardcore, muy acorde a la personalidad de él y los gustos ella o sea un roto para un descocido y no soy tan fan a mí me gustan más soft.
  
  Hubo caosa que no me gustaron como cuando ellos se conocen SPOLER ALERT la escena no consensuada.
  La personalidad de ella, si me gustó que fuera dulce, tranquila pero no que fuera tan débil, insegura o sea I MEAN.. ES UNA KING, sus mommy issues que la pobre Astrid ni culpa tenía sólo estaba en su cabeza.
  Y como trataba ella y Bran a su hermano Lan, sólo porque no es como ellos.
  
  En cambio ,los daddy issues de Killian estaban bien justificados, me cayó mal Ash por como lo trató pero la escena de su reconciliación con toda su familia fue muy bonita.
  
  Me encantó que Levi, Astrid y Asher tuvieran su capítulo,

  What a fantastic start to this next gen series! This book starts with a bang with the explosive first meeting between Glyndon and her tormentor/love interest, Killian, as he demands payment for saving her from herself - and just keeps going. If you're looking for a morally gray bad boy that is redeemed, you're not going to find that here. He's a psychopath who's good at masking, but doesn't even put in the effort with Glyn, because she sees him. She recognizes the same clinical lack of empathy her brother has hidden from their parents. And Killian is glad. Glad he doesn't have to pretend with her, especially since he's decided he's going to keep her. Forever.

  Just wow! Loved both MCs so much ❤️. The character development was phenomenal and they both grew so much - together. Glyn intrigues him when no one has ever caught his interest before. How good she is and how she sees beauty. She quiets his storm, while he makes her stronger. The book is really not heavy storyline-wise, there's a whole lot of introduction to the new cast of characters and kind of laying out the lay of the land for the coming books, but 🤷🏻‍♀️. Still giving it 5 stars, because Killian was the best psycho hero I've read in a long time, and Glyn was literally his perfect pairing, lol. If you're a fan of psychos, dubcon, OTT controlling heroes with more than a dash of crazy, you're going to love this one too!

  HOLY SHIT. That was f*cking amazing. Killian and Glyndon served. The dark chemistry between them, the burning tension, the remorseless love, it was everything.
  If we thought Aiden King and Cole Nash were crazy, Killian is truly insane, he’s cold, possesive and obsessive with a heart for nothing and no one other than Glyndon (and Mia who stole my heart btw).
  Glyndon is so pure and full of compassion and I love her relationship with practically everyone she’s friends with/
  I also LIVE for the bond between her and her grandfather and how special it js.

  Jeremy Volkov is HOT HOT HOT. Omg I’m obsessed and I also adore how protective he is over Annika.
  Annika Volkov is the sweetest soul ever, I love how bubbly, compassionate and open she is. I can’t wait to see what’s happening between her and Creighton because she can’t leave him alone😂
  Landon King can rail me. That’s it. He is the perfect mix of Aiden, Levi and Jonathon and I want all his crazy inside me.
  Eli King can also rail me. Aiden King’s son is the hottest man alive and I’d let him do anything to me. Also, the way he looks at Ava and how possessive he is of her😩😩
  Ava Nash is a fricking icon. She has silvers f u attitude and an iconic fashion sense and I love the way that she couldn’t give two shits about how possessive Eli is.
  Brandon King is so adorable that I just want to hug him. He’s the peace maker with a pure heart.
  Cecily gives teal Van Doren vibes and I love it.
  Remi Is Mini Ronan and I love it. He’s hilarious and iconic and Is a spitting image of his dad.
  Creighton King is definitely the most mysterious, he’s silent and deadly and has dark aura surrounding him.

  I just know this will be my favorite series from Rina Kent, I feel it will beat the Royal Elite series for sure, at least for me. At the beginning it was hard for me to catch up with all the new characters, but the tree of them at the beginning of the book certainly helped.
  
  I highly recommend reading Rina Kent's previous books, including the Royal Elite series, duets and The Deception trilogy where the main characters are the parents of the characters from this series. Even though it is a lot of books, these books make this series a thousand times better to read when you know the stories of the characters' parents.
  
  I really like that Rina Kent has connected the two worlds of her books and because of that this series will be even more interesting than RES.
  
  I will not lie when all the characters were introduced I forgot a bit about our main characters and I had to remind myself that this book is about them. But it's only because I can't wait to read about all new characters, or almost all of them, because not everyone is supposed to have a book. Hopefully Rina will give characters who won't have the book in this series their own stories in another series, like Knox from RES.
  
  Despite the fact that this book didn't have the best plot and probably Killian and Glen won't be my favorite couple, I liked it very much and I can't wait to see them in the rest of the books
  
  I can't wait to read about the rest of the character and I really hope that Nikolai/Brandon and Jeremy/ Cecily will be next.

  God of Malice...is the latest book by RK. The new series is based on the lives of the children of her characters from the many books RK has written. GOM has a very appealing cover and well once again, a book cover lured my shallow ass in. The question is was the plot as enticing as the cover? RK had indeed promised us a psychopath who is violent, with no moral compass and overall a delicious unhinged villain. Did RK deliver as promised?
  
  Eh not really.
  
  I found Killian to be sociopathic rather than a psychopath. He was very tame compared to the unhinged men I have read about in other books. RK gives some reason as to why Kill is the way he is but it wasn't really enough for me to establish Kill as a certified psychopath. His desire to be crazy and kill is suddenly stopped when he meets our boring heroine, Glyn whose only purpose is to open her legs for Killian. There was absolutely nothing remarkable about Glyn and I do not understand his obsession with her. I guess Cherry nailed it when it came to describing Glyn.
  
  I yawned whenever I had to read about her and her reasons as to why she could not be Killian's. The whole book is basically her denying that she is his only to turn out otherwise later on, lol. Regardless of Glyn being annoying af, I did find Killian likeable at times, and the other characters who the series is about made this read somewhat worthwhile.
  
  RK has hinted that perhaps one of these books will be MM? an MM teaser? with Nikolai being bisexual and all, and referring to sweet Brandon as a "lotus", a girl can hope. That is a book I would definitely read, although I am not sure when that will be. Whenever that is, sign me up.
  
  The book also had way too many cameos of previous characters, everyone and their mom made an appearance in GOM, I suppose RK did that so new readers have an idea of who is who, and also since this was an introduction to the rest of the series. Unfortunately, it took away the focus from the main couple.
  
  The "plot twist" was also kind of predictable, I guess that happens when you read too many books, especially dark romance. I was however entertained enough that I read the whole book. It was by no means a bad book, a bit boring for RK but entertaining enough that you want to know what happens with the other hinted "couples".
  
  Would I recommend this? eh why not.

  Oh my gosh!! This is definitely Rina’s most depraved hero to date, and I’m so freaking in love!! I’ve been waiting for something like this to come out of Rina and I’m freaking mesmerized! Buckle up your seat belts and be ready for a ride! This is one of my new favorite Rina Couples, and I didn’t see it coming.
  
  I have no words after finishing, the world that Rina created is pure perfection, it’s unlike any we have seen from her before. The messing of the American characters with the English ones was seamless. Even though the American characters were some of her darkest and craziest characters to date. If you thought the parents were crazy and possessive, they don’t hold a candle to their kids.
  
  This is the story of Killian and Glyndon. Glyndon finds herself the object of Killians entertainment early on. She is closed off, and dealing with her own internal struggles, and not quite sure where she fits in, within her world. God of malice deals with The inadequacy that we all deal with on a regular basis, was so relatable to me, I really connected with that part of the story. Rina was able to pull emotions out of me that I haven’t felt when reading in a long time, she created this realism to the story that’s very few authors create. Yes it’s fiction, and there are themes in God of Malice that may trigger some people, but the story itself and the topics it deals with are beautifully told, And make you feel not alone in your struggles.
  
  Killian, gosh, the depravity and darkness he exudes, was extraordinary to read about. This is the type of hero that sucks me in and I cannot look away for the life of me. You will fall in love with his heinous acts, you will see that there is more to him that meets the eye, and understand some of the reason he is the way he is. You will even want to give him a hug because of it. The fact that Rina could write a character who lacks clear set emotions but makes us feel every emotion possible for them, is extremely telling on her ability as a writer. Rina to me is one of the best writers out there, and God of Malice shows that.
  
  The actions of the characters had me laughing and smiling more times that I thought I would. The banter between the friend groups was one of my favorite parts. The mysteries that have been created, already leave me with so many theories on the couples and stories to come within this world. There wasn’t one character I didn’t love, every side character filled a purpose and made the story stronger.
  
  Let’s talk about the steam! It was pure debauchery (not just the kind you’d fine as la debauche) it was sprinkled throughout these pages, God of malice is one of the hottest books I have read to date. 10 stars for the steam!
  
  Overall this book is one of my top reads of the year! It is going down as one of my favorite Rina Kent books, I would give it a million stars if possible! Do yourself a favor and read this story. Go in blindly (other then the triggers) and be prepared for one of the most amazing things you will read.
