I was irked by the fact this book ends at the 78% mark. Page 189 out of 238 to be exact. That's 22% or 49 pages left! I understand and appreciate the author giving a sneak peak into the next book in this series. This one is a stand alone by the way. I don't mind the author leaving you links to their socials, website, etc or list of other books. They have written. All that it normal and fine in my opinion. I just didn't expect it to take up that much of the end of the book. I find that annoying. I did take a .5 star off for that. Now, to the actual book review.
This is a stand alone, dual point of view, HEA book. It's the story of Jade MFC & Pierce MMC. Jade is a student. Studying creative writing with hopes of becoming an author. She wants to write steamy erotic romance stories. Problem is she has no sexual experience. She's a virgin. She has an interest in learning about BDSM. She just doesn't understand why someone would want to be tortured during a sexual encounter. That's how she sees BDSM at first. She's searching online for answers about the topic. She's decided she'll try to interview some people in the lifestyle. Maybe it'll help her understand it, and be able to write about it. She has many preconceived ideas about BDSM. As she searchers she finds a website for a club in Oregon. It has a message board. She asks a question & finds a willing Dom to answer them. That Dom is our MMC, Pierce.
Pierce runs a multi million dollar company. He is a Dom, and has been a member of the club for a few years. He doesn't do relationships. Well, not any more. He's had troublesome relationships before and no longer wants to deal with that. He almost never scenes with a sub more than once. The club offers him willing partners without strings. This gives him the freedom he wants. Lately he has been restless and looking for something but not sure what yet. He has a rare totally free weekend and is enjoying it when he gets a notification. It's from the club message board. It's Jade asking about information on BDSM. He's intrigued and answers her. They begin to hit it off. He convinces her to change over to a private skype. They can't video chat because her camera is broken on her laptop. Before long he's trying to get her to see BDSM in a more favorable light. She's asking him questions he finds interesting, intriguing, smart, and well thought out. They are both finding their conversation not only mentally but sexually stimulating as well. Over the course of the weekend they talk multiple times. By Sunday night Jade has agreed to go on a 2 month vacation with Pierce. She has that time off from school for summer break. Pierce is willing to clear his work schedule and teach her all he can about BDSM in that time. They discuss and draw up a BDSM contract. They'll be in a secluded cabin in the woods of Oregon for 2 whole months. Just the two of them. They are both looking forward to it. You'll have to read it to find out what else happens in the story.
Spoilers Ahead
For the most part the book is well written. Though more thought could have been put into some parts. Jade talks about her parents a bit, but they are never introduced no phone calls, visits, etc. She talks about not wanting to disappoint them. What they think of her, and how their opinion matters to her. Though it seems off a bit due to their absence. Jade has all these preconceived notions and negative thoughts about BDSM. Mostly due to her not understanding it. Her emergence into it with Pierce is fast. During the time that those parts are written it is handled well. She seems to be getting a good understanding of what is happening. Not only physically but mentally. Then back at home it's different. That all seems to be because of her dealing with Charles. He says some things about his opinions and she's completely doubtful again. Then after seeing the therapist everything is perfectly fine again. That could've all been better explained to make it feels more true to life emotionally. The whole relationship with Charles was weird. He's written as a harmless admirer, then a stalker, then a nice guy with strong unrequited feelings. There are times where it seems he's dangerous almost. Then a friendly almost father type figure. It's mind bogglingly odd how mercurial his character is written. It was refreshing to see Jade standup to him in the end. She was all over the place with how she dealt with him beforehand though. Jades' emotional states and reactions could have been written better. She could be all over the place at times with everything. Her character came off as being younger than 24 and sheltered. Then she'd be acting much more confident and older. It was just off at times. Overall it is a decent story & worth a read. Enjoy! -

I really liked the premise of the first book here...... BUT, much of the dialogue between Pierce, the Billionaire American Super Dom🐺🍌🌋👋, and Jade, the British Virgin💋👗, was so stilted, so inane, so silly, it was laughable. The book is very sweet and unique with Jade👗💋 originally talking to Pierce(known as Mr. Power at the bdsm club he is a member of in Oregon) over the internet. She wants to write erotic romances, but knows nothing, since she's a virgin!💋👗 YA THINK!
The more Pierce🐺🍌🌋🔥👋 talks to her, the more he wants to have her come and live with him for a while so he can train her to be a submissive.👗👋 Finally he gets her to agree. He has no intentions of having her in a permanent relationship with him. It will be only two months together. He's a one 🌙night stand🍌🌋🔥 kind of guy, no strings, no love💔. Use em and lose em! 💔
Jade💋👗 decides she will push his boundries about being in a loving💓 relationship, and Pierce🐺🍌🌋🔥👋 will push her boundries into the world of bdsm!👋👋YEHAW!

"Billionaire Games. " Loved this book. It's written so cleverly and had me laughing all the way through. It's a story of three very different bad boy billionaires🐺🍌🌋👋💪 who come to the Boston funeral of a woman in that each of them has known intimately. The three meet at the funeral for the first time and decide to honor the dead woman's life by going to an Irish Pub 🍸 in a nearby town and picking up three women. Each man picks a woman for the other. The bet is to be the first man to bed his woman, and they can only spend $500 per day in the effort. The problem is the three woman happen to be sisters, and their cousin, the bartender, overhears the plot and tells them. So the three men have no idea the three women are on to their cruel game!
Insincere or sincere? The men🐺🍌🌋 tell the women all kinds of stuff they think will get them into the sack! Some of it is true, some of it is b.s. The women decide to play the game too, even the girls parents get involved in playing the three men!
There is an added side story here too that the author is holding back on. The dead woman was the victim of a hit and run, and the three women's parents know who she was! In fact almost everyone in the town is related to each other! This is definitely a book📑 i will finish! Xxx through and through!

I loved this book. I've never read anything by Michelle Love before, but now I'm going to go back and check out some of her previous releases.
Jade's dream is to become an erotic romance author. She's finishing up her creative writing degree, but even though she's got the book knowledge down, she's seriously lacking in the real experience department. Jade's still a virgin and although she wants to put some BDSM flavour into her books, she doesn't understand the appeal of it nor does she understand how it works.
She finds a very experience tutor in Pierce. He's more than happy to share his honest answers and opinions on everything to do with the BDSM lifestyle. She finds him on an online BDSM club message board and they begin a very informative and extremely steamy virtual relationship.
After some of the hottest encounters I've read between two people who are not even on the same continent, Pierce decides he'd love to meet Jade and give her a more hands on education. They isolate themselves in a cabin and although Pierce is eager to teach her his preferences, he also is surprised to find that he wants to share sweet and gentle love making with Jade.
This is supposed to be two month arrangement. There's a contract and everything. But Jade's heart doesn't care what she's signed off on and she finds herself falling for Pierce. He has absolutely no interest in starting a relationship and is set to break Jade's heart at the end of the contract, but will it be as easy to walk away from her as he expects? They share something special, even Pierce admits that, but there's no room in his life for love.
Extremely hot, intense and erotic love story between an experienced dom excited to share his lifestyle and a very curious, eager to learn virgin.

During her research into BDSM she posts a question on a private clubs message board in Oregon hoping to get understanding but what she gets is a Dom named Dr. Power, Pierce Langford. Pierce is absolutely intrigued by this spitfire and her questions like no other and when she tells him she is a virgin he is immediately entranced. During their online chatting one thing becomes clear, Pierce needs Jade like no other and convinces her to agree to a two month contract in a secluded cabin to teach her what she wants to know. This is my first Michelle Love book and I absolutely loved it!! Jade's dream is to be an erotic romance author. She is pursuing a degree in creative writing in the UK and is intrigued by the BDSM lifestyle. Jade doesn't understand the appeal BDSM can have or the relationship itself. Trying to find out more about the lifestyle she goes on a BDSM message board where she meets Pierce. Pierce is an experienced Dom who embraces the lifestyle due to commitment issues and his chaotic work schedule. Pierce is honest in answering all of Jade's questions and is intrigued by Jade. They share some very hot moments together through their chats and Pierce encourages Jade to come to Oregon and meet him. They agree on a two month arrangement in which Jade can receive a hands on education in the BDSM lifestyle. They seclude themselves in a cabin in the woods and Jade's education into the BDSM lifestyle begins. The chemistry between Pierce and Jade sizzles and they have some extremely hot scenes together. Their sessions draw them closer together and they begin to develop feelings for each other. As their time together draws to an end will they be able to walk away from each other? Seriously, this book is so beautifully done, it should be required reading before being allowed to one-click anything else. Written from both the experienced and jaded male perspective as well as the inexperienced and outsider viewpoint of the female, this story really delves into why people are drawn to (and stay in) this particular lifestyle. Full of insights - some might actually make your progressive new-age self a little offended - this is as much a study of the human condition as it is a love story. But don't let the high level of intelligence put you off - if you just want a down-and-dirty sexy romance with lots of setting fire to the sheets, you have my permission to ignore the character growth and inner monologues and just enjoy the abundance of exquisitely detailed love scenes. Just be prepared to take notes. And make sure you have your favorite play partner handy, just in case you decide to try out some new moves. This book is just full of them. Oh! And lest we forget, it's a wonderful love story! Pierce, I believe, is actually more emotionally transformed than Jade is! Their road to a HEA isn't easy, but it is profound and lasting. A college student but above all an aspiring writer is collecting material on her first book. It isn't actually material one can find easily. Indeed her dream is to become an erotic romance writer so she has decided to write a book regarding the dark world of BDSM. Her researches lead her to an exclusive club in the USA (she lives in England) and online she will meet a demanding and gorgeous dom . Her feasibility study will soon become reality by creating and living in first person her own story in a lost cabin for two months in which she will learn the most hidden desires of BDSM. A book full of lust but mostly with a psychological impact because beyond the romance and sexy scenes the author perfectly describes this dark world. The characters are fully developed. The female character is a virgin and not afraid of facing this mysterious world while the hero is a man who initially seems to be in control of the entire situation yet later in the book he will realize that he must let go of his innermost feelings. An enjoyable read but mostly I need to say that I was attracted by the entire plot and the development of this unusual romance.

Surprisingly she gets a response from a Dom named Pierce who is very open in answering her questions. Too her surprised, Pierce doesn't enjoy hurting women but sees punishment as fulfilling a need the sub has. His explanations arouses Jade's curiousity. When Jade is honest about her lack of experience, Pierce is excited by her. He wants to be the one to teach her everything she needs to know. He proposes that Jade visits him for two months while he introduces her to sex and BDSM. Pierce has never used the same sub twice so this is a big change for him. Jade agrees to go hoping to teach Pierce about relationships. Their two months together will be very hot!
This is a good passionate book. There is some elements of BDSM but it is very light. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review. -
Forced myself to finish. Not worth reading!
I absolutely hate not finishing something I start, but it took me SO long to drag my way through this infuriating book so that I could honestly review it. I bet my membership to a REAL dungeon this author is actually a man and has never stepped foot inside one. The degree in which this author belittles women and their so called purpose and "natural submissive tendencies" is disgusting and incorrect. Woman are not brainwashed to believe they should be equals to their male counterparts, but ARE equal whether treated so or not. Also no dungeon works this way. And no dungeon has only Male Dominants. Many men crave submission as much as many woman and many women are very adept Dominants. This bull**** described here is prostitution, not submission. I won't even go into the huge number of typos in this badly written piece of trash. THIS IS NOT HOW AUTHENTIC BDSM RELATIONSHIPS WORK! Not inside or outside of a dungeon. Do some freaking actual research and try to hide your disdain for women a little bit better. I will never read or recommend this author. Ever. -
The book has a nice starting point. Jade Thomas is still studying, but wants to become an writer, preferably of erotica. And a good writer should familiarise herself with the various topics she may come across, especially BDSM. So she surfs on the internet to find somebody who could explain to her, what it is all about. Pierce Langford starts answering her questions on a bulletin board, and of course the conversations get more intense.
But then the quality of the story deteriorates. Careful English Jade soon decides to go to America to be introduced into BSDM for a two week period in a secluded cabin with Pierce. Pierce holds to rather old fashioned ideas about cleaning and cooking, and Jade fully accepts a 1950's role devision, as both agree that that is the natural order for man and woman. He provides and she finds pleasure in making him happy.
The story was not good enough to help me overcome the authors annoying viewpoints on male / female relations. -
Sexy and sinful
I devoured this book in less than a day. What a great read. Not only is this book sexy and sinful but also educational. Jade is an inexperienced young woman who is thriving to become a novelist. With her desire to learn more about BDSM she meets Pierce on a message board and they are instantly drawn to each other. The conversation between them is very detailed and has an educational edge of what BSDM is about. Once Jade and Pierce finally meet their chemistry is undeniable. Pierce tries to keep up his walls but Jade's free nature and spirit makes his walls crumble fast and he finds himself wanting more.
Pierce and Jade are a match made in heaven. Her innocence and his experience as a Dom fit together perfectly. This book is extremely well written and gives a deep insight look into the world of BDSM. Exerts from other books is quite the bonus also. -
This is a well written story that shows BDSM from various viewpoints. Jade, an aspiring erotic romance writer is a virgin and knows nothing about BDSM. While investigating online she gets connected to Pierce, an owner of a BDSM club who offers to teach her about the world of BDSM. Lots of drama and emotion in this book. The characters are alive and I really connected to them. Pierce has no intention of committing to anyone or falling in love. Lots of steamy sex, kink and chemistry that has no bounds. Do they take their 'contract' to the next level. No spoiler here, but you will love this book. IMO, Michelle Love has another winner.

This is a new author for me, and my word, she now has a huge fan! This is the story of Jade who is on a creative writing course, and questions the world of BDSM, and why anyone would want to be a submissive. Pierce is a Dom in a BDSM club, and these two communicate online, and eventually agree to meet.
No spoilers from me though, you absolutely need to read this one for yourself!!
This is a well written, fast paced, hot and erotic read. I look forward to reading more work from this author, as I was intrigued and captivated from the very beginning. Awesome work Michelle.

This was an interesting story, I don't know that it was exactly to my tastes. I had a hard time getting into it personally. I just wasn't able to connect to the characters for the most part. Jade is an innocent that wants to write erotic romance, particularly BDSM. She actually wants to learn about BDSM though and make her books accurate though. She is from England and asks a question on a community board for a BDSM club that is located in Oregon. Pierce is the one who answers the question. They end up taking the conversation into a separate chat. Pierce is intrigued by Jade and wants to meet her. Jade had no interest in becoming a submissive or experimenting in the community. Pierce wants to teach her, open her mind, and do it in person. He finally convinces her to come to Oregon and they sign a month long contract and head up into the mountains. This was an interesting take on how to introduce someone into the BDSM world. He never really pushed Jade and everything is part of the safe, sane, and consensual mandate. The story is very explicit, as I'm sure you can imagine. I didn't really have a problem with the topic or anything like that. I just had a hard time getting involved. If it sounds intriguing to you, it might be a good story for you.

This book has it all....romance, BDSM, virgin and a hot teacher!! Jade wants to be an erotic romance author but as a virgin is lacking in knowledge to do so expertly and have the book flow. She is unsure of BDSM which makes her afraid. After seeking help with some answers, Pierce offers to help her in every way possible. Pierce and Jade spend time in a cabin in Oregon as Jade's lessons commence. But can Pierce protect his heart from falling in love with Jade? Will he be able to walk away after their 2 months are up?

This one is a tough one to call...the storyline is good; the characters interesting; but something just seems a bit "off" somehow. The setup for the book was okay; Jade and Pierce were really quite interesting as they laid out plans for Jade's introduction into the world of BDSM. Somewhere around the middle, I sort of lost interest and had to cajole myself into finishing the book. Man, am I glad I stuck it out! The last couple of chapters really bring it home...I was seriously doubting whether a HEA could be found for these two. Thank goodness I kept reading! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was glad I stuck it out the finish!)

4.5 start This was a Very good contemporary BDSM romance. Jade hopes to be a romance writer one day but she finds herself inquiring about BDSM. Pierce answers many of her questions online as he gives her facts about the lifestyle not what the general public tend to believe. They seem to communicate well and being a virgin she feels she needs to gain some experience. Unfortunatel, things change for both of them as they spend time together. I apologize for taking so long to read and chose to write a review. I believe it's original title was 'Secluded' and I just realized it was the same book. I received a complementary copy of this book. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

Great Read
Loved this story. I wish I could give it five stars but ugh, edit, proof reading. These are important aspects of writing. Errors are a distraction and pull you from the story. If you can overlook these kinds of issues then read this book! Pierce and Jade are well developed characters that are impossible to not to fall in love with. The plot was well thought out and executed. I really appreciated the care that went into meeting the sane, safe and consensual standards of BDSM. I have read one two many of these books that don't. -
Secluded is about a billionaire top who offers to teach a virgin-want-to-be-author about the world of BDSM for her work. The characters are well defined and their story is quite sweet and their chemistry is amazing online and in person. While they can be eloquent in their conversation, there were plenty of times it came off a bit cheesy. Highly recommended. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Absolutely well written - as always from Michelle Love.
I was hooked from page one. I just loved the story and the chemistry between the main characters.
I loved every minute spent reading it. The strong pull between Pierce and Jade is amazing.
I like, that Jade seeks, what she wants and ends up taking it.
The sexscenes - both BDSM and normal ones - are so steamy hot and well described that you just want to participate :)

i liked most
the first story i enjoyed. then i read two more stories that were pretty much the same story, just different locals and different names for the characters. i didn't like them very much. they were followed by better stories that i did like. the navy seal brief was good and fun the one before it i liked too. also, if Mrs love is not american that would explain many of the wrong words used. i've read many of her stories and truly enjoyed them.
