From the second that she walked into my class, I was a goner. There wasn’t a line I wouldn’t cross or a boundary I wouldn’t push to be near Amy. She was my obsession.
She was also my student.

Five years of being a university professor and I’ve never been tempted, until Amy Mackintosh walked into my class like she owned it. She was outspoken, smart and mouthy as hell.
I can’t wait to tame those wicked lips.
I’ll teach her everything she needs to know about this world, most of all, her place in it, by my side.
When there’s a blackout after hours, and a demonstration turned riot on campus, I’ll protect Amy with every breath in my body, keep her safe until it’s over, and then…
I’ll just keep her.

His Obsession series features obsessed heroes who will stop at nothing to win the object of their obsession. If you love OTT possessive heroes chasing the bad-ass, sassy women who torment them, then you’ll love His Obsession series. Extra OTT, extra spicy and always HEA.

His Student Obsession Reviews

    Great Story!

I really enjoyed this read! It was a tiny dark but not too much. I loved Aaron’s obsession with Amy, it was very attractive. I also enjoyed that Amy, even though she liked him, didn’t just throw herself at him. It was a good quick read and I can’t wait for the next in the series to come out.

I thought that this was a really good book. I really enjoyed Amy and Aaron's story. These two know that they should be drawn to each other but they can't help the way their heart and bodies react to the other. There is a little bit of drama, with lots of steam and tension but Amy and Aaron get a great HEA. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for us. I would recommend this book and Ms. Gia as a great author.

    Fast paced insta-love

The Professor has an obsession and that's his student Amy. It was so fast paced it felt like everything happened in a few days. From student to teacher assistant, moving in, and then the epilogue 3 years later.

If Joe from You was a rich self assured processor and Beck actually had a thing for his obsession lol. Extremely short read.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Amy Mackintosh is so close to finishing college, she is in her final year and is ready for the next step in her life, but a year is a year and recently she is finding it hard to keep up with her studies, her basketball games and the two jobs that she needs to pay her way. It isn’t until Professor Aaron Cole calls her out on her recent assignment that she admits that things are becoming too much. There is something about Professor Cole that she is drawn too and as much as she tries to deny it there is something between them so when he offers her a job as his TA will the chemistry finally be too much to ignore, is this man her forever or is she making the biggest mistake of her life?

Professor Aaron Cole was ready to end his teaching career that is until Amy Mackintosh walks into his lecture and changes his life forever. But she is a student, and he is prepared to wait until she is no longer his student before finally making his move but when her work starts to suffer, and she is late for his class he knows that he needs to take care of his woman. Is now the right time to make his intentions clear and does she want him the way that he wants her?

This was a fantastic short read with everything that I have come to expect from Ms. Bailey, a strong female lead that is sassy enough to tell the man in her life what she wants but vulnerable enough to let him in and an alpha male that recognizes his other half and knows what he has to do to make her his. I was in the story from start to finish and loved this book 4.3 * Read.

    PROMISES! PROMISES!! Yet So disappointing…..

I am not a huge fan of this author because I tend to be let down with the sexy times.

In this case our hero is a dark & dangerous stalker. Yup, over-the-top stalker. Sets his sights on his grad student, Amy, and finds out every single thing he can about her. He knows where she works and all about her personal life, but in real life, he acts like a cold, demanding professor. He is very demanding and hard on her, calling her out for being a minute late for class and talking about how terrible her papers are. It sort of amazing to me she wasn’t just like ‘leave me alone you jerk!’. But apparently she was enthralled by dark mysterious ways and was attracted to him despite his crap attitude towards her.

Where I start to dislike the story is when Mr. Dark & Dangerous, after talking about being so obsessed with the heroine, is so sweet when he takes her home. He keeps telling her she is free to leave, that she should probably leave because he’s so crazy about her. Not ‘I’m gonna hunt you down if you try to leave me because I’m obsessed’, just plain old passive guy basically asking ‘are you really sure you want to be with me?’…. Lame…. This is just not dark, dominate, obsessed stalker behavior. After all his talk of scaring her with his obsession, he should be more like ‘I’m tying you to the bed whether you like it or not’…. Not super sweet hand holding- stare right in your eyes kind of soft & gentle make sweet-sweet love…😴😴

Yup it’s cute & sweet…. And totally contradictory to obsessed stalker behavior. Fast forward to epilogue and we’ve got 2 super hard-working people who apparently can go for weeks without seeing each other because of their jobs, even though hero is self-made millionaire even before they met. Heroine is trying to make hero (remember our crazy obsessed stalker hero?) jealous by telling him she’s traveling out of town for a while with her male work companion.

Hero: Why didn’t I know about this?
Heroine: Because your not my boss?
    Hero: … (summarizing…) maybe I should take a business trip there too?….

    That’s it! Lol.
Heroine goes on to say…’When work got too busy, it was possible not to see him for a week at a time, and it was like torture. Of course, I couldn’t admit that to him, as our ongoing rivalry prohibited it. He liked to challenge me.’

Weird, right? Or is it just me? She sounds like she doesn’t want to be apart but yet our stalker is pushing it on her. And what freaking rivalry??

Perhaps I just didn’t understand they’re dynamic or quite get what the author was trying to portray by painting hero as a dark-desired, dominating male whose obsessed with our heroine? If so, this is a ‘it’s me, not you’ case for this author.

    But…. I really feel like I was promised something I didn’t receive….

Sometimes books are just mid and then you get to a certain scene and just suddenly *get it*. When Aaron beat up that drunken college kid, this book went from a 2-star to a 4-star. I say beat up, because even though he only incapacitated him physically, he read him to death. With a scalding tongue, he completely devalued that entire frat boy's existence and fuck it was great.

The Act 2 'rising attractions-type' scene was a bit of a mess, with one of those classic scenes I'm coming to absolutely fucking despise. FMC: “I’m ready. For fuck’s sake, I’m tired of not knowing. I want the truth from you,” MMC: “The truth? You already know the truth. You know there is something between us that would see the pages of this institution’s rule book on fire. You know that this between us isn’t normal or ordinary.” Why is this consistent thing in these books? They never actually answer. They just say, 'You know the truth blah blah blah' ANSWER THE GODDAMN QUESTION. Tell her how you feel, you mind-game obsessed freak.

Lmao, anyway, the third act breakup was literally 5 seconds long because the MMC was so controlling and pussy-whipped, he was jumping the steps of the plan too fast. But FMC figured it out quickly so I guess we can be happy for small miracles.

This was a hot, steamy and fun story with a college professor Aaron who might have once given up on the thought of finding the one until her. While most people we intimidated by him she wasn’t. No in fact it was like she was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Amy was everything he was looking for and more. There was only one huge problem, she was his grad student. In addition to breaking rules that absolutely could not be broken, he couldn’t imagine she wanted him too. This riveting book only had one downfall, it was more like a novella than a full length book. I love Gia Bailey and this book is worth reading every juicy word to see what happens with Amy and Aaron. Will they break the rules? Are they going to get caught? Maybe she will walk away and choose this is not for her. You will have to read to see. Powerful men can be very persuasive.

Another quick read to check off when you need some romance but do not have time for a full fledge story. In this GB obsession story, a professor becomes obsessed with one of his students. This is the first time that this has ever happened to him. He finds out all he can about her. On the campus, he is known as somewhat of a hard-ass. The heroine is turned on by his alpha tactics. There is an ow wannabe that the hero dispatches of toot sweet.

*1-2 hot love scenes(not tame, but not pornographic)
    *Virgin heroine
*Alpha obsessed hero who will do anything for the h including changing his life so he can support her anyway possible.
    *May/December (12 years)
*No big black moment, just a little hiccup for a paragraph or 2
    *Basic but entertaining
    *Epilogue

Again this is a quick insta love story that is meant for a fast, fun read to escape a hum drum day. If you are reading this to get some greater meaning, then you best move on.

Professor Aaron Cole is a very successful business expert who teaches at an university for something to due. After a few years of teaching he was getting bored until Amy walks into his class. Just one look at her and he knows she is meant to be his. She is the only student who is willing to stand up to him and correct his mistakes. However he know nothing should happen until she graduates. As the years go on, it becomes harder and harder to wait. Her senior year, he notices that her work is slipping. He knows she is a basketball player and works 2 jobs beside being a full time student. Wanting to help her out he offers her a job as his TA that he heavily subsidizes. Working with her daily tempts him too much, he may not be able to wait for his obsession.

  • Harriet

Professor Cole has a reputation for being a Dragon, a gorgeous, talented and brilliant grump of a professor, who has natural charm, success and demands excellence.

Amy is his student, in her last year and he knows everything about her, not that she knows that. He has vowed to wait until she finishes the year before making his move. But Amy working two jobs starts to interfere with her work and he can't stay away.

This story is well written for a short, it sucks you in quickly and holds your attention until the end. It is an obsessive/ insta love connection student/ teacher romance with steam

    Worth a little read .

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
His student obsession is the first book in the ‘’his obsession’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Aaron is a business professor and a successful businessman. Amy is a student he is obsessed with. Will Aaron get his woman?
The chemistry between Amy and Aaron is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Aaron fell for Amy from the first time she walked into his class. He knew it was wrong and that’s why he gave himself a deadline, he could be obsessed with her but only from a distance, until she’s finished with his course that is. He makes her his student aid to help her, but it also means he gets to spend more time by her side. Aaron is obsessed with this sassy, smart mouthed girl and will do anything to protect her.

This was the first book I have read by Gia Bailey and I was just looking for a spicy read to grab my attention and I was skeptical about this book but thought I would still give it a go. I liked the idea of the professor being obsessed with the student and the teacher was definitely giving off stalker vibes. Amy had an attitude which I liked as it added some more back and forth between the H and h, and wasn’t just her doing what she’s told. However, Aaron, who started out as this obsessed stalker ended up trying to warn her away. I wanted the whole “I’ll hunt you to the end of the earth” kind of vibes but it just fell short. I will however be giving another book in this series a go!

    3.5 stars.

This OTT story has a professor who is obsessed with his student and is trying to hold back until she is no longer his student. He is domineering, blunt, single minded and not opposed to a spot of stalking to learn everything about his love, protect her and take care of her. The back and forth between them works and even though their relationship should be wrong it doesn't feel so. I liked the glimpse into their future.

His Student Obsession is a fast Professor/ student story. Aaron has always taught his classes and kept to himself, but this semester Monday classes have a new interest.

Amy is doing what she can to finish school, while working several jobs. Monday classes are hard to be on time, and her professor makes sure to point it out.

Aaron and Amy relationship is a hot and intense one, it pulls you into the pages and will have you melting in your seat. .

    Loved it! -3.5 Stars

His Student Obsession was everything I could ever want or need in a book. It was such a lighthearted and enjoyable book that I couldn’t put it down! The student/professor trope is one of my favorite tropes and Gia Bailey nailed it on the head with this one. I loved the “instalove” aspect, “I hate everyone but you”, or the “innocent girl meets bad boy” idea. This was fantastic!! I’m only docking off points because I wish it was a bit longer and there was more context/background information on the characters. But nevertheless, I LOVED IT!

    Love this story💕💕

This story is about a professor and student having a crush on each other. This insta love story was definitely good. I was hooked. Aaron is the professor. He is handsome, older, smart and successful. He is obsessed with his student. He's been patient so far until he snapped to go get her. Amy is the student. She is younger, beautiful, smart and sassy. She is crushing on Aaron so hard. She can't help herself. I love their journey to their happy ever after! Amazing work Gia Bailey!

This novella was...just okay. It could have been better if there was more context, more grit, and more substance to it. Otherwise, it was a bit dull and unappealing. All the reader got out of this story is that a professor saw a student, wanted her, went after her, claimed her, and then the story ended. It was another "wham, bam, thank you, ma'am" kind of story that just wasn't worth the time spent reading it.
