Can't Live Without You : The Moods of Love Reviews

I loved this book! Can't Live Without You was the second chance romance I didn’t know I needed. After she's betrayed by her ex and former BFF, Amara is taking a break from all things romance and focusing on herself. When Kenton realizes he messed up, he thought heavy handed tactics were the way to get Amara back. Hamilton pulled up and said, “Aht Aht!” Not on my watch! From the moment these two reconnect, their attraction was intense and their chemistry was off the charts. Hamilton let it be known right from the start, he was coming for Amara guns blazing until she agreed to give them a chance. I understood her hesitancy but, when a real man shows you who he is, believe him sis! Hamilton didn’t just talk the talk. He showed just how true his intentions and feelings were. That scene at the auction had me reaching out to the man above. “Lord, it’s me again. I’ve seen what you’ve done for others…..” LOL!!! I really enjoyed Can't Live Without You. I loved these characters and I wouldn't mind seeing more from them. Amara and Hamilton deserved more than a novella.

    Amara x Hamilton

This book was literally just a thought. It took me a little over an hour to read it. This couple deserve more, cause this wasn't a HEA. This was just a "Happy For Now". Just the beginning of thier journey. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. Meghan, girl you need to pick your bottom jaw of the floor.

I felt for Amara after dealing with that devastating betrayal and heartbreak! Then this fool Kenton has the nerve to storm up on her, and yolk her up! Hamilton to the rescue! After all these years, he was still crazy about Amara, and planned on claiming her this time! I understood her hesitancy, however, a "real" man shows you who he is! She just needed the courage to follow her heart! Hamilton was clear and very intentional with his feelings for Amara, and she almost lost out! I hope there is more with these characters, as I wondered why Kenton kept popping up; when he got a "whole" fiance lurking somewhere! 😂 Would love to know Amari and Kennedi's backstory as well.

    Short and sweet

Surviving a devastating heartbreak at the hands of both your ex dude and ex friend can cause some reluctance in pursuing love but a second chance to your childhood crush and best friend wrapped up in a man like Hamilton make the pursuit worthwhile. I know it was a short but I appreciate how it all wrapped up in the end. Watching how her ex crumbled as Amara moved on...priceless. As Q say in the movie "The Best Man", it's "karma baby".

    A determined man....

This was a quick-paced love but it was an established friendship. Kenton made the right move by cheating on Amara. He didn't deserve the caring and trusting person she was Hamilton did. Kenton was a sucker because he knew Hamilton had deep feelings for Amara and was planning on making her his lady. I liked Hamilton because once the opportunity knocked again for him to have Amara he went all in to get her. He was making some type of effort and/or gesture every day to portray his feelings toward her. The flowers he brought spoke volumes because they had a specific meaning which was tranquility and spirituality. He wanted to make sure he established both in their relationship. He did not want Amara to go through any more turmoil like Kenton had presented. Hamilton knew the type of person Amara was and what she would appreciate. He pulled out all the stops to make sure he solidify his love for her. He was slowly peeling away at the walls that were built up by Kenton around Amara's heart. In the final move, Hamilton sealed the deal and I know Amara and Kennedi were ecstatic.

I love a determined man that knows what and who he wants. Hamilton knew that Amara was "it" for him. He made sure she knew it as well. This is another masterpiece to add to the portfolio of "The Moods of Love" series. I highly suggest you get into it. It has just enough melodrama to keep you entertained while you are rooting on Hamilton and Amara.

    2nd Chance at Love

That was fun, light and hilarious. Amara and Hamilton were always meant to be, yet life happened.

I like that Hamilton came back with full force, applying all the pressure to get his one true love. He didn't get to tell his best friend that he wanted her heart when he was younger and to make matters worse, one of his supposed friends used him moving to take his girl. Oh, but karma has a way of coming full circle and now that his old friend and Amara's ex, Kenton, had officially messed up, Hamilton was free to get his woman once and for all.

Although I love that Hamilton wanted to show Amara just how much he cared, she wasn't ready and he was doing way too much too fast. I don't like that he was hurt by her admission, yet I'm glad he respected it. Oh, he was still getting his girl, he just had to wait a little while for her to heal properly.

Amara was done so wrong by her ex and ex-best friend. Then he had the nerve to try to mad bc he messed up. I'm glad she let him go and didn't look back. He did a number on her heart and I hate she let her past almost miss out on true love with Hamilton.

I love that her brother Amari and best friend Kennedi had her back. Amari needed lots of love and support so I'm glad she had them and their parents support as well. I'm glad she worked through her feelings and was open to really give Hamilton her heart. I can see these two lasting for a long time.

I need more on Kennedi and Amari, so I'll be on the lookout for their story.

This was a great read. Almost to the end of the series. On to the next book.

    quick and enjoyable

Amara and Hamilton reconnected at the most unexpected time. Amara wasn’t looking to start a relationship after dealing with her last one but Hamilton came through with that pressure! He put action behind his words and baby, who wouldn’t fall for a man like that? Kenton was the ultimate spoiled f@$kboy! I couldn’t stand him. I loved how Kennedi stood for who was right and not just blood ties. It was a quick, yet enjoyable read.

    Can’t Live Without You

Can we all have a Hamilton? He really swooped in at the perfect time and righted all the wrongs in the universe for Miss Amara! I love how Kennedi was a supportive friend even though her own brother was the offender. This was short and a fast paced love story!

    Can't Live Without You

Amara and Hamilton was a second chance romance that
I just loved. The distance and time spent apart was nothing compared to the love they shared. When he walked in the gala, I knew the love was signed, sealed and delivered forever. It was a short read but I truly enjoyed it.

    Issa rekindle #mood

This was a short and sweet read where Amara and Hamilton found their way back to each other. I understand Amaras hesitation after being hurt by love before. I liked Hamilton's determination to change her mind. I definitely need more because Kenton needs his azz whopped . Overall sweet read

    Awww

I'm a sucker for a second chance and Hamilton walked back into Amara's life at the perfect time. Keaton still needs that beat down he's owed because of all the stunts he pulled, but I'm so glad Amara let go of the insecurities her relationship with his ass left her with and decided that Hamilton was worthy of it all.

  • Carolyn

    Short and to the point

I like when a short love story gets to the point, rather than beating around the bush. Amara was it for Hamilton, and he made it his business to win his girl back... The story was short and could have had a little more fluffy stuff, but I'm good....

  • Monae Nicole

    Good read

Hamilton knew what he wanted and he applied pressure. Amara almost let her past stop her from experience true love. It was a quick read but it was good. I just need Kenton to get the beat down he deserves.

  • Candace

    Long lost love

Such a cute love story! You can't put an expiration date on true love that's for sure. What Amara and Hamilton thought was lost forever was waiting for them. The nerve of Kenton smh. Amara and Hamilton was indeed meant to be. Good read

  • Paula Jones

    great read

I love the relationship between Kenndi and amara. Hammie got his soulmate back and Kenton should have just accepted what he caused.

  • Nique

    left me wanting more

This was one of those short stories that leaves you wanting more. This was a good novella but I could see it being even better as a full length novel. Good job B.Moni!
