A screening of Jaws is more immersive than advertised - and far more dangerous. A new discovery promises pain to any who stumble across it. And a washed-up abomination really should have been left out to dry...
From ghost ships to monstrous ferry crossings, from eerie islands to creepy caves, this collection proves that not all of the ocean’s beasts lie beneath the waves.
All this and more in a monstrous collection of stories from T.L. Beeding, Chris Williams, Christopher Saylor, David R. Polsdorfer, Gregg V. Landry, Malina Douglas, Matt Bliss, Stephanie Kvellestad, Karen Lethlean, Nancy Schumann, Jay Sykes, Katie Marie, Rachel Nussbaum, Lisa Fox, and Shannon Frost Greenstein.
Don't forget: every penny of profit goes right to The Shark Trust, an organisation promoting the conservation and protection of sharks, skates and rays. Your support is hugely appreciated.

Just as good as first book of Dead Seas anthologies charity collection, I enjoyed mostly of tales collected here, and final one was just a grim cruel masterpiece for me.
Onward to book three! -
This is the second installment of this series and all the profits go to the Shark Trust to help conservation efforts for Sharks, skates and rays.
What better way to do that than with s touch of terror. Stories about ghost pirates, movies in the ocean, and crazy creature features. -
Not even remotely good. Some stories aren't even horror and none of them are worth reading.

Spooky stories of the sea
This second installment in the series was just as fun as the first. A few stories stand out in my mind. Eliza's Sorrow by Rachel Nussbaum was about a ghost ship with a lost soul who was making things right. Liquid Boundaries by Karen Lethlean is a story about a swimmer who likes to go for dangerous swims in the ocean in their free time. Fishing for Compliments by Nancy Schumann begins when a fisherman catches more than he bargained for and is dragged under the water. This one has a stellar first line that really caught my attention, "The wind played the empty window arches like an instrument, howling and whistling its own symphony into the grey sky." Fish Special by Lisa Fox. A marine biologist has an affair with a coworker and falls into bizarro world when she gets back to the job after breaking it off. This one was cooky and straight up bananas, I loved it. Great job by all of the authors and credits to Dead Sea Press on another great installment. -
Shadows beneath the surface - 3/5

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first instalment. I felt the stories in this anthology were very loose and were not finished satisfactorily. A lot of the time I wasn’t sure what I had read.
You can read about a ghost ship seeking revenge on military vessels in GREY GHOST. A nighttime showing of Jaws in the ocean goes terribly wrong in FLOAT-IN THEATRE. A great example of how no good deed goes unpunished in SALTY DOGS. INHALE. EXHALE. CLICK. - where the moral of the story is curiosity kills the cat. THE SEAWORMS tells a story of how something so harmless can be made dangerous just by mans polluting. The chilling tale of a river crossing in INFESTED WATERS. A pirate drawn to the darkness in ON A SEA OF SHADOWS. A strange haunting in THE INFAMOUS BERMUDA CAVERN. The tale of a swimmer who doesn’t seen to know about their own limitations in LIQUID BOUNDARIES. A strange underwater experience whilst fishing in FISHING FOR COMPLIMENTS. A unique type of siren drawing sailors to their deaths in LOPHIFORM. Read about an isolated island and a mysterious dead creature that washes up on shore in BEYOND THE SEA. The story of a vengeful (ghost) pirate in ELIZA’S SORROW. A young marine biologist hallucinates in FISH SPECIAL. A husband and pregnant wife go on holiday on a boat in NATALIE WOOD. -
I love the ocean and ocean based horror. This anthology was seemingly made for me. I enjoyed all the stories but connected to some more than others. One of my favorites was floating theater. I plan on buying the rest of the aquatic horror based anthologies dead sea press has put out,and the fact that all proceeds go to help sharks is fantastic.

A floating theatre showing of Jaws used to be on my bucket list. It's not anymore.
Horror anthologies have quickly become a staple in my reading. This collection did not disappoint! Thanks to these fine authors, not only is the water deadly, but so are boats, and beaches.
