I had the incredible privilege of being able to read the next instalment in the Price Manor Series early and I have to say Jay Alexander has out done himself here. I read this pretty much in one setting in like three hours, that’s how good it is.
If you’re a fan the pedal-to-the-medal style of The House That Burns or the historical backdrop of The House That Bleeds then you’ll love this. Jay combines both those elements here into a rip roaring tale set in the 17th century. It’s got a lot of action, a lot of scares and a staggering amount of heart. Be on the look out friends for your next favourite read. 😊 -
The third great book in the Price Manor series and it doesn't take long until they're in the house fighting for their lives.
I loved the gruesome imagery in this one and also the relationships between the group. I also liked the little nod to a fallen comrade about halfway through - you'll know it when you get there.
I did get to one bit and think "hang on, how did that happen", but it was soon revealed - and the twist at the end was great.
I can't help but wish this title began with a "B" though - Burns, Bleeds, maybe Breaks/Battles? Then the next 3 could be something else.
Oh yes, as "Price Manor will return..."
I am completely hooked on this series and will definitely be buying the future books when they come out - I hope they keep this beautiful artwork too.

The third installment of the PRICE MANOR series finds a war-torn group of soldiers seeking refuge in the house that suddenly appeared on the battlefield. They soon find out that it is not the safe haven it appeared to be.
Alexander writes with confidence, giving you believable characters, crisp settings, and horrifically vivid descriptions of the violence and gore that ensues. He lets his imagination run rampant within the walls of Price Manor, and there are some truly chilling and horrifying scenes that gave me pause. My favorite scenes were those featuring the Family or the Butcher, and of course, Nick Harper himself.
This isn't just an outright bloodfest, though there certainly is enough of that to satisfy. There is humor, heart, symbolism, and cunning twists that will surely make this for you what it was for me: an unputdownable read. -
Another great installment in the Price Manor series. Jay Alexander's prose is beautifully descriptive and detailed, bringing forward not only the horrors humans do to one another but also horrors beyond our imagination. As a continuation of the series I found this book as a more in depth exploration of the house and its creatures, less gory but more so psychological.
Congrats to Jay and everyone envolve. A must read! -
Price Manor 3
This is book 3 in the Price Manor Saga, and wow this one is wrapped around a war, and what you would be able to sacrifice to get out alive.
