Hawk
When my team called, I answered,
But I didn’t know the cost.
I didn’t know I would lose everything,
My fiancée, my best friend, my future...
All for a lie.
Hannah was my world.
And trusting the wrong people shattered my world.
Her father is hunting her.
My team is hunting him.
But I found her first.
I’ll protect her no matter what,
But can she forgive me for leaving her years ago?

Hannah
When his team called, he answered,
Leaving me to fend for myself.
I thought I’d lost everything,
But one gift remained…
All thanks to a lie.
Hawk was mi cielo,
But trusting him darkened my sky.
Now my father is hunting me.
Only I couldn’t outrun Hawk.
He found me first.
No matter what, I have to protect us,
But can he forgive me for that night years ago?

    Perfection personified!

I loved Hawks and Hannah’s story so much. Fast paced action adventure, that will literally grip you from page one, until the HEA. Not only do we get to feel all of Hannah’s emotions as we she comes to terms with who her father really is, but we get to fall more in love with the stoic boss man who has protected her at all cost, even his own happiness.

I couldn’t get enough of their second chance love, but seeing all the others relationships continue to bloom, made me extremely happy. Nora is still a firecracker, and my fav!

Run to read this, but be sure to clear your schedule, you won’t be able to do anything else while you devour this one!

It's so much more than I expected. I can't believe this series of over. I didn't want to stop reading. So much happening. Fast paced. All the emotions. A perfect ending to this incredible series.

The absolute perfect ending to this series!!! I’ve read these in order as they released and the progress and growth ALL of these characters have gone through is AMAZING. This series could not be more perfect. Everyone got a HEA, all the loose ends were tied up, and the 10 year bonus epilogue gave me all kinds of happy feelings!!!

All I can say is HAWK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Full confession: while I normally devour Greer's books the day they release, I couldn't bring myself to do that with Leading Conviction. Truthfully I was dreading reading it because I knew that my favorite series would officially have ended and I'd have to say goodbye to these characters that I've come to view as friends. Fortunately for me, I got over the procrastination relatively quickly and got to enjoy this final installment. It was everything I had hoped for and so much more. This book answers questions I've had since almost the first chapter of Escaping Conviction, Hannah is the perfect partner for Hawk (or should I say that he's the perfect one for her?) and the satisfaction you feel once the bad guys are brought to their knees made the wait for this story worth it. My only wish is that I could go back and re-read this series for the first time.

The last book for Greer Rivers Conviction Series, Leading Conviction was just as much as a delight as the first, and answered the last few questions I had lingering in the back of my mind.

Hawk and Hannah are a sweetheart of a couple to witness their reunification, even though it does start out with quite a bang, pretty much the same way their separation did ten years ago.

I was enraged at what I still see as Eagles deception and usury of his friend, I can't imagine having made the same decision if I were in the same place, and I believe that it affected decisions Eagle made for his entire team well into their future as "MF7".

Hawk is such a good man, and the trickery played on him early on by the "General" led him to make decisions he believed would keep Hannah safe, but in the end only propelled her into running for her life early on with no one to help her.

It is hard to read his depression, and anger at himself, and his best friend, once he finds out the depths of his betrayal of Hannah, and I was not at all surprised to learn he had kept himself separate - waiting on her inevitable return.

Hannah is amazing! Even after she learned of the Generals complete betrayal, both as a child and an adult when he tricked Hawk into abandoning her, her ability to forgive Hawk shows such grace and love - I was stunned.

Hannah's strength to work with Norah and Callie to keep hunting the General in spots she would remember is awe inspiring, and just made me love her all that much more!

There is so much more in Leading Conviction, but saying anything else would give away huge portions of not only this book, but also the series. Leading Conviction ends the series perfectly, and the epilogue was pure perfection!! Everyone ends up satisfied, and no one walks away without getting exactly what they deserve!

I give Leading Conviction, and the series 5 out of 5 stars, and I'd give the whole series 10 stars if I could. Greer Rivers has hit a home run for sure!!

This is it. This is the last of the Conviction series. I have been following this series since the second book, and I became an ARC reader for it on the third one. It has been one emotionally charged journey that has been so well worth it.
    As usual SPOILERS:

The way everything finishes out in this book with all of our questions answered was amazing. There was much more plot and storyline than spicy scenes, which made the few spicy scenes in the book somehow so much better and just amplified the plot. I was happy with it anyways.
TO THE BOOK: In the previous Conviction's we only got snippets of Hawk. He was very closed off, guarded. Very much the grumpy in a grumpy and sunshine. In this, though we see how his view has changed. All the information that has come to life in the previous books has really affected Hawk.
Like with the rest of the Conviction Series, our third-person POV is actually Eagle. I personally loved it. Given that Eagle is someone we never got to meet, due to the fact that he is dead, we got to in this one. We got to see why Eagle made the decision he did, and how everything happened that led the Blackstone guys to where they are now.
I cried at the end. Seriously there was a line, and I immediately messaged Greer about it because it made me cry. It was the perfect ending to this series in my own opinion.

I don’t have words for this one

The ending of a series is always a touch bittersweet, but with this series in particular it just hit a little different.

Hawk has been such a steady force throughout these books and the other couple’s journeys and finally getting a look into the inner workings of his mind and seeing what he has to leave behind, then everything that comes out after as well. He was the rock all throughout and he only grew in his strength during the story. This doesn’t mean he’s hard and rigid, his strength comes in the way he’s able to process and show his emotions to Hannah and help her through hers.

Hannah. Baby girl Hannah. I want to just wrap her in a warm blanket and keep her safe and feed her warm soup and drinks. Her story is rough and, they all go through a lot, but Hannah’s is on a different level given where her trauma comes from and who inflicted it on her. Seeing how she not only has to come to the realization of what had happened to her but also that Hawk is still very well and alive.

Their love and their story was rough but it’s strong and I just love them completely.

This one holds a special place in my heart as Greer gave me the amazing opportunity to help as a sensitivity reader given Hannah’s background and being half Latina. I owe the biggest thanks to her for it, it was a real treat.

Wow! Wow, is all I can say about this book!!! I'm blown away by everything I just read!

I'm emotionally wrecked by this one but man was it so worth it! The author definitely ended this with everything nicely tied up and answered from the previous ones.

Ugh I'm so sad it's over but feel completely content with it all. I honestly loved every emotional high and low in this one. It's a must read for sure!!! So many twists along the way that finally get answered. Get ready for Hawk and Hannah to get their ending!

These characters have been through a ton and with every catastrophic event hurled at them makes you love them even more.

This was such an amazing series from start to finish and everyone needs to grab it and be pulled into this amazing world that Greer has built. It's addictive, heartbreaking, with so many emotional components that just makes it a unputdownable book. I had the pleasure of reading this one early and it's one of my all time favorites. Grab this this book if you have read the rest of the series and if not don't wait go grab it and get lost in this phenomenal series now!!!

    EPIC finale

The Conviction Series by Greer Rivers has been a top read of 2022 for me.... I was patiently anticipating Hawk’s book and I have to say Greer didn't disappoint and this was an EPIC finale... even though story wraps up "loose ends" I have to say this may have been the most hardest for me! I love all the Blackstone boys but Hawk.... omg he has my heart.
Hawk n Hannah's story was emotional and hell on wheels. Why you ask?...
I'll simply say: read the book! (From book 1 because their interconnected and tell a full length story....

The writing for this book and all of the ones in the series was impeccable; everything flowed from plot to answers to twists....this was one journey I loved so much and I'll be rereading!
All the emotions and heart break that Hawk and Hannah went through; he did what he did out of love and protection.

    You've gotta read this series!
    Greer you rock babe!

Leading Conviction is the sixth and final book in the Conviction series, and could not have had a better ending to a brilliant and well thought out series. Hawk and Hannah’s story has been a long time coming with the anticipation hinted in all the previous books, for those who connected the pieces. This book was a plot twist and tore at my heart in the most incredible ways with everything Hawk and Hannah had endured, both together and apart. Everything is finally revealed and concluded with MF7, BlackStone and the General. We receive the answers to piece together the whole puzzle and get the closure that everyone so desperately deserves to finally move on and start their lives, happily ever after.

Greer rounds out the series with a bang

I’ve loved this series from the very beginning. Greer has quite the background with legal issues, mental health, and she handles it all flawlessly.
Hawk and Hannah were separated right before MF7 really went big with their missions. Hawk believed he was keeping Hannah safe from traffickers but didn’t realize who he really had to keep her safe from. Hannah though, being the boss babe she is, made sure to keep herself safe. Doing whatever necessary. Especially when it came to her sons safety.
Years after hawk left, he is able to find Hannah. They reconnect and Hannah is able to help the Blackstone group to get to the head of the trafficking ring; her very own father!
Twists and turns occur but Hawk and Hannah get their happily ever after, like all the blackstone men. They all truly deserve their HEA.

  • Sam

Couldn't have asked for a better series I never wanted to end. Greer knocked it out of the park to give Hawk and Hannah their chance to get their HEA, while also wrapping up the overall story so well.

I couldn't wait to see what type of FMC could steal the heart of such a serious and focused man like Hawk and Hannah surely didn't disappoint. She was all the soft to his hard, while also being fierce, protective and a survivor.

    *SLIGHT SPOILER*
I also loved to see the flashback and integral part of the story from Eagle's POV. It felt right and important to the overall story to see how all of the original MF7 became the men they are in the series.

The books in this series are considered standalone, however they are all following the same backstory and you gain more information with each book in the series, so it is better to start with book 1.

  • Ariel

Hannah and Hawk’s story pulled so many emotions from me. Their heartbreak and pain was portrayed with so much depth and intensified as each chapter revealed the level of evil that was behind it all.
And the multiple POVs had the story flowing perfectly as I got to see the thoughts and reasoning behind each characters actions, answering all the questions that came to mind.

This series has been intense and cryptic from the first book and this final part filled in all the missing pieces while throwing in a few more twists and turns to keep the suspense solid until the end.

An amazing series to read from start to finish, flawlessly connecting so many themes and giving all of the amazing couples their deserved happily ever afters ❤️

  • Carlie Drury

To say I loved this book would be a serious understatement. The entire Conviction series has a special place in my heart but reading the conclusion wrapped everything up in the best way possible. Not only did all of my favorite people get their HEA but the small details I was dying for all along finally came out. This book was an emotional rollercoaster and I wish I could read it again for the first time. The Blackstone guys finally face off with The General, we finally learn what really happened in Yemen and Hawke finally gets his very own HEA. I can’t recommend this book and this series enough. Greer has written an absolutely amazing series and taken us all on a whirlwind adventure. Thank you for letting us get to know the Blackstone crew Greer.

  • Lili

The thought that such a high-ranking officer could maybe get away with such acts of horror and become almost unstoppable is chilling, it makes my skin crawl. Someone who has the power of life and death over o many others... how did he pass his psychological tests so many years? How did he take a job which is about honor and duty and pervert it to such a degree? It's frightening.....

The writing is as good as always, and the love story is about second chances and a love of a lifetime, the one where nobody else can exist as perfect and pure. A nice happy-end to a series where we met a lot of torment and suffering, and the blessing of redemption.

I have dreaded having to write this review because that means the Conviction series is complete and that makes me sad!

This book however...lawd when I tell you it had me in my feelings.. all the feelings! I knew Hawk's story would be hard to read but the added emotion of learning more about their fallen brother Eagle was tough. This book, much like the other 4 in the series, did not disappoint.

Make sure you read the whole Conviction series - You won't regret it!

I am not sure why it took me so long to get this one read. Once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. Hearing the full story of MF7 and putting all the pieces together was thrilling. Greer is such an amazing storyteller and weaves all the pieces together so beautifully. You can't help but root for all her couples to make it through. The final story of the series was Hawk and Hannah and what a heartbreaking yet truly beautiful love story! Plus her epic love scenes. Don't miss out on these two!

  • Julie

    Absolutely amazing series!

This whole series was amazing. Each book was better than the one before! They were so hard to put down! I loved all the characters for different reasons. One of them kind of irritated me a bit but she wasn't a main character in this story. I'm not one to get emotional when reading books, but with this one I smiled, I teared up a bit, even found myself holding my breath once or twice. Lots of action/suspense and passion/romance.. could not recommend more! Quickly becoming one of my favorite authors!
