Tempest is the second book of three in The Charlington Chronicles. This is a full length reverse harem, meaning the main character will end up with at least three of her love interests. This book contains graphic sexual scenes, strong language, problems with mental health and the mention of the darker side of society. But most of all, it’s got a lot of unnecessary jokes. Don’t say I haven’t warned you.

    Action filled sequel. Everything always becomes worse before it can get better, and that's definitely the case in this book. If you thought a stalker is bad, the news from Joe is worse. Curious to see it al resolved in the next book.

    Tempest is het tweede deel van the Charlington chronicles trilogie. Het is een Engelstalige serie. Reversed harem, spanning, humor en natuurlijk ook intieme scenes die voor nog wat extra hitte zorgen.

    Nu Morgan en haar jongens weer moeten dealen met hun stalker, wordt het leven interessant. Continue met elkaar zijn en niks kunnen doen zorgt voor spanning. En ze gaan er elk op hun eigen manier mee om. Tot op een gegeven moment nieuwe problemen opduiken.

    Raken ze er allemaal zowel geestelijk en lichamelijk intact uit?

    Kris houd je letterlijk op het puntje van de stoel op alle vlakken. Ze weet je ook te verrassen met een plot die je niet verwacht.

    Echte must reads voor die wat van dit genre houd. Ik in ieder geval kan weer niet wachten om met het derde deel te beginnen. Ook hier weer, ondanks dat het Engels is is ook deze weer vlot te lezen. Ook voor mensen die zoals mij enkel Engels kennen van tv en muziek.

    After finishing "Roots", I decided to just keep on devouring this series... "Tempest" is the second book in The Charlington Chronicles, and focuses on relationship development together with a more suspenseful storyline. Even the small village life can't protect Morgan and her men from stalkers, blackmail and so many more things happening within and around them.

    In Tempest everything picks up a notch compared to book one: the suspense, the action, the spice, the relationship building, the feelings, ... I really love the relationship these characters are finding with each other, and how much it feels like a true family. I never thought I could enjoy a harem this much without there being any trouble between the men at all. I'm looking forward to see what the final book will bring!
