GIA
I may be a mafia princess, but I have bigger plans than to stay in this sheltered world.
I’m in Milan to pursue my dreams as a fashion designer. Having an affair is the last thing on my mind, except he’s handsome and charming and Italian. In other words, he’s irresistible.
What’s the harm in having a little fun?
ENZO
Years of work, my family, and almost my life—all stolen from me. For four years I rebuilt my empire, plotting in secret, planning to make him suffer as I suffered.
When the perfect weapon drops into my lap, who am I to say no?
Except Gia doesn’t seem to mind my darkness. She likes it, even welcomes it.
I can’t let her distract me, no matter how much I want her. No matter the fire that burns hot between us. I’ll have her—and then I’ll break her.
If she expects mercy, she’ll be disappointed. I’m no hero. I’m a ruthless king, born to be the villain.

Coming August 2022.
This book is a standalone, but it’s better if you read Mafia Mistress and Mafia Darling first!

4 Mafia Smut Stars
I originally wanted to give this three stars...but then realized I was judging it too harshly. Book one in this series was such a surprise hit for me the year I read it and I've kept comparing the subsequent book reads to that experience. I still stand by my lower review of book two, but I definitely enjoyed this one more than that.
Did I love it as much as book one? No. But that's okay. This was solid mafia smut for smut's sake and that's what I want from this series anyway. I can see myself liking this even more upon a re-read. Looking forward to the next one. -
Y'all are really out here reading this for the plot, huh? Fine. You're far more sophisticated than I am. Don't drop your monocle on the way out. I'm giving the 300 pages of yacht sex 5 stars.
-
Omg!! I can't wait. I have so many questions!!. For Gia and Enzo to be ship...Does that mean Enzo got a divorce during the four years timeframe? where are his kids?is he still involved with his mistress Mariella? Is he still in Napoli and how did he evade Fuasto and death for so long? Did Gia remember on sight that Enzo was the man who was in the dungeon or later on down? I'm so intrigued.
-
Mafia Madman is mad. In a good way. Good thing Gia is not OTT dramatic. I like the explosive chemistry between Gia and Enzo. These two are crazy together.
Miss Finelli fiy hits the right note with this sexy, dirty and kinky story. Even though I prefer there is still bad blood between Fatzo and Enzo to make the plot more twisted.
Overall a very steamy romance.
4 stars -
We love a mafia boss kidnapping the heroine and keeping her on his yacht 👏🏻
-
Mafia Madman is the 3rd book in the Kings of Italy series and my favorite in the series so far! Not only does the villain get his story, but the chemistry in this one is amazing! Both the hero and the heroine of this book we met in the first 2 books of the series, as well as all the side characters.
Gia is living in Milan, Italy and interning at a fashion house. She has dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and after her sister Frankie’s marriage to a mafia boss in the previous book, Gia convinced their father to let her leave Canada and come to Italy too. While working, Gia, always the rebellious sister, uses a fake last name. When a model isn’t available and Gia has to step in for a private showing for an investor, she ends up catching the eye of Enzo. Enzo immediately recognizes Gia and knows she’d be the perfect part of his revenge plan against her sister and brother-in-law. He convinces Gia to go out with him and after an explosion and kidnapping, Gia finds herself being held captive on Enzo’s yacht!
This was such a good time and I loved seeing Gia and Enzo fall for one another and really connect. This has “touch her and you die” vibes (he literally says it), their chemistry is electric, we get great enemies-to-lovers banter, forced proximity, hate banging, primal play, humiliation kink, degradation, praise kink, and an age gap (she’s 20, he’s 38). The captor/captive situation in this and how he wants to use her as revenge definitely backfires on him when he realizes Gia gives just as good as she gets and soon Enzo finds himself falling for his locked-up captive. While most of the time is spent on his yacht, we do get some mafia action in here quite a bit and even some family time…her with her sisters, and him with his brothers and his 2 children. I loved the sneak peek of Giulio’s book, Mafia Target, which comes out next spring!
Thank you to Candi Kane PR for an e-ARC. All thoughts in this review are my own. Mafia Madman has a release date of August 9, 2022. -
2.5⭐
*sighs*
This was so lame.
Enzo had a petty rivalry with the Ravazzani and proceeded to kidnap the man's sister-in-law and keep her in a cage just how he was confined when the Ravazzani guy held him hostage.
Enzo fucked Gianna.
He fell in love.
The end.
I'm sorry but it was so boring not even the smut could make it up for it and believe me it could because Gianna had a piercing down there.
If Mila fucks up the next book.
I will literally riot because the sneak peek was so beautiful i will cry

This series is just SO fun. Enzo was possessive af and Gia was so hot and absolutely had zero patience for his BS. I love that she wasn’t the stereotypical innocent “captive”, she held her own and THEN SOME. they were so hot together and i love that he kept breaking all of his own rules for her and basically all she had to do was breathe. what a queen. this one felt a little less plot heavy, and anytime there was some kind of issue or potential danger, it worked itself out pretty easily, so maybe got my heart rate going a little less than the others but you won’t hear me complaining about not being stressed during a book. these two definitely fell hard and fast and a lot happened in the last 20% but honestly i had fun from start to finish and that’s all that matters to me. -
Mila Finelli has become one of my absolute favourite authors when it comes to writing the Mafia trope. This is my third book I’ve read from her and it didn’t disappoint. She captures the luxurious lifestyle of the mafia so well while also keeping her mobsters gritty and dangerous. Chefs kiss 💋

This was definitely a spicy Romance. Enzo was mad alright. Mad for Gia.
His idea of revenge is a but fuzzy to me, but since it's only a device to get Gia on his yacht, who cares?
I always felt like Fausto made his own bed in this regard. I know Enzo went too far in Mafia Mistress, but Fausto paid it back 10x and absolutely DESTROYED him.
And since we don't see and POV from Frankie or Fausto it's hard to even tell what the damage is to that family. Oh well!
Things are spicy and kinky on the boat! Gia is FIERCE and smart and I think she does her best when faced with this Psycho. Yup, she gets hot for him, but it doesn't make her stupid. Which I appreciated.
I was missing out on more of the connection I wanted. There were only like 2 heart to heart moments or else it was all smut holding them together.
She has a hood piercing... BTW.. and I fucking LOVED that. Piercings are never used enough in my opinion. Bahahaha!
Anyway, great time all around and I can't wait for book 4.

“Because you are as fucked up as I am. Dirty and twisted, like me.”
Thanks Finelli raising my standards, I won't settle for anyone unless they praise me in Italian. That's it.
I was so excited to get to Mafia Madman because it was Enzo's book and I knew this man was about to be more unhinged than he already was.
Since this is a dark romance, I'll try to turn a blind eye to what I think is born out of Stockholm syndrome.
But again, it's a Mafia romance and there are a lot of questionable actions in it. These are not men you would willingly look for in real life, if I met either Enzo or Fausto in real life I'd be running the other way, fly to another country and change my name and nationality.
Gia was the Star of the book. She's fiesty, she's fun, and she's so resilient despite being placed in a literal cage.
That was why the chemistry between her and Enzo was so fiery and intense. It was a mix of hate and lust that eventually developed into love.
The chemistry was off the roof. It was freaking hot.
Unsurprisingly, I liked Enzo much more than Fausto and I think that's because Enzo had multiple layers to him and he was such a complex character and that's what I loved. I didn't have to agree with his actions and he was cruel to Gia during many scenes in the book, but I kind of understood why he acted that way.
The man was tortured and suffered PTSD as a result of what Fausto subjected him—Enzo was a broken shell of a man for years ago, now he is a creature filled with wrath and revenge.
What did this story an injustice was 95% of it took place on a yacht in the middle of the ocean and I expected much more action in Enzo's book and it's such a shame because the author establishes her mfia world so well. I think Enzo and Gia should've gotten a duet.
I think I'll also settle for a 3.5 for this one. I look forward to get to Giulio's book at some point he's one of my favorite characters from the series.
Content warnings: this book features dark and graphic content including kidnapping, drugging, dubious consent, violence, slut-shaming, PTSD. -
ok but who needs duo lingo when you have italian dark mafia romance heroes to teach you all the dirty words 🤷🏽♀️
-
Enzo was definitely a mad man and the only one who could calm him down or rile him up was the feisty Gia. These two were so much fun. Fantastic chemistry and they gave me what I wanted when it comes to banter and pushing one another. Gia was rebellious and didn’t back down from Enzo. They both tried to play one another but it slowly evolved to more than just being a game and steamy sex.
Enzo’s story arc was the most interesting one because of what had transpired in the previous books so his redemption was well earned.
Gia’s upbringing certainly played a role in why she was a rebellion and chose the men she did so that was good to get a deeper insight to.
These two just delivered the steam! Phew!
This series keeps its high quality with Mafia Madman and I’m excited for what Finelli will give us next with Guilio’s story. I’m all for it. -
was this just a fucked up fuck fest? yeah…yeah it was :) PLEASE CHECK TW!! there’s a lot and it’s very very very fucked up 🤠✌️
I really thought Gia was gonna give me an empowered women and be this tough chick and she was for the first 35% of this book and then…she fell back into the normal boring woman in mafia books!
Did i like the main characters? uh not a lot, gia was alright…enzo was questionable💀
I love the drama and the angst, i was uncomfy in some parts but yolo i guess🤠✌️
I really really really thought this was okay. There was a lot of back and forward of the same realisations over and over which was kind weird tbh…
anyways it was good okay! DONT COME FOR ME #darkromance

*ARC review for my honest opinion*
OH MY GAWD ITS HAPPENING. I’m making a book my whole personality.
I love Enzo & Gia. The relationship between the two was so amazing. This book was incredibly spicy! We got a bit more in-depth look with Enzo than we did in the first two books and don’t come for me but Enzo out ranks Fausto in my eyes.
Tropes
- Enemies to Lovers
- Mafia
- Kidnapping h
- Protective Alpha lead
Safety
- kidnapping
- NO OW drama
- NO OM drama
- Cheating? Enzo does get a blowjob from another woman but they hated each other at this moment. Or at least Gia the h did, Enzo couldn’t stop thinking of Gia. I’m sensitive when it comes to this stuff but it really didn’t bother me this time. -
"The civilized man from before no longer existed. Now I was inhuman, a creature filled with hate and revenge."
Enzo, the kidnapper from the previous books, is totally pissed. Which for anyone means really angry but for Italian Mafiosos like Enzo it means, I'm going to hang you by the dangly bits or better yet, kidnap your sister-in-law and keep her naked in a cage. On a yacht. In the middle of the ocean.
I was unreasonably delighted by the locked-in cage part (don't judge me 🫣) I think partly because Gia was such a ballbuster and also because it was kinda sexy (the cage plays a part later).
So begins this enemies to lovers, forced proximity, only-one-cage boink fest. Enzo is determined to use Gia as an instrument for his revenge. He thinks humiliating and torturing her like he was by Fausto would be the perfect revenge (don't look too deeply into his reasoning lol). Except Gia is a very uncooperative captive and is not afraid of him. She baffles him and makes him horny. Eventually, she gets struck with the hornies too and strikes a sex bargain with him thinking to manipulate him with sex into freeing her. Enzo thinks destroying her by rocking her world with hate sex will somehow be better revenge. Look, it doesn't have to make sense, it only has to set my pants on fire and my heart aflutter. And it did that beautifully.
"A little more than a week with him and I was already dick drunk."
Girl. Same.
Anyway, as any seasoned romance reader knows using the heroine as an instrument of revenge never works the way it's supposed to for the hero. After some great angry sex, Enzo realizes his dead black mangled heart isn't so dead or mangled after all. To his dismay, Gia is the only one that calms his anxiety and cures his insomnia 🥹 His obvious PTSD, although not addressed as such, is better with her around.
If you've read Mafia Mistress/Darling you know that this author writes bonkers plots with an unhinged feral joy that I find addicting. Mafia Madman is no different. There aren't any redemption arcs here and no perfect characters. Enzo is psycho when the book begins and he's a psycho but just in love when the book ends. The war between Fausto and Enzo is still on and there was no real resolution to that but it also made sense. I would have hated for them to suddenly become Mafia bros. There is no tying everything up with a perfect bow. But the end was still oh so satisfying. The steam is steamy. There's consensual nonconsent, rough sex, praise kink, humiliation kink, and probably a few other kinks I'm spacing on. There's a lot of violence and a Mike Tyson moment 👂(iykyk) that was so bananas I couldn't stop laughing. This is definitely not for the faint of heart or those with pearls they like to clutch. But for anyone who wants to take a chance, it's a sexy, wild ride with an irredeemable villain and some quality smut. Even though I enjoyed myself immensely reading this book, I would have liked to see more relationship development and more tender moments where she anchors him. But I can only follow the feels o meter and it is telling me this one is a keeper.
Tropes:
Age gap
Forced Proximity
Enemies to Lovers
Tortured hero
Thanks to the author for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Started off great. This had so much potential to be another favorite from Mila Finelli. But it just lost me half way in when all the hero and heroine did was hate fuck and get each other off with zero emotional connection in between. The cat and mouse game took up too much of the book and left me feeling hot and cold. Their feelings just happen out of the blue, it didn't feel gradual. They share maybe 2 meaningful conversations between all the sex and that's it. The heroine Gia suddenly is softening after the hero Enzo (her captor) tells her a story about putting a band-aid on his daughter's knee and she's weak at the knees. That's it. Seriously? That's all we get? We do get a rescue scene before that where she almost drowns trying to escape his yacht but that's pretty much it. They have chemistry but I wasn't entirely sold on them falling in love because we barely see it. She starts to feel things for him because he has a big dick and she loves rough dirty sex. I'm sorry but kinky sex doesn't = love to me. 🤷🏻♀️ I'm not even offended by the sexacapes and degradation that happens here, I just need you to sell me on the emotional thread underneath all that. That one scene where she wakes him up from a nightmare and soothes him through a panic attack was probably the one emotional scene in the entire book. I loved that scene and I wanted a little more moments like that in the second half. Gia kept saying how both of them are "fucked up" which makes them perfect for each other (I really hate when authors do this, it's such a cop out) like that somehow cancels stuff out. I wasn't buying it. The ending pretty much brought that home for me when the heroine didn't want to meet his kids *yet* and asked him to put it off. She's not the maternal type clearly but it didn't help convince this reader they are a forever type of love. That scene of them picking up his kids from boarding school at the end did not give me the warm fuzzies (and neither did that epilogue). Why give your hero kids when he rarely sees them? (there's a legitimate reason for this but....still. It really bugged me and hard to ignore.) I was wondering why the heroine didn't meet the hero's kids till the very end and I got my answer when the heroine reveals she doesn't want kids. He already got 2 from his first wife so boom! done. Problem solved. lol
This book just felt like smut. Very hot smut which I enjoyed for the most part, but smut nonetheless. Which frustrates me because the hero Enzo made for a compelling anti-hero. Enzo D'Agostino definitely is a scene stealer. He's so cunning, ruthless and smart and I found that sexy. I normally love stockholm syndrome stories but you gotta give me more when your hero is a sociopath Mafia don who kidnapped the heroine and chains her up on his yacht and has sex with her as revenge. There is a 18 year age gap here but honestly you don't feel it given how the heroine carries herself. She's nobody's damsel. Gia is the "wild" Mancini bad girl who speaks her mind and doesn't like to be told what to do. She's not my favorite type of heroine but I respected how smart and fearless she was. Finelli is really good at writing emotionally intelligent characters. That fearlessness did have her doing/saying some stupid stuff but I liked her vulnerability (I personally could have done without that little anecdote about her seducing her teacher when she was 16 like she was proud of it 🥴). She's not for everyone that's for sure. Also I have to say Gia's older sister Frankie is absolutely ridiculous. Your grown ass getting kidnapped justifies your husband kidnapping his enemy's little kids from their beds at gunpoint for revenge?? WTF? Is this woman okay in the head? I didn't read Frankie's book but this honestly put me off her with how she acted so horrified and judgemental in this. And calling your younger sister a "bitch" who just came back from captivity and nursing a broken heart for simply calling you out on your hypocrisy doesn't endear me to you either. Frankie's hypocrisy was insane. -

ARC READ
I anticipated this book and it ended up being as awesome as I expected it to be!!!! I was entertained, thrilled and super smutted up!!! Hehe -
Mila Finelli is the new queen of dark mafia romance- and I am ADDICTED to this series! The alpha anti-heroes, the mafia dangers, the sassy heroines, the dirty talk and STEAM and all that angsty chemistry. I just can't get enough. Mafia Madman held me completely captive- the pages radiating heat and tension. It’s seductive, its intense, it’s DELICIOUS. Enzo was everything I wanted- and then some more. I’m a goner for this series, this man, this love story.
Mila had me nervou though. Overly obstinate, spitfire just to be spitfire heroines are not my jam- and I just knew that Gia would be MORE than a handful as a heroine. And Enzo- well he’s the villain. Sure, I had some empathy for him in book 2 as he was tortured and humliated, but his enemies were my dearest couple, and Enzo had been very naughty trying to take on my daddy Fausto. But there was a real spark of humanity that mattered- Mila intentionally giving us a glimpse into him to warm us to him as a leading man. But still, could I root for and adore this man? Especially when the romantic element in this story was shaping up to be a bit darker than the one before?
But Mila did. Oh lordy did she do it. Somehow Enzo stole my whole heart, perhaps even more than Fausto- GASP, I know. But this man is complicated and ruthless and broken and vulnerable and twisted and heart touching all at once. He’s the perfect anti-hero- the broken villain with the right dash of charm and swoon. I’m ashamed to admit how quickly I was lusting after him- even when he’s cruel and deplorable. The very not sexy kind of kidnapping treatment. His plans for Gianna do not earn him any points, but Il Pazzo emerges- and his irresistible chemistry with Gia literally steams off the page.
And Gia, well Mila gives her more substance than the one dimensional spitfire heroine we sometimes get in mafia stories. Oh she’s stubborn, willful, a fighter true and true who doesn’t know when to keep her mouth closed. BUT, she’s also cunning, clever, compassionate and caring. She’s got layers and dynamics that make her interesting as a heroine, a balance of strength and softness, of emotive expression and stoic resolve. I found myself connected to her in ways I hadn’t anticipated, even if her temper rivals Enzo’s.
A palpable pull, an intense energy evolves, and soon begrudging respect rises between them. And the respect evolves into a hesitant friendship of sorts- certainly not one equal in power, but something gentle. Gia learns that the savage mafia madman has a big guarded heart that beats for a precious few- and that his transgressions against Fausto may be a matter of perspective. And, this obstinate girl learns she likes to submit, be a little bit degraded, when it’s in the arms of a man worthy of her, that she loves. And her submission as much as her fire melt the walls around Enzo’s heart. But there are SO many obstacles between them, including a few twists and unexpected moments.
AND THE SPICE. I was all clean-up-on-aisle-my-panties over the prior books, but this one was somehow even steamier, a bit kinkier too since our dark, mysterious mafia man likes to bring a little of the dark edge into his bedroom play with his captive. And Enzo’s dirty mouth- PHEW. But he’s also got a tender heart that has me swooning- this man melts hearts and panties, and what a triumph! Mila took a character I didn’t even know if I could root for and now i’m desperate for more moments in his mind.
We get to check-in with some of our favorites along the way- and meet some great new characters I hope we see again. I was surprised to see what story we’re getting next- and I can’t wait to see where Mila takes it. But, even more so, I’m so excited to see the most delicate and sweet sister’s story- I can not wait to see who Mila pairs her with and who just will dirty her up. LOVE LOVE this series- I’m a total ho for Mila’s mafia men. -

🟪 Ennemies to lovers
🟪 Age gap (H is 38, h is 20)
🟪 Morally Grey/ villain Hero
Mafia Madman is the third installment in the King of Italy series. It can theoretically be read like a standalone but the first two books are kind of fundamental to understand the Hero and the relationship between the characters so I definitely advise to read the duet before.
I think I loved this one as much as the first one, if not even more!
I always love to see a villain/antagonist become the main character in his own book, and I was not disappointed at all by Enzo who was the perfect antihero.
🟢 Great chemistry and banter between the MCs
🟢 The spice and dirty talk was perfect, the author really had a talent for this 😁
🔴 Giana was a little annoying, the line between sassy/snarky and insufferable is always very thin .
At the same time she was pretty funny , I liked her but not one of my favorites characters.

Whew this was a very anticipated release for me and it did not let me down one bit.
The moment we met Gia in her sisters story I knew this woman would be a bad ass and that she fucking was. Getting to read this story was very exciting watching Enzo redeem himself as the villain in the previous stories. Y’all know I’m a sucker for the morally grey alpha male but Enzo was just so easy to love not to mention he has the single dad thing going on for him.
The power dynamics and push and pull between these two was addicting. Their banter was hilarious and the sexual tension was STRONG. I sat down and read this in one sitting and enjoyed every bit of the ride. The relationship on the emotional side was a bit of a slow burn but the sexual tension broke very fast so who am I to complain.
Also can we talk about the fact that Gia has her kewchie pierced? Can I get more of that please? Also the spice and dirty talk in here was at a higher level than books 1 & 2 and I really don’t know how she managed to top that. I’m so excited to get to the next book I know my heart might just burst then.
I know I know y’all want to know did Gia & Enzo beat Fausto & Frankie and my answer is this: they are in two different lanes with two different dynamics so I can’t compare the two. You’ll feel something from both couples. If you’re contemplating reading this series please just read it! -
Well that was disappointing..
-
Definitivamente, Enzo y Gia son mi pareja favorita, hasta ahora, queda esperar a que esté la historia de Giulio y Alessandro.

If you are looking for a dark captivity mafia romance with amazing spice and jump out of the page banter, then… this book is for you.
Stars: 5/5
Spice: 4/5
Trying to find a sliver of independence, Gia takes advantage of her sister’s marriage to Fausto to get a fashion internship where she is introduced to Enzo. Enzo, having suffered unimaginable loss and torture at Fausto’s hands, he sees his opportunity for revenge when he accidentally runs into his tormentor’s sister-in-law, Gia. He has been living in hiding for four long years but through callously using Gia he plans to get everything back.
I don’t usually give out 5 stars, so when I do, it’s because the book is stunning. I was wary of picking up this book because of how Enzo was portrayed in the previous books. I am so glad I decided to give it a chance. Not only did I find the story compelling I found the banter between the characters to be first rate. As much as Enzo is indeed unhinged, Gia is her own kind of stubborn and spunky crazy.
I read and loved the previous two books in the series, but as amazing as they are this book blew them out of the water. I am so looking forward to the next one in the series. -
4.25 🌟's!

not me devouring this book the day it comes out 😅😩✌️ mila did not come to play with this third book in the kings of italy series holy shit!!! i absolutely could not put this down the last however many hours i was just laying in bed reading and screaming and, let's admit it, gushing like a fucking broken fire hydrant 🥵 mila finelli writes some of my favorite steamy/spicy gloriousness i absolutely cannot fucking handle it omg. just top tier 🤌🏽 there's so much going on in this book from the revenge/kidnapping plot, the regularly scheduled mafia violence, the spice, the growing emotions between the MC's like .. WHEW.
the story kept moving at a wonderful pace where i never truly got bored. the spice never felt repetitive to me even though there was SO much of it making up the book. seeing how the MC's grow from enemies in a forced captor/captive situation to slowly realizing they actually have feelings for each other was just.. UGH SO MUCH ANGST MAAN, esp with the third act conflict.
overall, this was another fun entry into this series and is definitely my 2nd favorite after mafia mistress. what can i say? i love my paparino's 🥰
