When you encounter a life threatening event your mind operates at a very different level. Your thoughts become crystal clear. You acquire a laser like focus as every cell in your body gears up, to fight to the finish. What you are capable of in that state, has to be seen to be believed.
In April 2021 I was admitted to an ICU in a critical condition, unconscious, with a severe case of Covid 19- Delta variant. My oxygen saturation had plummeted to 60, a dangerous level. My HRCT score was 24 out of 25 and on top of it I had pulmonary embolism. My lungs were severely damaged and I was unable to breathe on my own.
In that condition, I fought hard to stay alive when people around me were dying. It was not an easy journey and there were times when I thought I wouldn’t make it back. When nothing was working for me, I turned to my mind to find a way out of the hospital, preferably alive. After three weeks in the ICU when I left the hospital on a stretcher, I had lost 15 kg body weight, was unable to stand and was still on oxygen support.
During that intense phase, I realised how you can apply your mind to come out of seemingly impossible situations. When I applied some basic techniques, I made an amazing turnaround.
Looking back, I realised you don’t have to wait for life threatening events to apply techniques that can change your life.
My book, draws from this and other experiences. Among others, it shows how you can use your mind to alter your perception, infuse hope and come out of intense situations. It demonstrates how you can apply simple techniques that can change your thinking and fight back to completely transform your life.
