Honestly where do you go wrong with a book with sharks, mermaids, pirates, scavengers, and otters in it? I love this book like it was my child. Let’s be honest, it basically is my child. Shelly’s character building throws you into the story to where it seems like you knew the characters for years. Another adventure in love to add to the list. Basically if you don’t love it we can fight 🤷🏼♀️

This book was so so good! I was hooked from the first page and couldn't stop turning the pages to see what would happen next. It's filled with a bit of drama, mermaids, sharks, pirates, and love, what more could you ask for? An entertainingly wonderful read and one I highly recommend.

After falling in love with Somerset I had to go for a swim near Pensacola. I was happy to meet a fated mate named Savanna who loves the water as much as I do! Savanna a marine biologist who loves the water and never cast the spell to pull Fated Mate because of fear of giving up her dreams was living her best life until a series of events turned her world upside down.
Daniel is a shark shifter who lives on a boat and is a salvage expert. He and his crew are in the area of Salacia on a job. Of course salvage experts need items for a dive shop. And it is at the dive shop that we have our meet cute.
I enjoyed this trip to Salacia. And I loved Savanna’s story! -
Another great story. Love, adventure, kidnapping, suspense - Check! Shelly never seems to disappoint. Definitely recommend this book.

Confusing Start
I am a person who reads at all times of the day and night. This particular book was one that I started reading late at night when I couldn't sleep. So, my experience of this book might be in part my fault as well as the author’s. I found the beginning of the book super confusing. I am not a reader who appreciates an information dump—and that certainly didn't happen here—but when a world created by the author is so different from our own, it helps to have at least some explanation at the beginning as well as sprinkled throughout the text. (At first, I didn’t even know if the mermaids were the true mythical creatures or just a group of people. I didn’t re-read the book description to get context.) This didn't really happen much at all, so I felt like I was more trying to get my bearings in this fantastical world as the book went along rather than actually appreciating the characters or the plot, which felt too fast given the lack of world-building. I found myself wondering if this was a splinter off of a different series—so that author might expect that the readers know something about her world—but the copy of the book that I received made no mention of that. All in all, I found this to be a very disappointing reading experience. Perhaps I should look at it again when it isn't at the end of a long day.

Book one in the Love in Salacia series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Savanna and Daniel a shark shifter's story, there is suspense, drama, danger, kidnapping, villains, and romance. I want to read the next book in this series. Really enjoyed this fun, sexy and action packed adventure filled with engaging charters, witty dialog, exciting twists and heart racing turns.. Was a fun way to sped a few relaxing hours in the evening! Great read!

Shark shifters for the win
I can't express how much I loved reading this book. I have a love for sharks, all things ocean, and have a special place in my heart for sea otters. From beginning to end this book kept me reading. Absolutely going on my to read again shelf. -
