This hardcover journal serves as an introduction to goal setting. It seems geared to teens and those who identify as female, but it absolutely could be used by anyone.

The book starts with a brief introduction to the use of manifestation as a way to focus on your goals and dreams. After that, each page consists of journal prompts, fun graphics to fill in, checklists, quizzes, and more. The purpose is to help you visualize your future, learn to practice gratitude, feel comfortable with self-care, deal with setbacks, take action, and tap into your inner bravery.

The color scheme leans heavily on the pinks and purples, though some pages are in teal, peach, and light blue. It looks like there is plenty of room to write thoughts and responses to the prompts.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants a playful yet effective system for achieving their dreams, but I think it'd be most appealing to teens. Note that I haven't tested Sarac's methods, but I'm familiar with popular goal setting planners and systems and this journal seems to hit all the major points.

Thanks to the publisher for the review copy as part of the Sourcebook Early Reads program.

Ok, from the title you know there's swearing on the page--like every page. Now stay with me, because maybe you, like me, aren't really into that type of thing normally.

But in this journal it just works.

Look--the last two years were cause for a few well placed curses, and maybe they also made you take stock of your life. Any big dreams that you want to accomplish? Any that you haven't gone for?

Well why not? D. A. Sarac's journal may be just the thing to get your little bottom in gear. The "Bippity Boppity Boo" page is just motivation perfection. And if nothing else, the colors throughout this darn thing are just a feast for the eyes.

Now go on--go grab a copy of this journal and chase those dreams!

Special thanks to the publisher for sending a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a review through the Sourcebooks Early Reads program.

Received this as a lovely present from a friend. I love the emphasis on empowerment present in this book and its exercises; however, I find it to be a little too positive for my liking, without much ability to address ways to cope with the very traumatic things that DO happen in life such as abuse, death, etc. I would have appreciated more advice on how to grow from trauma instead of the vibe that you can become whatever you want, though I love learning about manifestation and how to utilize that in one's life.

Wonderfully colorful pages and plenty of space to write your thoughts and feelings. I like the quirky language used for the self refection questions. Very empowering and upbeat verbiage.
