Dirty Daddies Pride 2022 Reviews

  • Rin (semi-hiatus)

I only enjoyed 6 out of 27 of this series, and I read every single one. This series is getting two stars for poor editing, lack of trigger warnings (which most stories needed), and lack of links (if you want us to follow these authors maybe include the links to their sites/groups?). Some authors had intros and tributes, some didn’t. If you can include those, why not trigger warnings?? I won’t be ordering this again if it is done by the same company. And almost all of the authors decided to go in a fairly dark route for a Daddy anthology. Most of the boys/girls had horribly abusive pasts and sometimes the physical abuse is on page. 🥴

•Daddy’s Toy, Neuhold- Sweet, super sexy, good characters… just all around good 🤷🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

•Loki and Tony, MA Innes- wtf is going on. OH GOD THE INTERNAL DIALOGUE DNF

•The Sherrif’s Troublemaker, Kelly Fox- Heed TW’s: suicide attempt of a side character, consensual non-con. Hot and so sweet but I’ve been waiting for their story for a long time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

•Far From Paradise, Daryl Banner- so sweet and great writing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

•Daddy’s Bliss, Ava Sinclair (FF)- needs a TW for physical abuse on a child, glossed over sex and kink, typos, switches in tense (“I said” then a few sentences later “Tandy said” from a chapter in Tandy’s perspective). Had a lot of potential but missed the mark.
    ⭐️⭐️

•Cruising For A Daddy, Jacki James- Um, “The End” page after the first chapter? 🤔 typos (infinity-affinity..) just jumped into sex with literally no foreplay or even a kiss. Just went into his room and stuck his dick in him. Chapter six ends with them deciding what to do for the day, chapter seven starts with them supposedly having already had a convo about Ollie going home with Adam? Chapters were skipped here… then it’s “The End” AGAIN, and now it’s Chapter eight Wtf is going on??? Then it ends on the wrong chapter. Negative stars. ➖⭐️

•Bite Me Daddy, Mia Monroe- ⭐️⭐️

•Becoming Nicky’s Daddy, Reese Morrison (FNB)- awesome and unique dynamic, awesome writing, sexy AF kink. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars

•Dante’s Daddy, Maren Smith- ok… so cheating… cool cool. Virgin anal sex without proper prep (one finger doesn’t do jack) and no lube is um… nope. Cum and spit dry up in about 30 seconds so that sex is gonna get real uncomfortable real fast for both of them. A good gay Dom would know that. Also, at the beginning of sex, Campbell put on a condom, then it was said later his cum was dripping out of Dante’s ass… so continuity errors in writing and no good Dom would have unprotected sex with a new sub. One ⭐️ star.. author should probably stick to MF

•Not a Bad Boy, Morticia Knight- TW for child abuse and extreme homophobia, but cute and sexy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars

Surprising Their Secretary, Jamie Merrick- MMF- no chemistry, boring one ⭐️

Glut, Gianni Holmes- Title page has a typo, TW for on page physical, verbal, and emotional abuse from a partner. Good hurt/comfort. Wish there had been an epilogue. FYI, it’s a 28 year age gap… 24/52 3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daddy Material, Emma Alcott- so much internal dialogue.. is there actually a relationship in this? The rest is conversations with his best friend then he and Derek fuck all night. Just meh. 2 ⭐️⭐️

The Daddy Upgrade, Chara Croft- would have been perfect without the exhausting amount of internal dialogue. 3.5⭐️⭐️⭐️

Austin’s Unexpected Little, Siobhan Smile (FF)- TW for mentions of suicide, story was perfection, would have loved an epilogue though. 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wanted: Hot Daddy, Sammi Cee- Hayden is REALLY unlikable, it was just okay. 2.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daddy’s Gachapon Boy, Della Cain- ⭐️⭐️
Three Daddies (MMMF), Mika Lane- OH YAY A WOMAN WORKING AT A SHITTY DINER WITH A SHITTY BOSS WHO MOVED TO HOLLYWOOD TO MAKE IT IN MODELING OBSESSED WITH HAVING THE PERFECT BODY HOW ORIGINAL. So clichè. And unprotected sex even on birth control means a woman can still get ✨STI’s✨ 🙄 AND OH MY GOD PLEASE DON’T PUT FOOD ON YOUR PU$$Y BAD BAD BAD 😰😰😰 So why did Timo use a condom with Chance but not Lexi?? Because ✨STI’s✨ This story is why I don’t read MF anymore. 2⭐️⭐️

Opal, Lesley Clark- TW needed since one of the MC’s gets the shit beat out of him. Otherwise this was a well done story. New to me author I will probably continue to follow. Also, it looks like this is a primarily MF writer so kudos to her for doing MM right. 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tucking In, PD Carter- TW for death and grief. His guilt over “overwhelming” Alex with his coming out is bullshit. “It was okay that everyone saw me as part of their family, but I knew that all would change if I suddenly took on a lifestyle they saw as an embarrassment. I never did anything to draw attention or bring shame” this quote right here ruined it for me. It did get better. But an entire relationship development was erased and it’s really not a Daddy story at all. And we missed Alex’s funeral which was the whole point of this story, not to mention the unresolved stuff with Alex. This laid out so epically and really should have been a full book. So much set up without much delivery. We got sex and “Daddy” stuff in the epilogue, but the sex was….yikes. This was just… a bizarre read. 2⭐️⭐️

Dani’s Dominant Daddy (FF), Delia Grace-TW for gang rape jeez, Daddy kink is like… my thing, so it takes a lot to squick me out… but this story squicked me out. There’s no attraction or chemistry.. it’s just.. ick. Negative ➖⭐️

His Second Chance Daddy, Lorelei M. Hart- sweet second chance but when you do omegaverse with knotting and you put the glazed over sex in about two sentences in the whole story, that pretty much guarantees I’ll never read the author again. 2 ⭐️⭐️

Cuddly Mafia Daddy, Aster Rae- “Part of my kink is that I use stuffed animals to jerk off. But I'm not supposed to be open about it. I’ve fantasized about Dverek nonstop this past week and my stuffed animal is overwhelmed with my endless loads. I even poked a hole in it to masturbate while fantasizing that Dverek was behind me.” Aaaand that right there caused a DNF. 🤢🤢🤢

Codename: Omega, Dakota Trace- typos (“object horror”… it’s ABJECT) and Slugger is a terrible pet name, even for a little. Pretty bummed that they built up waiting to have sex then we didn’t even get their first time. The last chapter had a lot of important things about to happen and it was all skipped. Had potential. 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Breaking And Entering (MMF), Chloe Lynn Ellis- What a naughty fun ride. Just straight up threesome sexy goodness. 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daddy’s Guarding, Pepper North- the Insta-Daddying was weird. Then later Pete discussed getting Alan tested tomorrow and that Pete had gotten tested today… but he still didn’t use a condom… Pete can still get something from Alan not using protection… 🤦🏻 Aaand ended abruptly. Ok. 2⭐️⭐️

Perfect Daddy at 51, Nora Phoenix- No TW for on page attempted rape of an MC… I am… not a fan of punishing a person because they drank too much that almost resulted in them being raped… it’s icky. I understand wanting to keep someone safe but that feels… shamey. Like it was Leif’s fault he almost got raped. Regardless of him being drunk, it’s not his fault in either instance. I feel like Nora should know better than to write that. Pretty disappointed 2⭐️⭐️

Moral of the story? I spent days wasting my time on this anthology and won’t be buying it again. And will definitely pay attention to what this company produces so I can avoid it.

  • Jenny (Nyxie)

Overall great book - 27 stories, 1850 pages, huge range in the types of MCs and kinks. Something for everyone. Detailed review to come!

  • Rainbow Reads and Reviews

For this review, I will be touching on the anthology as a whole and the 20 of 26 stories that I read. I did received an ARC for Loki and Tony by MA Innes and Wanted Hot Daddy by Sammi Cee. I also had the pleasure of reading Becoming Nicky’s Daddy by Reese Morrison before publication.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews for individual stories, but none for the overall anthology. First, as mentioned, I read 20 of the 26. I’ll be sharing individual reviews for each of them, but have several issues with the anthology as a whole.

I will say that I greatly appreciated that each story was labeled as to which genders or NB were included. I’m not one to read anything outside mm and I was glad to be able to skip the stories that I knew wouldn’t appeal to me.
With that being said, my biggest issue with this book is the lack of trigger warnings and blurbs. Only Kelly Fox shares a trigger warning (it really needed more than one) and only a couple of stories had actual blurbs. Many of these stories are dark. If you are triggered by child abuse, on page grief and loss of a loved one, on page attempted r*pe, murder, extreme homophobia and the beating of a homeless person, a MC with HIV and questionable safe sex practices, proceed with caution. At the bare minimum, each of these stories should have had a blurb that prepared the reader on what to expect from each story. Many stories, Nora’s especially, were missing trigger warnings for severe behaviors on page and off. I will list any necessary trigger warnings with each of my reviews below. These may include possible spoilers.

    Daddy’s Toy-K.M. Neuhold-4.5⭐️
After the disaster that was Drilled, the last book in the Four Bears Construction series, I severely limited my consumption of this author’s books. I wanted to read each of the MM stories in this book and I’m glad that I took the chance on this story. This story reminded me of Kyleen’s older books and almost felt as if it was written by someone else. Nathan and Robbie were so sweet together. I loved the back story and the care that Nathan took with Robbie. I would have loved an entire book based on their relationship.

    Loki and Tony-M.A. Innes-4.5⭐️
I love how Shaw/M.A. listens to her readers when we ask for a side character, or in this case characters, backstory. Loki and Tony appear in the One of Those Days series. While you don’t necessarily have to read that series, this doesn’t completely work as a stand alone if you want to know who Skylar and Remy are, they are in the Rubber Duckie and Whipped Cream books.
Loki and Tony have had animosity towards each other and it finally came to a head. A case of miscommunication and thinking the other person to be very vanilla, led to a horrible date and with Tony not remembering Loki’s real name. Once that’s taken care of, we learn that Hunter (Loki) is a little and Tony (Robyn) is a Daddy. The rest of the story shares bits and pieces of their budding relationship. We do get some age play and a spanking. There’s also sexy banter between Dom and sub. I really enjoyed this story and I love how it fit into the prospective world!

The Sheriff’s Trouble Maker-Kelly Fox-2 ⭐️ Kelly included a trigger warning about a secondary character’s attempted suicide. However, I feel that this story needed one about internalized homophobia, destructive behavior and homophobia from outside sources. I had not read the series related to these characters and did not know their backstory or history. If I had, I would have skipped it. There was nothing sexy about the interactions between Patrick (Sheriff) and Jason (the boy). Patrick is in the closet and the couple of times he interacts with Jason, outside of his position, he basically uses Jason to get off and then proceeds to tell him that he can’t give him what he wants. Fast forward as Jason is trying to get his brother into rehab and himself being sent to an impatient care center, Patrick shows up and then they are professing their love for one another…what? Patrick didn’t come across as a Daddy and the way he treated Jason was gross. This definitely didn’t work as a stand alone for me. With the implied themes from the other books, this is a series I’ll be skipping.

Far From Paradise-Daryl Banner-3⭐️ This one needs a trigger warning about homelessness. One of the MCs is homeless and there’s detail about how he’s surviving on the streets, etc.
This story was ok. Daryl is a new to me author and while I didn’t love this story, it doesn’t turn me off from reading any other of his works. This just isn’t a trope I enjoy and I didn’t connect with Cooper or Seany.

    Cruising for Daddy-Jacki James-1⭐️
This was a hot mess, literally. I’m not sure if the wrong file was submitted for publishing, but this story is completely out of order. This is definitely something that should have been caught in editing..either from the author or publisher.

    Bite Me Daddy-Mia Monroe-2.5 ⭐️
This was not great. I absolutely love Daddy Kink and Fated Mates. This story had both and neither was done well. The entire thing felt stilted and could have used some polishing. The sex between the two was lackluster. The epilogue made me roll my eyes….it felt a bit too much like Twilight.
    Becoming Nicky’s Daddy-Reese Morrison-3.5 ⭐️
I loved the story of Mars and Nicky. Reese has a knack for creating characters who feel very real. Both business owners, Mars is attracted to Nicky’s femininity and Nicky is attracted to Mar’s masculinity. They dance around each other and Reese provides a brief history of their platonic relationship. We see Mars as she guides Nicky through issues with his staff and bookstore. We learn how their relationship has progressed and we see how they come together. The spanking scene was hot and I love the D/s elements between the two.

    Dante’s Daddy-Maren Smith- 1 ⭐️
Maren mentions that this story is their first MM story and unfortunately, it was problematic. First, this story needs a tw about loss of a loved one and dealing with grief. There’s also internal homophobia and cheating. Dante is a closeted individual who takes a trip to The Castle rather than partake in a traditional bachelor party. Again, he’s closeted and has never been with a man nor has any experience in BDSM. The Castle is basically a BDSM resort. Dante’s assigned a Dom and it all goes downhill from there. I’m not sure if the author wrote Daddy Kink in their MF books, but this reads as someone who’s completely new to kink wrote a book about Daddy/littles and wasn’t really sure how that dynamic works. The Dom is the most problematic. It was confusing as to why Dante was all of a sudden little when hed never experienced submission. My biggest issue is that the Dom took Dante’s virginity….dry. DRY. Spit is not lube. It’s completely unrealistic for a VIRGIN to take a “massive” c*ck with only spit. There’s literally a line about the Dom pulling a condom from his kilt…why did he not grab a lube packet. Why are they in a conference room in a BDSM resort and there’s no lube available? Also, why is there an epilogue that’s literally ten minutes after the previous scene? This ones a hard nope from me.

Not A Bad Boy-Morticia Knight-3⭐️ This is another one that needs trigger warnings. There’s hate speech and homophobia and mention of past child abuse. I find Mortica’s writing to be hit or miss for me. This story was ok. I love that Tyler is not an average boy. He’s tall and tattooed. Rafe is older and shorter, but he was a good Daddy to Tyler. It wasn’t my favorite age play story, but it was enjoyable.

Glut-Gianni Holmes-3⭐️ This story needs trigger warnings for on page and off page physical abuse. Blake is a Dom who spent months watching Riley, the boy, engage in gang bangs at the local BDSM club. He only observes, never participates, but steps in when Riley is being smacked around by his boyfriend as he leaves the club. Blake takes Riley back to his hotel suite and takes care of him. Blake is a kind, caring and attentive Daddy. Riley thinks his broken because of his desires and Blake shows him that he isn’t.

    Daddy Material-Emma Alcott-4⭐️
I really enjoyed this story. There’s no blurb, but I believe that this is part of her Masters of Romance series. While Bad Boy was absolutely awful, this story is a complete 180. My only issue with this story was the age gap. Aiden is only 18 and about to start his freshman year of College and Derek is in his 40s (Dad’s best friend). Normally, an age gap doesn’t bother me, but I get a little skeeved when one of the characters is technically barely legal. I will say that Emma handles it well. This story could have easily felt like grooming, but while Derek is attracted to Aiden, he lets Aiden make all the first moves and gets permission from Aiden’s father to pursue a relationship. It’s a sweet story with a first time Daddy and a boy with a ton of imagination.

    The Daddy Upgrade-Chara Croft-4.5 ⭐️
Holy smokes did Chara surprise me with this one. This is one of the top 5 stories in this book. Her first real Daddy story was extremely problematic. Ollie and Yves story is really enjoyable. Yves is there to rescue Ollie when he needs it most and his respect and care for Ollie was so sweet. Loved

    Wanted: Hot Daddy-Sammi Cee 4.5 ⭐️
The first chapter of this story almost turned me off to reading the rest. Sammi wrote Hayden very well. He was unlikeable from the get go and definitely needed someone to take him in hand. Waylan liked his boy’s bratty and he knows Hayden’s real personality is hidden behind all the snark.
Waylan’s a rich and successful Daddy. He’s the first Daddy I’ve come across who wants his boy to stay home and not work. It’s different then the typical Daddy/boy dynamic found in most Daddy kink and I loved it. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

    Daddy’s Gachapon Boy-Della Cain 4 ⭐️
This story is set in Della’s Collared Ever After world. Monroe is a Daddy who is interested in a boy who isn’t the typical little/middle. He meets Jax when he goes to help with a plumbing issue. Jax isn’t a boy, but Monroe introduces him to the dynamic and he explores age play with Monroe. It’s a sweet story with a cat named Fox and a pup named Moon and little toys in capsules.

Opal-Lesly Clark 1⭐️ This one needs a list of trigger warnings. There’s murder, homelessness, homophobia, and the MC is almost beaten to death. I really wish this one at least had a blurb. I would have 100% skipped it. This one was too dark. The last thing I want to read in Daddy kink is someone shooting someone else.

Tucking In P.D. Carter 3⭐️ Another story that needs trigger warnings for death and grieving. Tucker was best friends with Alex who’s older brother, Billy, was secretly gay. Tucker found Billy in a compromising position during high school and realized that his crush on Billy meant he was gay. This story is about Tucker’s trip home after learning of Alex’s death in a car crash. They hadn’t been on speaking terms and a lot of this short story is Tucker’s guilt and grief. This story is only a few chapters long so there’s not a lot of relationship building, but the ending is sweet.

    His Second Chance Daddy-Lorelei M. Hart 3.5⭐️
This was a sweet story about a second chance at a relationship set in Lorelei’s ABO world. There’s mention of mpreg, but nothing on page. Aiden and Penn meet again in the same way they had met in the past. The story is about exploring a relationship that morphs into a Daddy/boy dynamic. Penn needed someone to allow him to let go and Aiden fulfills that need in him. It was a super sweet story about 2 men coming together again after years a part. I really enjoyed a D/b dynamic featuring a couple without a huge age gap.

Cuddly Mafia Daddy-Aster Rae- 0 ⭐️ This is the only story I did not finish. After three chapters, I had to call it quits. As a new to me author, I did not expect to find such a poorly written story in an anthology like this. The story is one dimensional and completely unrealistic. I’m not sure if the author is familiar with NYC, but it definitely seemed as if they aren’t.

Codename Omega-Dakota Trace 3⭐️ Trigger warnings of attempted suicide, homophobia and homelessness
A sanctuary for Littles in need is the premise behind this story. Angel is found on the streets and given a chance to seek sanctuary until he’s back on his feet. He falls for the Daddy he’s staying with and the story is mostly about them exploring their dynamic. It’s an interesting idea and I may put this author on my TBR list.

    Daddy’s Guarding-Pepper North 2⭐️
Meh. I’ve never enjoyed this author’s writing, but I wanted to give this story a chance. It’s not bad, but the incessant use of Little Boy as a nickname is more than annoying. I also hate stories that are about littles and age play and there’s no age play on page.

Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One-Nora Phoenix-I can’t give this story any stars. Even hours later, I’m still extremely angry with this author and this story. There’s absolutely no trigger warnings for this and no blurb stating that this novella includes characters from a different series. Going into it knowing Nora and her writing, I was completely blindsided.

First, Frank is HIV positive and lost his partner to full blown Aids. He’s interested in Leif, an Only Fans performer who is the roommate of one of his friends. My biggest issue is the on page attempted r*pe of a drunk Leif, followed closely by unsafe s*x between Frank and Leif. Frank wears a condom for penetration, but doesn’t wear a condom as he uses Leif’s mouth and shoots down his throat. There’s no mention that Leif is or is not on PRep, but we do know that he films with strangers every week. I don’t understand why that conversation wasn’t part of the story or why there was no trigger warning for any of these things.

At the end of it all, this story disappointed me the most. I hope that the publishers will insist on blurbs and trigger warnings for the next iteration of this anthology.

ARC Partial Review - “The Daddy Upgrade” by Chara Croft (super excited to be accepted onto one of my favourite author’s ARC team!)

    Swoon /5 🥰🥰🥰🥰
    Angst /5 🥺🥺
    Steam /5 ♨️♨️♨️♨️
    Plot /5 🧐🧐🧐🧐
    LOLs /5 🤭🤭🤭

I’ll be honest - I don’t usually enjoy readjng anthologies. But was this only a short story?? I’m usually disappointed with short stories/novellas because they usually feel unfinished. But this? This was one of Chara’s finest! To develop such vivid, lovable characters in only 20000 words? Excellent writing. Many authors try, but not all achieve it in a reduced word limit.

We meet barista Ollie at an airport, on his way home from a weekend away with his current “not-boyfriend”, the detestable Grant, who then dumps Oliie and leaves him to get his own way home. Ollie is sunshine & sweetness & joy, while Grant is… not. We don’t care about him because he’s quickly gone, thank goodness.

This situation is witnessed by Yves, a French businessman who gets coffee from Ollie daily, and already secretly harbours affection for Ollie (which is secretly reciprocated by Ollie). I think the fact they’ve known each other, even in this small way, makes the Insta-love more believable. When Yves sees Ollie struggling with being unceremoniously & publicly dumped, it appeals to his hero-Daddy, take-charge nature, so he steps in to help Ollie get home, with hopes of this being his chance to have Ollie as his own sweet boy. Between Yves’ acceptance and love of Ollie’s sweet, “little”, willing-to-please nature, and Yves’ need to take control & care of “his boy”, they connect so beautifully. When they finally get to test their connection between the sheets - FIRE!🔥🔥🔥🔥 The Daddy-kink is mild, as is the age play, so if Daddy/boy isn’t totally your jam, don’t let this put you off.

Of course, it’s too short. I’d love to see more from this sweet couple. But for now, I thoroughly enjoyed it. And an honourable mention goes to the French affectations used liberally by Yves, and the creative use of a stuffed toy in the bedroom… 😲😉😏

‘The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft’

Ohhh, this was just how I love my Daddy/boy stories.

Ollie was left behind by his awful boyfriend/not boyfriend at the airport. Sneered to him he doesn’t fit, in any way. Here he is with tearing eyes and trembling lips, he has to keep it together to find a flight home.

Yves already found Ollie adorable back home, where the guy is the barista where Yves buys his coffee. Now he sees him standing there at the airport, all alone away from home, he can’t believe his luck, could it be possible? Ollie ticks off all Yves boxes. He’s sweet, innocent, adorable, vulnerable, and needs guidance.
He could be the perfect Daddy for Ollie.

Yes, I loved this story, with a sweet hurt helpless boy, full of uncertainties, who can’t believe his luck, adored by a dedicated Daddy, who sees him in all his adorable glory and loves every piece of him.
The author excels in writing stories like this, every emotion is palpable, the hurt is exquisitely done, it's sexy, steamy, and just freaking adorable.

  • Janet (iamltr)

This review is for the story The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft. I have not read the other stories yet, but will update this review when I do.

Ollie had the misfortune of traveling with a horrible creature when he gets abandoned at the airport in Florida. He happens to run into a customer of the coffee shop he works in, Yves who speaks a lot of french.

“You are perfect , n'est-ce pas, mon beau?” - Yves

Ollie has not been a boy before, but does know what it is. Yves has decided he wants to be a full time Daddy. Lucky for the both of them, they like each other instantly and Daddy upgrades Ollie's ticket so that he could fly first class. He also buys Ollie a stuffy that gets down to some kinky stuff later on.

So they get back the NYC and decide to spend some time together and after some hemming and hawing, decide to try this whole Daddy/boy relationship.

    ohmygodbutseriouslyI’mabouttocomeforreal. “Daddy,” I wailed.

“Yes,” he growled. “My boy. My good boy.”

Yes, this was instant. Yes, I totally bought it and loved every minute of this story. Chara has a way of sucking you in and making you cheer for the mcs.

I just wish that something bad could have happen to the dude at the airport though.

    Daddy's Toy (M/M) by K.M. Neuhold - 2 stars
Robbie has been lusting after his roommate for ages, and watching the online Daddy videos Nathan makes. At some point, he orders a dildo in the shape of Nathan's dick, and gets caught. Luckily, Nathan seems horny instead of angry when he inevitably finds out. This story was okay, even if it seemed intrusive to me at times. Robbie and Nathan were a perfect fit. My biggest issue was that, once again, boys get punished for their mistakes, but Daddies get away with them.

Loki and Tony (M/M) by M.A. Innes - 4 stars
Daddy Dom Robyn (Tony) was the sweetest softie ever, and bratty sub slash adorable Little Hunter (Loki) was his perfect match. Their relationship was very sweet, complete with Innes' brand of instalove. The beginning was very confusing with all the side characters, but it got better very quickly. Enjoyable read.

The Sheriff's Troublemaker (M/M) by Kelly Fox - 2 stars
Jason is a broken and lost boy, in desperate need of some guidance and love. And he wants Sheriff Patrick. But Patrick thinks his job and reelection are more important than Jason, and he keeps his distance while Jason self-destructs and has multiple breakdowns. Then, when he finally pulls his head out of his ass (while still demanding his friends keep it all a secret), he says: "You mean everything to me, Jason." How could he, when he never did anything to show it? Patrick didn't take his responsibility as a Daddy, and I hated it. I did really like the part where he cleaned up his boy in the shower, inside and out. Very intimate.

Far From Paradise (M/M) by Daryl Banner - 3 stars
Seany is homeless and hungry, and steals some nuts from bar owner Cooper. But Cooper isn't having it, and chases him down. He ends up taking Seany home, and Seany never leaves again. I really liked the mutual caretaking in this one. I didn't really like that Cooper still saw it as a temporary thing until Seany would find "real love" with someone else, and it made me uncomfortable that he kept referring to Seany as "kid" even after they'd been intimate already.
This one didn't really contain Daddy dynamics, but more mutual caretaking. The honorific Daddy was only used once I believe, and not really addressed.

    Daddy's Bliss (F/F) by Ava Sinclair - 3 stars
Bliss is lost and Tandy can't resist being the one to help her find her way. I really liked how affirming Tandy was, and how sweet Bliss was. Many things were described in little summaries, instead of playing out on-page, which made it harder to really feel the development of their relationship. I also didn't like the plot line with Inez, as it went nowhere. I absolutely loved the epilogue, though.

Cruising For A Daddy (M/M) by Jacki James - 3 stars
Adam's sister gifts him a ticket for a Daddy/boy cruise, in the hopes Adam finally has some fun and maybe finds a boy. On the cruise, he finds Ollie. Their connection is instant and very sweet. I really liked the things they did together and how well they fit. I would have liked Adam's bossiness to come out a bit more, and I felt like he maybe insulted Ollie's self-sufficiency with his demands to pay for everything, always. But overall a very cute story with a sweet ending.

Bite Me, Daddy (M/M) by Mia Monroe - 4 stars
Scout has a massive crush on his boss, Sebastian. When Sebastian asks him to help with a staffing project, Scout immediately agrees. Sebastian then admits his romantic attraction to Scout, which was ridiculously cute. I really liked the role reversal in this one, too.

Becoming Nicky's Daddy (NB/NB) by Reese Morrison - 5 stars
Nicky believes they're only attracted to men. Mars believes she's only attracted to women and thinks penises are gross. But they slowly figure out they're really fucking in love with each other anyway, and the slow exploration of their relationship is beautiful. I loved this story so much.

Dante's Daddy (M/M) by Maren Smith - DNF
Campbell works at a professional BDSM service, and Dante comes for a weekend to experience what he truly desires before he gets married to someone he doesn't love romantically. Extremely questionable situation. Anyway, Campbell proceeds to treat Dante pretty bad, Dante is not having fun, and then Campbell basically threatens Dante into never using the company safeword (which would call security automatically) instead of their scene safeword. The company safeword is there for a reason, and making your sub feel threatened and too afraid to use it is awful. Did not finish.

Not A Bad Boy (M/M) by Morticia Knight - 5 stars
Tyler the adorable boy doesn't look like the average Little or Middle, which makes him feel unwanted. Rafe makes sure to boost his self-confidence by being the best and sweetest Daddy who ever Daddied. I also loved the creative use of Tyler's piercings. Lovely read.

Surprising Their Secretary (M/M/F) by Jamie Merrick - 4 stars
Husbands Dylan and Shaun have been looking for a Little girl for a long time. When their attractive secretary Jordan turns out to be a Little, they can't wait to scoop her up and seduce her. The combination of a cheeky Master and a soft Daddy seems perfect for her. I really liked how they'd already carved out a place for her in their lives before meeting her, and made sure she was never a third wheel. I didn't really understand why they wanted a girl specifically, and not a boy, but other than that it was a pretty good story, even though the writing was a little clunky sometimes.

Glut (M/M) by Gianni Holmes - 4 stars
Riley's kink is being in the center of gangbangs. Blake loves watching those and wants to take care of Riley afterwards. When he saves Riley from his abusive ex, he can finally protect and take care of Riley. A very sweet story, with a real teddy bear Daddy and an insecure but beautiful boy. The story ended a little too open-ended, with too many storylines unresolved. Other than that, a very sweet read.

Daddy Material (M/M) by Emma Alcott - 3 stars
Aiden moves in with his dad's best friend Derek so he can go to a college nearby. He's instantly physically attracted to Derek, and after some coaxing by his best friend, decides to seduce the man. I loved how considerate Derek was, and his friendship with Aiden's dad. Unfortunately, this story was based entirely on physical attraction, as we saw no conversations or sweet Daddy moments on page.

The Daddy Upgrade (M/M) by Chara Croft - 3 stars
Ollie gets dumped by his not-boyfriend at the airport, and consoled by the guy he's had a crush on since forever. Yves is a Daddy looking for a specific kind of little boy, and he finds out slowly that Ollie fits the bill perfectly. The back-and-forth where both their insecurities got the best of them again and again took up a little too much of the novella, but I liked Yves' specific kink and the way they worked together. All the French was really jarring and out of place, though, and kind of messed up the flow of the story.

Austin's Unexpected Little (F/F) by Siobhan Smile - 2 stars
Daddy Austin has crushed on her neighbor Constance since before Constance's divorce. Two years later, she finally starts her seduction. The writing didn't really work for me in this one. Constance was referred to as a Little, but nothing happened in that regard. There was also a lot of buildup to penetration, but it didn't happen in the story. Why build it up so much, then? And the first time they were together, Austin said she wouldn't touch Constance's breasts or between her legs. She broke both promises within minutes. This story just didn't do it for me.

Wanted: Hot Daddy (M/M) by Sammi Cee - 3 stars
Hayden is a bratty little shit, and Daddy Waylan sees right through his defenses and decides he wants this boy. Their dating process and relationship development was very sweet, but I didn't like how much of an ass Hayden was in the beginning. I think an actual apology was in order there. But I love how Hayden found his place and Waylan found his perfect boy.

Daddy's Gachapon Boy (M/M) by Della Cain - 3 stars
Jax is a boy who doesn't know he might be into kink yet, and Monroe is a Daddy looking for a specific kind of almost-Little. They meet, they date, they fall in love and it's very sweet. I liked Jax's collection, I was a little confused on why Littles would say Monroe wasn't a real Daddy, and I think this story went too fast. After the first date, the story immediately skipped ahead to after they'd already confessed being in love. The reader missed all the good stuff!

Three Daddies (M/M/M/F) by Mika Lane - 1 star
This story had so many issues I don't know where to begin, so let me highlight the three most important ones. First, this was not a Daddy story. Timo was a sugar daddy, but that was all. No Daddy kink whatsoever. Second, condoms were only used when two men had penetrative sex. The idea that only men can transfer STIs is bullshit. There is not even an argument here for hygiene reasons, as the FMC took a bare dick up the ass later. Condoms should have been used by everyone. The third issue is even worse. Timo said his wife divorced him because Timo was bisexual, and she couldn't live with his bisexuality because she wasn't into threesomes and she didn't like him having a guy on the side. This story very strongly conveyed that bisexual people can't be happy in a strictly monogamous relationship, which is absolute bullshit. Timo was polyamorous, which is completely fine. But 'blaming' his desire for multiple partners on his bisexuality is incredibly biphobic.

Opal (M/M) by Lesley Clark - 2 stars
Daddy Mario is an esteemed member of a mafia family. When he sees homeless boy Francisco (Frankie) in a diner, he decides he needs him as his boy. Frankie has a dangerous past, and Mario is determined to protect him. This story is incomplete, in the sense that it'll continue in a different book, which sucks.

    Tucking In (M/M) by P.D. Carter - 1 star
Tucker is on his way to his (ex) best friend Alex's funeral, when he meets up with Alex's brother, BJ. About 98% of the story then revolves around Alex, how he was an absolute dick about both Tucker and BJ coming out to him, and how he was supposedly forgiven just because he died. Tucker even called his own feelings invalid and petty, while he wouldn't have done so had Alex still been alive. Someone's death doesn't impact how you deserve to feel. Alex was a major asshole about it, and that's that. Anyway, the last 2% were a six month time jump into the future where everything is perfect and they've also magically forgiven BJ's homophobic family. So they have sex. The end. This story should never have been a short, and the MCs weren't even the main characters in their own story. Alex was.

Dani's Dominant Daddy (F/F) by Delia Grace - DNF
Katherine was the worst Daddy ever. She threatened to punish Dani for things Dani didn't know were punishable. She disrespected Dani's boundaries over and over again. She punished Dani harshly when all Dani needed was compassion. Dani was miserable. And Katherine took it so far that Dani got scared. If your girl is scared of you, you failed as a Daddy. I couldn't continue after that horrible soap situation. Dani needed compassion, not punishment.

His Second Chance Daddy (M/M) by Lorelei M Hart - 2 stars
Omega Penn had a boyfriend in high school, alpha Andre. They parted ways when they went to different colleges, and reconnect in this story, a few decades later. I think the relationship was sweet, but the pacing was off and there were more summaries of events and time skips than actual dialogue and time spent together. There were also some big editing errors in this one. It could have been sweet, but didn't really work for me.

Cuddly Mafia Daddy (M/M) by Aster Rae - 2 stars
This was easily the weirdest book I've read this year, and I've read that potato shifter book... I think I enjoyed it because it was so crazy and short, but I wouldn't read anything else by this author. What a wild ride. My biggest issue was that Landon had his heart broken by his ex boyfriend when he broke up with him because Landon wasn't ready for sex yet after three months and kept pressuring him. Then Landon proceeds to pressure Dverek into sex, and even implies it'll be over if they don't have sex soon. After they knew each other for two weeks. Very nice, Landon.

Codename: Omega (M/M) by Dakota Trace - 4 stars
Little Ángel is homeless and in need of help. Daddy Giles takes him in as a part of a Little Sanctuary organisation. Their attraction grows, until they start a relationship. They're very cute together, and I liked how responsible Giles was. I do wish the mini plot with Ángel's dad was executed better, but overall a loving and hopeful story.

Breaking and Entering (M/M/F) by Chloe Lynn - DNF
I quit this one after one chapter. Allie is fucking manipulative. Jason should ditch her ass and get with Victor instead. Fuck Allie the manipulative bitch.

    Daddy's Guarding (M/M) by Pepper North - 4 stars
While the plot/setting absolutely confused me, it seems Alan was equally confused. Daddy Pete kind of blew into Alan's life like a whirlwind, and they fit together very well. I'm very happy Alan is happy now, and that Pete fits him so well. Cute read.

Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One (M/M) by Nora Phoenix - 4 stars
Leif is a little lost now that his best friend has a boyfriend and can't provide him discipline anymore. Luckily, Frank is up for the job. They fall hard and fast, and they fit together perfectly. I do wish Leif had kept his job, but I'm glad he got everything he wanted. This was a cute story, and I'm happy they found their HEA.

  • Mariam, the clown

(arc) The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft - ★★★¾
Ultra soft and deliciously hot, butttt needed to be longer. Maybe like 2 chapters more?

So many errors. Grammatical and otherwise.
Chapters out of order. Writing “The End” when the story wasn’t even out of the 1st chapter.
    Trigger warnings missing.
I think if they decide to do this next year, I’ll pass on buying it.
Not very professionally put together 😵‍💫😵‍💫

    DNF @ 370/731

This is just so bad. There are editing issues (missing chapters, for a start), the characters are flat, the stories are just bad. I have cringed so many times reading this. I feel like half the writers can't do justice to mm romance or to the daddy kink.

The story by Reese Morrison is great, at least worth 4 stars. For that, I'm glad I got this, because I'm reading their entire backlist. But the rest of the stories.. there's maybe one or two I've kind of enjoyed and the rest I hated, and I just can't put myself through any more of them hoping for another gem.

*I was lucky enough to receive more than one ARC for this Anthology. Below are the novellas I reviewed:

Breaking & Entering By Chloe Lynn Ellis

Jason and Allie are such a sexy couple. Add in a daddy and things go from hot to scorching.

I loved the relationship between Allie and Jason. It was so honest and real. She knew exactly how to push his buttons and was definitely the driver with her filthy mouth. She’s been know to get Jason in trouble and this is no exception. When she talks Jason into going into Daddy Victor’s house for some fun, that’s when it gets really good. Victor was such a nice addition to their dynamic and he knew exactly how to handle Allie and Jason.

This was a super sexy read and I loved all three MCs. I can only imagine their HEA was HOT.

The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft

Ollie was such a needy boy and I loved every second of him. Yves came in and not only saved Ollie in a bad situation, he found the exact boy he was looking for.

Daddy Yves and his sexy little French nicknames were killing me. He was so perfect for Ollie. He addressed every insecurity Ollie had in spades. He also showed Ollie that having some plushie fun is a great thing.

The end wrapped up a little quickly, in my opinion, but I loved the story we got with Ollie and Daddy Yves so, so much.

    Tucking In by PD Carter

Starting with the prologue, I feel like we are slammed headfirst into a story half-way through. Then we jump ahead and are in the thick of grief and mixed up feelings over past mistakes. It was a lot to sort out and a little difficult to connect fully with Tucker and Billy, or BJ or Junior, as he was called throughout.

Tucker seems to be taking on a lot of guilt that’s not his to carry. His “best friend” turns on him after Tucker comes out in college and we are supposed to feel bad for Alex? Hardly. He kicked his best friend out! We get to know Alex though flashback conversations and, to me, he wasn’t likable at all. Frankly, Tucker was better off without him.

The latter part of the story, after BJ and Tucker are together, I really liked. I wish there had been more of that in this. They were really sweet together and that epilogue was super sexy. Overall, this was just a so-so novella for me.

Wanted: Hot Daddy by Sammi Cee

This was an absolutely adorable novella. Hayden is such a bratty boy. But he hides such vulnerability underneath the tough exterior.

We’ve seen Hayden before, if you’ve read the other books of this series. He has always come off as a pretty awful person. But here we get to see a much different side of him when we really get into it. He’s really just adrift with no direction. Enter Waylon. Daddy Waylon was a delight. He took one look at Hayden and didn’t run from the snark or brattiness. He knew there was more to Hayden.

Waylon was a kind and caring Daddy, but I also loved that he was the type of Daddy that wanted to spoil his Boy. Hayden needed some spoiling. I loved how Waylon handled Hayden from start to finish.

This was a sweet and sexy read and I’m so glad we got to know Hayden for the adorable Boy he is.

Not a Bad Boy by Morticia Knight

This was a super fast-paced read. Rafe was such a sweet Daddy. Tyler really needed someone to help level him out. While he had never had a Daddy before, he knew what he wanted.

I liked how Tyler wasn’t the typical twink boy. He was this tattooed and pierced boy looking for the perfect Daddy. Their meet-cute was just darling. This was a solid novella in this anthology.

  • Maria

Giving up the ghost for now. I think I made it through the good parts anyway. I was expecting a Stephen King type anthology where every short story is better than the last. The Daddies got dumber here.

  • thosemedalingkids

Glut by Gianni Holmes - 4/5 stars.

The boy enjoys gangbangs at the sex club and falls into the arms of the sweetest daddy ever. The daddy is all about the aftercare and caretaking of the boy, and there's even some suckling kink included! 10/10 would like to also be called "little butterfly" as a term of endearment.

CW for toxic & abusive ex.

(Will add more as I read more of these!)

    **Partial Review**
I have been fortunate enough to receive 2 ARCs from this anthology and below is my review for both.

New Daddy at 51 - Nora Phoenix:
It really is worth reading the preceeding duology before diving into this story - so you can grasp the nuances of the relationship. But you *could* read as a standalone - you just wouldn't get the full depth of the emotions (your loss!).
A sweet and emotional story we come to expect from Nora with two beautifully flawed men who fit perfectly togeher when they allow themselves to reveal their true selves. I flew through this book and adored every page. Such great characters and a wonderful story which makes me feel good all over.

The Daddy Upgrade - Chara Croft:
Mama Chara gives me all the needy boys and Ollie is simply perfect. Yves is the best Daddy, swooping in to rescue when a complete waste of space shafts Ollie at the airport and leaves him stranded. You can expect all the steamy steam, sweet adoration and improper use of a stuffie (my favourite bit!). If you like to see fragile boys bloom under the proper care and attention - don't hesitate to dive into this magnificent masterpiece!

  • Heather Duff

An exciting anthology embracing all types of Daddies in the Pride community. It definitely has something for everyone, and it’s priced so that you can pass it up. Truly, one story is worth the price, here you get 26.

This is a review in progress, as I slowly make my way through it. To start I randomly picked two stories.

A Dino Nuggets Kind of Date by MA Innes

I enjoyed this Daddy/Little story. I enjoyed the meet-cute, the mix-up, and the reunion. I also loved how Tony wanted to court Loki in their do-over. It was sweet and wholesome. I will say, I don’t love anthology stories that stem from previous books or series. I spent the first part of the story a little confused, feeling like I was missing something. Once I got passed that though, it was a good story.

The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft

This was an adorable Daddy/Boy story. Yves runs into Ollie at an airport in the middle of being dumped. Luckily Daddies like to rescue boys, and Yves has had his eye on the cute Barrista from his coffee shop for a while. It’s insta-love with a sweet ending and forever love.

< ARC provided by GRR and this is my honest review >

  • Jocelyn F

    Mixed bag anthology

The overall formatting of this was hideous. I can't say how annoying it was to have to figure out my spot every time I had to close out my Kindle. Also, some of the stories themselves had "the end" right at the beginning... and the typos!! I'm surprised this wasn't found by editors...

I really wish a lot of these had trigger warnings associated with them... only a few actually did, but most should have had them for one trigger or another.

I read all of the MM and it was nice that each title had what type of pairing it was. Most of these stories are dark. Some worked and were good, some didn't, and some were just bad.

  • Anna

Hi. I read 25 out of 27 stories and I'm gonna tell you which ones to read so you don't have to read them all like I did.

I am so glad I'm done with this book. Let me start by saying that the 99 cents I paid for this was well worth it for the Reese Morrison story. That's the only story out of this whole anthology that I would actively recommend to people. There are some that I liked in our fine and I would recommend with caveats but as a whole the samethology was not nearly as good as last year's.

I think the biggest downfall I found this year was that there was just too many stories. There is 27 stories over 1,800 pages and had they cut that number in half and allowed the stories to be twice as long, so many of them would have been amazing. There are a dozen or so stories in here that would have benefited from an extra 50 pages and I would much rather read an anthology with 10 stories that are 125-200 pages long then whatever the hell this was.

Alright, here's my reviews for each story in order. The few I would recommend are Becoming Nicky's Daddy by Reese Morrison, Glut by Gianni Holmes, Codename: Omega by Dakota Trace, and Perfect Daddy at 51 but only if you've read the perfect Daddy at 47 duology.

Daddy’s Toy (MM) by K.M. Neuhold
    (75 pages,)
Roommates and best friends to lovers. I do really like the stories where one of the main characters does some sort of sex work because I think that destigmatizing sex work is really important and I especially appreciated that that character didn't give up that once they were in a relationship. I don't know I don't have a ton to say about this, it's a perfectly fine story but I don't know if it's one that I would like remember.
Gay MCs, daddy/boy, impact play major kink

Loki and Tony (MM) M.A. Innes
    (75 pages, gay MCs)
This is another one of those where it's a companion spinoff to One of the author's other series and I do think that you can enjoy this one without having read those, but you do kind of miss out on the context of the coffee shop where they have their first chapter. I feel like this one is very middle of the road. It felt like a lot of repeating the same things over and over again instead of actually showing any sort of plot. I'm much would have preferred a scene or two with each play and Hunter actually being Little instead of the like dancing around conversation we got from them. Not bad but not great either. Pretty on par with the other M.A. Innes books I've read.

The Sheriff’s Troublemaker (MM) by Kelly Fox
(80 pages, gay MCs, may December age gap, black daddy)
I feel like this is the first story so far from the anthology that has been taken from another series and as a spin-off and I didn't feel like I was missing out. I have not read anything else by this author and it was noted at the beginning of the story that this is a spin-off and I couldn't tell. It was really refreshing to just be able to be connected to a character without having all of this extra backstory. I really liked the like hurt comfort aspect of this and the bad boy and the sheriff. I liked that even though there was a explicit scene, there was a lot of focus on emotional intimacy as well. Super solid story.

Far From Paradise (MM) by Daryl Banner
I wanted to like this and if one of our MCs was maybe two years older it would have been fine. But I can't get over the fact that one of our MCs is 18 years old and the other is in his 40s. I love an age gap and I'm not going to judge anyone for it but 18? Really? Would it have been so difficult to make him 19 or 20? Hell this kid didn't even finish high school and our other main character owns a successful business and is mid-forties. Like it's not even the 20-year age gap it's the fact that one of the main characters is so young. It felt odd to me especially because their relationship is built off of the kid, which I'm going to call him because he's a child, stealing from our other main character's business because he's homeless. Then our older MC takes his kid under his wing and lets him stay at his house and over the course of one weekend they have like fucked and started a relationship. It felt sleazy to me and even though the author went out of his way to say that the older MC was taking advantage of the kid, that's the only way that I could take it.

Daddy’s Bliss (FF) by Ava Sinclair
I'm almost mad at the story because it could have been so good but it fell super flat. There was a ton of potential except the author decided to just tell us after the fact versus showing us through the moments. It's a story about a tattoo artist and a florist and it hints at age play but there's none actually on page, which will let down for me. The story is super short and I was also disappointed in the fact that our daddy of the story has been a professional dumb before yet failed to even mention safe words before a sexual encounter. Like what? Are you kidding me? Anyway I'm more annoyed at this because it's like one of those things that you know could have easily been a favorite if there had been a little bit more effort put into it. CW for physical abuse from father, homophobia, and attempted sexual assault.

Cruising For A Daddy (MM) by Jacki James
This was fine. It's a cruise ship romance and a daddy boy cruise event type thing. Very much an insta-love deal.

Bite Me, Daddy (MM) By Mia Monroe
You know books that are so over the top cringy that you just have to continue to read them even though they're super awful? That's what the story was. It's not problematic in any way it's just so intensely cringy. It's basically about this guy and his boss and his boss is a vampire and they meet for a project and boss man tells the guy that he's a vampire and that he's his mate and they're faded and they're all of a sudden in love. And that's the whole thing. And like all of the language used is so ridiculous. Like they call each other lover and soulmate after having one single conversation. Like I'm laughing as I'm doing voice to text for this because it was so bad that it was funny.

Becoming Nicky’s Daddy (F/NB) by Reese Morrison
    (88 pages, 5+ stars)
    Gendergueer MC, queer butch MC.
I broke my rules and I read this one first. I have no regrets. I love everything by Reese Morrison and I'm obsessed with them so when I found out that they were going to have a story in this year's anthology I jumped. My brain is upset with me that I didn't read an order but I don't even care because of course this was amazing. I am such a sucker for best friends to lovers and the like questioning moments and intimacy that's shoved into this short story was phenomenal. Nicky and Mars are business owners and best friends on the same block. Nicky owns a bookstore and Mars owns a woodworking shop. They both have these notions about who and what they're attracted to and they both have to kind of confront that and realize that maybe it's okay if labels change. Nicky has been exclusively attracted to men and Mars has been exclusively attracted to women but they have such a connection that they realize that maybe it isn't gender that they are attracted to but masculinity and dominance and femininity respectively.

I really loved these two figuring out the relationship and of course I wanted to be longer, but I always want short stories too longer. I do think that Reese Morrison did a wonderful job of packing in a lot of content in such a short story and they always do a great job at getting readers emotionally invested in their characters. I would not be surprised if this is my favorite story from this anthology.

Dante’s Daddy (MM) by Maren Smith
This is one of those stories that you can tell has been highly edited to make it a short story and in doing so it loses any sort of depth or interesting moments because the author has chosen to make it so smooth and so simple and so idealistic that it's false. This story would make a great full length novel but as a short story it it felt like a shiny coating of something without actually getting to the inside.

Not A Bad Boy (MM) by Morticia Knight
This one fell into some of the pitfalls of the previous story where it loses a little bit of substance because the author has shortened it or just chosen to gloss over some bits but I think this one did a better job of still having some interesting parts. Everything goes perfectly smooth and there is no drama or angst or anything. They say the right thing every time and it's an insecure and blah blah blah whatever, but the characters were interesting so I'll give that. It'd make a great full length book.

Surprising Their Secretary (MMF) by Jamie Merrick
This was a really solid story and I am disappointed that it ended on a sex scene like for real? I don't know I think that's super tacky honestly to end your story with an explicit scene. For me that gives the vibe that sex is the version of happily ever after that that author is trying to portray and that's uncomfortable for me. There was also a comment in this one that made me extra uncomfortable about how someone was basically asexual because they hadn't had sex. Stop using the term asexual when you mean celibate. And then there was some weird extra gendering. Like instead of just saying man or woman they would continuously comment on male or female in regards to a prospective partner. Like bro, first off gender is a spectrum and let's get out of that binary context but also why are we referring to people by their sex? I don't know I didn't vibe with it.

    Glut (MM) by Gianni Holmes
This one is really good and definitely one of the better ones of this anthology. I'm always on the lookout for non monogamous relationship representation and this one has it. There is a big age gap and it is too short but that's okay It is a short story. Basically there's the boy (24) who enjoys gangbangs and the daddy (52) who rescues him from his shitty boyfriend and shows him that it is possible to have a committed relationship and still have all of his sexual desires etc.

Daddy Material (MM) by Emma Alcott
This was surprisingly good. I wasn't sure at first but by about halfway through I was invested. I liked the way that it was kind of told as a flashback style instead of in the moment. I do wish our 1 MC was a year or two older cuz I always struggle with 18-year-old MC's who end up with love interest 20 years older. Ah this is a dad's best friend kind of deal and I do wish there was like a little moment where we got the reaction from his dad and then the daddy's son because he has a son the same age as the MC. But as a whole it was one of the better ones from this anthology.

The Daddy Upgrade (MM) by Chara Croft
    (70 pages, 3.5 stars)
Gay MCs, daddy/boy, hints at age play but nothing on page. This one moves very quickly and it's very little actual plot but it was so cute. Basically this guy named Ollie gets dumped by his super asshole boyfriend at the airport and his favorite customer (he's a barista) saves the day who just happens to be in the same airport at the same time. Yves saves the day and whisks Ollie away back to New York and promises him forever. It is a little bit weird just in how fast it all moves but with anthologies like this you usually have characters who at least vaguely know each other so it wasn't as strange. There was a big focus on communication before anything really got started and that was appreciated.

Austin’s Unexpected Little (FF) by Siobhan Smile
(70 pages, lesbian MCs, 13 yr age gap)
I feel like I don't know what to expect Siobhan Smile. On one hand, they wrote one of my favorite stories in last year's dirty Daddy's pride anthology and they have another book called Shug's Daddy which was amazing. But then they have a book that was absolutely horrendous and this short story falls somewhere between that. It's definitely not as good as last year's story was but it wasn't bad. There are some questionable elements that I don't like about their writing where they don't really include a lot of conversation about limits and such and it just kind of gets assumed or like bulldozed over and it almost feels like they try and get away with it because the story in particular is sapphic. As if problematic behavior by dominant women is somehow acceptable and not problematic. It's weird to just call someone pet names and assume that they want some sort of specific BDSM relationship with you. This one is about neighbors, one who was married and has not been divorced for a couple years and it's a little bit insecure in her own existence. And then there is her butch neighbor who has basically been in love with her for like years (which feels weird to be but maybe it's the aro in me) without even knowing her. The relationship moves fairly quick and I don't know I just feel conflicted about the story.

Wanted: Hot Daddy (MM) by Sammi Cee
    (. Gay MCs)
This was fine. I am glad that I somehow read this series by this author earlier this month just out of chance. there's a huge time jump in this that I realize is probably because it's a short story but I would have wished they had a little bit more of a development on their relationship instead of seeing one of our main characters go from an insecure asshole two perfect boy. I mean overall it's fine, it's whatever. I feel like it would have made a good full-length book though.

Daddy’s Gachapon Boy (MM) by Della Cain
Solid, very typical Della Cain story. It's sweet and fluffy and I would've liked more but as a short story, it's solid.

Three Daddies (MMMF) by Mika Lane
Definitely my least favorite so far. There was zero substance and I'm not really here for books where a woman drops all of her aspirations for men. Also, please stop using the words juices/juicy when talking about sex and genitals, hard pass.

    Opal (MM) by Lesley Clark
Hm. I don't like mafia romances. It's not cool or fun or original to romanticize murder and the mafia. It's problematic and I'm not here for it. I also just hate people who use fear to get respect. Like maybe don't be a dick and people will be kind to you instead of actually theating to murder people to be treated with respect.

Tucking In (MM) by P.D. Carter
Ugh. You can't write a story and try and be inclusive by using the entire LGBTQIA plus acronym and then turning around and using terms like goldstar gay man and refusing to call people by the names they want while also talking about how much you hate vaginas. Hard pass.

Dani’s Dominant Daddy (FF) by Delia Grace
Things I really loved about this story
    -sapphic age gap
    -single mom Little
    -teacher Daddy
-variety of age play representation instead of it all being MM or MF
-kink started out 100% platonic and was appreciated for what it was (not all kink needs to be sexual and I loved this part)
-when it did turn sexual, it wasn't over the top and the two still placed great value on the nonsexual side of their kink
-the Daddy didn't take over and solve all the Littles problems. She praised her for being a great mom and doing her best without swooping in to pay for everything or whisk them away from their situation
-ita not insta love. They set a specific amount of time to test a platonic kink relationship and go from there
Yet somehow, despite having all these elements that I love and appreciate to see in a queer kink anthology, I still didn't love it and I can't quite figure out why. I think for me, I missed the multiple perspectives. All we know about the Daddy is that she's a teacher with grown kids. Like that's it. They don't really share any of their personal moments and that bugged me. I need some connection. It doesn't need to be romantic or sexual at all, in fact, I prefer it didn't, but I still want deep important emotional connection.

His Second Chance Daddy (MM) by Lorelei M Hart
This was fine. I really like second chance romances but the mpreg part of it threw me off and was really unnecessary to be honest. I don't know it's just not my thing.

Cuddly Mafia Daddy by Aster Rae
The MCs name is Dverek. Yeah. That's right, Dverek. And they talk about fucking stuffed animals. I'm out. Hard pass. DNF

Codename: Omega (MM) by Dakota Trace
Definitely one of the best ones! I was worried it's be a shifter or another mpreg but it's not, it's literally just a codename. It's centered about this system that helps abused Littles and when Ashton finds himself in the care of Daddy Giles, he knows he isn't supposed to catch feels, but get back on his feet, except it doesn't quite go to plan.

Breaking and Entering (MMF) by Chloe Lynn Ellis
The story's fine I guess. I'm not a huge fan of using sex to manipulate people but I guess that's their thing. It's also pretty much all sex so whatever.

Daddy’s Guarding (MM) by Pepper North
Yeah I'm not reading this. Pepper North's book in last year's anthology was one of the most, if not the most, problematic book I've read regarding kink and bdsm and I'm not wasting any time or energy on another story by them.

Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One (MM) by Nora Phoenix
    (62 pages, 4 stars)
Gay MCs, may December age gap, MC over 50 with HIV.
So I've been anticipating this one because it features secondary characters from Nora Phoenix's duology that came out this year called New Daddy at 47 and I do think that this is one of those stories that you can read it without having read that duology but it's going to be confusing. I don't think they spent enough time really establishing why Leif and Frank both had relationships with Ben and Kinsey and if you didn't know about the duology this one could be very odd. Having read the duology, I loved it. I thought it was super good and exactly the story I was looking for for both Leif and Frank. As per usual I wish it would have been a little bit longer and I feel like I feel even more strongly about that because this is a spin-off from the duology which got two full-length books and then to have a 60-page story is a little bit disappointing. I mean obviously I knew it was going to be a short story but would another 20 pages kill you? Anyway, I did really like this one, super good. Highly recommend.

kA was ich da geben soll. Es gab welche da hätte ich mir ein ganzes Buch gewünscht, manche waren nett und andere habe ich übersprungen.

  • Karen Komarinski

This Review is for Pepper North’s Novella Daddy’s Guarding
This such a sweet story from start to finish. I have loved the ABC Towers stories & to get this Novella is a great gift & surprise. Alan Phillips is from a small town & has come to Edgewaters industry for an interview for the position of maintenance worker. Alan not only was surprised by his attraction to Pete; he then found himself being shown the way to HR by Easton Edgewater. This story is full of love, being one’s self and acceptance. I’m looking forward to reading the other stories apart of this years Dirty Daddies Pride 2022

  • Autumn Galloway

    Breaking and Entering….

Oh. My. God….. this book is hot!

I love the connection that is between these three. The way they compliment each other is amazing. The brat and the good boy and the Daddy that needs them just as much as they need him. So damn good. I definitely recommend this book if you are into caretakers and the ones they care for.

I can’t wait to read the rest!

  • Denise GremoryKohta

I preordered this as soon as it became available to and have been chomping at the bit for it. Amazingly one of the authors that I’ve been most dying to read the story of offered up an arc of their story. Yep I immediately read it. Chara Croft’s The Daddy Upgrade is a perfect fit for this anthology. I absolutely adore Ollie. Im so glad he found his perfect Daddy. Yves is a major upgrade from the loser Ollie was with before. Im still hoping karma is kicking Grant’s tail hard. This has just the right blend of sweet, naught, and sexy that we have come to love from Chara Croft.
I have never read any of Chloe Lynn Ellis’s work so when I got the chance to get an arc of their contribution to this anthology I jumped on it. Let me tell you this is why I love anthologies. I found a new author to love. Breaking and Entering was amazing. Once you read sweet Jason and spunky Allie you will see that Victor is just what they need. Man it was so good.
I swear I literally squealed when I was given the arc for M. A. Innes contribution called A Dino Nugget Kind of Date. I’ve been wanting Tony and Loki’s story. It’s part of the One of Those Days series but you don’t need to have read them first. I would because it’ll give you a better understanding of the coffee shop and Skylar. Plus the whole series is awesome. Major kudos for turning a bad first date into a beautiful HEA.
Daddy’s Toy by K. M. Neuhold has so many things I loved about it. Friends to lovers is my favorite. Add the Daddy kink and you have another one of my favorites. What I really loved was what their jobs were. I enjoy when authors flip the script a bit.
Kelly Fox gave us a story I was really wanting. Jason and Justin have been hurting so much. Patrick was just who Jason needed. Now fingers crossed that we get a few other guy’s stories.
I love Jacki James’ work and even though the chapters were a bit confusing, Cruising For A Daddy was such a sweet read. I hope we see more of these guys especially since we need a Daddy for Carey.
Another favorite of mine is Reese Morrison. Becoming Nicky’s Daddy is a prime example why. I love friends to lovers and all the layers of sexuality and sexual attraction getting represented is so important. Like the characters this author is unique and beautifully talented.

    1. Glut by Gianni Holmes
    4 out of 5 stars

I received an ARC of this short story from Gianni Holmes. I really liked Riley and Blake as a couple. I felt like they complemented each other well. Riley needed someone who would love him and not try to change him. Blake needed someone to care for. I will be honest and say that some of the kinks are not for me (gangbanging, sharing), but I kept an open mind and was pleasantly surprised by the relationship that Gianni was able to cultivate in such a short time. There were lots of unanswered questions at the end, but she is looking to expand this into a full novel, so I know all of those will be answered in the future. The endearments "Little Butterfly" and others were so sweet, and I did like the suckling kink. I will be interested to see this as a full novel as there is so much potential in this relationship.

    2. The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft
    5 out of 5 stars

I received an ARC of this short story from Chara Croft. Oh goodness....this was the perfect Daddy/little story for me. Ollie and Yves know each other from work. Ollie is a barista and Yves comes in often since his business is the the same building. Yves was attracted to Ollie but was in a relationship during most of the time, so he never acted upon his attraction. Plus he was looking for a boy not just someone to date. After a chance encounter in the Orlando airport where Yves witnesses Ollie's current "boyfriend" degrade, humiliate, and dump him, he steps in and offers to be the Daddy that Ollie so desperately needs and wants. Ollie tugged at my heartstrings. He only wanted someone to love him, care for him, and keep him. I just wanted to give him a big hug. The whole story just was a perfect set-up for their relationship. Both were exactly what the other needed. Chara was able to insert the right amount of sweetness and sexiness in this story. I would not be opposed to seeing more of Ollie and Daddy Yves in the future.
"I would have to make him mine, because I was, quite firmly and completely, already his." -Daddy Yves

    3. A Dino Nuggets Kind of Date by M.A. Innes
    4 out of 5 stars

I received an ARC from Shaw Montgomery for my honest review.

Readers of Innes’ “Kind of Day” series will recognize Loki and Tony from Skylar’s coffee shop. These two have had a contentious relationship since a really bad date. Loki (aka Hunter) is embarrassed that he was unable to let go and enjoy the date due to his hidden kinks, so he snarks at Tony during their coffee shop interactions. Tony (aka Robyn) cannot remember Loki’s real name but he blames himself for the end of the date and his inability to read Loki—especially since he is a Daddy. With interference from Skylar and Remy, these two learn that they are looking for the exact same thing. This was just a sweet, sweet story and I enjoyed seeing these two open up to see how perfect they are for each other. It was interesting to watch Robyn figure out what Hunter needed and provide it for him. A great addition to the series!

    4. Daddy's Toy by K.M. Neuhold
    4.5 out of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this story about Robbie, a successful business owner, and Nate, an online content maker for Playmates. Daddy Nate and Robbie are roommates, but they both want so much more. I was a little confused as to how they became roommates since they are both very successful and well-off, but it was a minor plot point. The relationship has been building for years and it was so sweet to see them become more than just roommates and friends.

    5. The Sheriff's Troublemaker by Kelly Fox
    3 out of 5 stars

Jason Jennings has been struggling since coming out to his parents. He and his brother Justin have been self-destructing. Jason keeps trying to gain the attention of Sheriff Patrick by trying to get arrested. He wants to be disciplined and cared for. I really felt for the Jennings brothers and didn't like how the town just watched them and judged them. I also didn't really care for Sheriff Daddy Patrick. Honestly, I felt like he jerked Jason around a lot. Very hot and cold. Then when something finally happened, he ignored Jason (while watching Jason fall apart from the sidelines) due to worrying about his job. I just didn't feel like he gave enough consideration for Jason's needs.

    6. Far from Paradise by Daryl Banner
    3.5 out of 5 stars

This was a very sweet story about Seany, a boy running from an abusive homelife, and Cooper, an older bar owner. I did really like these two, but it felt very superficial. I know it's a short story and there is a word count to consider, but there seemed to be a lot of untold story here. I really liked the characters and would have enjoyed seeing their story fleshed out a little more.

    7. Daddy's Bliss by Ava Sinclair
    5 out of 5 stars

I don't read a lot of FF, but man this was phenomenal! I loved Bliss and how we felt her pain from the moment she was introduced. The way she and Tandy came together felt natural and organic. I loved how Tandy was a Daddy and wanted to take care of Bliss. Bliss' backstory was heartbreaking. I could not put this down. It was perfect.

    8. Cruising For a Daddy by Jacki James
    3.5 out of 5 stars

The idea of a Daddy/boy cruise was a great one. I just didn't get a lot of emotional connection from Adam and Ollie. I wonder if we will see Casey in the future.

    9. Bite Me, Daddy by Mia Monroe
    3.5 out of 5 stars

Scout has been attracted to his new boss, Sebastian, for several months. While working on a project together, Scout finds out Sebastian's secret. I loved this addition to Mia Monroe's Covens of Eaton Falls. I haven's had a chance to read her other books yet, but I am anxious to now after reading this short story. I liked the supernatural aspects of the story and the epilogue was perfect.

    10. Becoming Nicky's Daddy by Reese Morrison
    4.5 out of 5 stars

I adore Reese's stories because they always give me something that I've usually not read before. We have Mars, a butch lesbian furniture builder, and Nicky, an NB bookstore owner who's looking for a Daddy. Mars and Nicky have a great friendship with Mars mentoring Nicky in the nitty gritty of being a business owner. Mars feels more for Nicky, but is resistant to pursue them because she thinks she doesn't have the right parts. I absolutely loved how these two moved their friendship into the perfect relationship for them. It was pretty steamy as well. I'm not sure how Reese was able to cram in so much character/relationship development into such a short story, but I loved every moment of it.

    11. Dante's Daddy by Maren Smith
    2 out of 5 stars

This was not my favorite. I wasn't really feeling the main character who was engaged and getting married in two weeks to hide his sexuality. Then we have Master Campbell who was grieving his boyfriend/submissive's death for over 4 years. He is assigned to Dante and in a matter of moments goes from not being able to be his Daddy to wanting to be his permanent Daddy. I got whiplash. Then there was no real resolution at the end. Is he going to continue working at the Castle? Are they going to make a relationship work? It felt incomplete.

    12. Not a Bad Boy by Morticia Knight
    4 out of 5 stars

Tyler is an unusual boy covered in tattoos and piercings. He feels like no Daddy will ever want him. Rafe proves him wrong. I really loved these two together. They proved that you shouldn't judge someone on how they look.

    13. Surprising Their Secretary (MMF) by Jamie Merrick
    2.5 out of 5 stars

This was fine. There wasn't enough emotional connection for me. Jordan had been working for married men Shaun and Dylan for awhile unaware that they had been looking for their third, a Little girl. Upon meeting at a munch, they embark upon a relationship together. I didn't really know enough about all of these characters. Not even what they looked like. Why were they drawn to Jordan? Besides the fact that she was a great secretary. Just not for me.

    14. Daddy Material by Emma Alcott
    4 out of 5 stars

Aiden is going to be living with his father's best friend while attending college. One of my biggest questions about this story is if this is his father's best friend, how have they never met or even seen pictures of each other? Also, I would not be okay with my potential boyfriend texting my dad a play-by-play of my attempted seductions. I mean, I do appreciate that he was honest with the father, but actually texting him while Aiden was trying to flirt? Nah. I did really like the epilogue and the focus on the stain in the bedroom. That was really sweet.

    15. Austin's Unexpected Little by Siobhan Smile
    4.5 out of 5 stars

I think if I've learned anything from this anthology it's that I need to read more FF fiction. This was another great story. I loved Daddy Austin and her pursuit of shy older Constance. It was sweet and steamy- a perfect combination.

    16. Wanted: Hot Daddy by Sammi Cee
    4 out of 5 stars

Bratty Hayden has made life difficult for the other boys at The Tap Tavern. He hides behind his brattiness and attitude. Daddy Waylon is able to see beneath that to the boy underneath. This was an enjoyable addition to the Fragile Hearts series. I really liked seeing how Waylon helped Hayden blossom and the ending was perfect. I also adored the nickname that he gave Hayden. Looking forward to more of this series.

    17. Daddy's Gachapon Boy by Della Cain
    4.5 out of 5 stars

I loved this one so much. Another installment in the Collard series. Monroe is looking for a different kind of boy and Jax doesn't even know that he is needs a Daddy. I loved the nickname that Monroe gave him. I actually had to look up what Gachapon meant, but I loved the uniqueness of it. I could have easily read more of these two.

    18. Three Daddies (MMMF) by Mika Lane
    2 out of 5 stars

This was just not for me. Lexi is portrayed as this perfect woman in looks and every man wants her. That's hard to relate to. Plus, I think it's hard in a short story to build a polyam relationship like this. I know nothing about these people but that they are gorgeous, rich, and successful. The sex scenes are hot, but I didn't see a lasting foundation.

    19. Opal by Lesley Clark
    3.5 out of 5 stars

This was a new author for me. It seems to be part of a Mafia-themed series. I enjoyed Frankie and Mario and would be interested to read more of them in the future. It end with a HFN with no resolution on one of the plot points. Apparently, that plot point will be addressed in a future book.

    20. Tucking In by P.D. Carter
    3 out of 5 stars

Tucker is heading home after his estranged best friend's death to attend his funeral. He and Alex had been best friends until Tucker admitted he was gay. Alex kicked him out of his home, life, and town. He also has to face Alex's big brother, BJ, who Tucker has always had a crush on. I did like the plot and the characters. Alex was way harsh to both his brother and Tucker and it's sad that he died before being able to make amends. I think this is a story that could have used just a little bit more. There were so many emotions and I would have liked to have read more about all of these characters.

    21. Dani's Dominant Daddy by Delia Grace
    2.5 out of 5 stars

This was a fine story. I didn't feel much of a connection between Dani and Katherine. The Daddy/LG relationship was strange. I felt for Dani as she was trying to balance so much as a single mother to Tyler.

    22. His Second Chance Daddy by Lorelei Hart
    4 out of 5 stars

A very sweet story about high school sweethearts who reunite after 30+ years. Andre and Penn drifted apart when they went to college. Penn got married, had children and grandchildren, and became a widower. He meets Andre again at a local college fair. It was just a sweet reconnection story where these two men who loved each other found each other again. Loved it. I'm not sure I would classify it as Daddy kink- maybe Daddy-kink lite. It was barely there more implied, but I actually didn't mind.

    23. Cuddly Mafia Daddy by Aster Rae
    2 out of 5 stars

Instalove and over the top sex/declarations/metaphors are not really my thing. I always love the ideas and blurbs, but I am definitely a person who needs more emotional connection and romance in a story.

    24. Codename:Omega by Dakota Trace
    3.5 out of 5 stars

I feel like there was a lot of background info I didn’t have—for instance the Sanctuary Little program, but I did really enjoy Angel and Giles. They seemed to complement each other well. I do wish we could have seen what happened when Angel went home. I’m interested to see more of this world.

    25. Breaking and Entering (MMF) by Chloe Lynn Elliz
    2 out of 5 stars

I just think maybe MMF is not my thing. I didn’t like Allison at all. I didn’t enjoy her manipulations and the way she treated Jason. I did like Jason and Victor though. I think others would like this more than me. It was very well written.

    26. Daddy's Guarding by Pepper North
    2.5 out of 5 stars

I don’t think I’ve ever read a Pepper North book, but it was okay. Alan gets a job working at Edgewood Towers and meets Pete. It’s almost instalove as the relationship happens at the speed of light. Also, how did Pete know that Alan was a Little? I didn’t understand that part.

    27. Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One by Nora Phoenix
    4.5 out of 5 stars

I loved the duology that this story came from, so this was a winner for me. I was excited to see Leif and Daddy Frank’s story. It was short and sweet and the ending was perfect. Though I do wish we had gotten to see Leif’s reaction to what Frank had planned.

This was a very enjoyable anthology!! ❤️

Daddy’s Toy (m/m) by KM Neuhold
Yum. A growly daddy and a submissive man. I liked these two, kind of rolled by eyes at how long it took them to figure out they were into each other. The chemistry was v hot.

Loki & Tony (m/m) by MA Innes
Meh. Didn’t work for me. I couldn’t quite keep track of the names/nicknames and who was who.

The Sheriff’s Troublemaker (mm) by Kelly Fox
Finally! Justin and the Sheriff get their HEA. I loved Ms. Fox’s intro to the story, and how she was urged by readers to write about Justin’s redemption. The story didn’t flow well for me. I understood the obstacles that made their relationship hard (impossible?) but didn’t feel as satisfied as I hoped I would by the resolution. Still a good story, with classic Ms. Fox banter and humor. Oh, and because this is Ms. Fox, I was also leaking tears for most of the story.

Far From Paradise (m/m) by Daryl Banner
An 18yo runaway, who has been living on the streets for a while, and the older man who takes a chance and lets him stay with him. It’s a nice story, tho it felt a bit rushed.

Daddy’s Bliss (f/f) by Ava Sinclair
A perfect confection of a story about a woman who has hidden who she is from everyone, especially herself and the woman who wants to be her Daddy. (I hate the patriarchy, but I love that Daddy is being used a a role name, not just for guys.) The story is a sweet coming into oneself, discovering what you really need and full of love.

Cruising for a Daddy (m/m) by Jacki James
Two boys, just graduated from college, take a kinky cruise, looking for their Daddies. Insta-lust and insta-love, it’s sweet.

Bite Me, Daddy (m/m) by Mia Monroe
An interesting (paranormal) take on the Daddy kink. I liked the story.

Becoming Nicky’s Daddy (nb/f) by Reese Morrison
A sweet story featuring a femme non-binary person and a v butch lesbian. This is a friends-to-lovers story, and the journey is good.

Dante’s Daddy (m/m) by Maren Smith
A sweet southern boy, tormented by the fact that he is gay, and his family won’t accept him, and is so deep in the closet that he is engaged to marry a woman. He escapes for a weekend of kink, so he can taste what he will be missing. And finds out that his kink is to be a Little, and the Dom he’s assigned to is a Daddy Dom, with plenty of baggage of his own. It’s a pretty good story.

Not a Bad Boy (m/m) by Morticia Knight
A Little whose exterior does not match his interior, and the man he meets who proves to be his perfect daddy.

Surprising Their Secretary (m/m/f) by Jamie Merrick
Eh. Good idea, but the execution fell flat for me.

    Glut (m/m) by Gianni Holmes
Interesting. A story about a baby boy who really enjoys (needs) gang bangs, and the daddy he finds who appreciates all of him, including that. I can’t say that I’ve ever thought of group sex like this, but it made sense to me.

Daddy Material (m/m) by Emma Alcott
A sweet little boy and Daddy story, with the Daddy being the best friend of the boy’s father. I liked this one.

The Daddy Upgrade (m/m) by Chara Croft
What starts as a disastrous weekend getaway turns into a meet cute between a baby boy and the Daddy of his dreams. Big wish fulfillment here, and I liked it.

Austin’s Unexpected Little (f/f) by Siobhan Smile
I loved this romance. A butch lesbian, younger than her love interest, who is an older femme lesbian. The love and caring from the Daddy in this one is rich and satisfying. And watching the baby girl rediscover her self-worth and sensuality is wonderful.

Wanted: Hot Daddy (m/m) by Sami Nee
A good Daddy/little boy story, where a particularly bitchy boy, in desperate need of love, finds the right Daddy to break down his walls. I liked this one.

Daddy’s Gachapon Boy (m/m) by Della Cain
A sweet boy (who really needs a Daddy) and how he meets the Daddy of his dreams. With some cute Japanese toys and a love of Japan thrown in.

Three Daddies (m/m/m/f) by Mika Lane
An interesting rags to riches story. With a lot of sex, all of it very liberated, not bogged down in angst and emotion. I liked this one - the wish fulfillment was good.

    Opal (m/m) by Lesley Clark
Good. A mafia capo meets a forbidden boy. It’s a bit over the top, but it worked for me.

Tucking In (m/) by PD Carter
Eh. I liked the concept, but there was too much pain and loss to get there.

Dani’s Dominant Daddy (f/f) by Delia Grace
A tough setup for this one. A single mom with an autistic child, who is completely on her own and overwhelmed. It’s very “ooof”. The mom meets an older woman who becomes her mentor, her Daddy and her lover. It’s super satisfying and sweet. I really liked this one.

His Second Chance Daddy (m/m) by Lorelei M Hart
A sweet second chance romance, set in an omega/alpha world, it’s a nice read, comforting.

Cuddly Mafia Daddy (m/m) by Aster Rae
Eh. The Littles Land was over the top for me. As was the bratva assassin who falls in insta-lust and instal-love with his boy.

Codename: Omega (m/m) by Dakota Trace
An omega underground rescue org, which sounds like a wonderful idea, but way too good to be true.

Breaking and Entering (m/f/m) by Chloe Lynn Ellis
A young couple who are horny all the time, and the friend who becomes their Daddy. It’s a fun little (hah) story.

Daddy’s Guarding (m/m) by Pepper North
Eh. This is set in what I assume is an existing Daddy/Mommy Dom and Littles world, all enclosed in a perfectly safe and comfortable village (corporate complex). It’s a little saccharine for my tastes, but it’s nice enough.

Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One (m/m) by Nora Phoenix
A cute short featuring Leif, Benito’s roommate (from the Kinsey and Ben duology) and a colleague of Kinsey’s. It’s a sweet story, with two men who are very difference on the surface, but whose broken edges fit together quite well.

    Bought from kindle.

I’m picking stories I want to read from this, not necessarily reading in order.

Piper Scott/Emma Alcotts story was beautiful snd sexy and sweet. Love how it ties into the masters of romance!

I jumped around and read a few more stories from the authors I know and love. Glad that this was put together (and I believe it went to a good cause?)

This anthology was simply phenomenal and I couldn’t put it down; as soon as it my library, I was reading it! I loved that these authors got together to give us something was hard to put down and introduce people to new authors while helping the world understand that love is love, no matter what or who. The love, steam, connection and chemistry in each story was amazing and I even found a couple of new authors that I will be reading their other books. I would highly recommend this anthology and I want to say thanks to these awesome authors.

    ARCs are as follows:
    Sammi Cee’s Hot Daddy
I thought that this was a great book. Waylan and Hayden were fantastic together. Hayden was a major brat almost rude all the time until Waylan realized exactly what was happening. Hayden as longed for a hot daddy just for him and he got exactly what he wanted and needed in Waylan. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the rest of this series!
Morticia Knight’s Not a Bad Boy
Loved this book! Tyler was amazing; I loved how sweet he was even when his outside doesn’t reflect it. Rafe has wanted a boy just for himself and when he sees Tyler, he knows that he may have just found him. Rafe is exactly who Tyler needs and wants in his life and Rafe is honored that Tyler trust him as he does. I can’t wait to see what happens with these two later!
    Mika Lane’s Three Daddies
This is actually Ms. Mika’s first time writing an MM romance, and I thought it was great. I really liked Lexi and her guys, Timo, Danny, and Chance. Lexi is who Timo, Chance, and Danny needed in their lives. After struggling for years, Timo is finally able to fully accept himself, he gets to be with the three other people that mean the world to him. I really hope that we get more books like this from Ms. Mika.

ARC review of "Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One" by Nora Phoenix

Ever since I read Nora’s 47 duology I’ve been impatiently waiting for Leif and Frank’s story. They were both characters I came to love and I desperately wanted to see them together and happy, so I was beyond excited when Nora announced that their story would be featured in the Dirty Daddy anthology.

I’ve honestly lost count of the amount of times I’ve read this story and I just love it so much. The way their relationship developed felt very seamless and they were so open and honest with each other which I adored. Their dynamic was really hot and I wish that there was more of their story, because I wasn’t ready to let them go at the end. “Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One” contained everything I could have wanted for them and it was such a wholesome story.

Parts of the story overlaps with the 47 books, but from Frank and Leif’s PoV. It was very well written and the pacing was on point - I usually find that short stories feel rushed or that the pacing is off, but this one had a great balance. It mostly felt like a natural extension of the chemistry and attraction between them that was present in Ben and Kinsley’s story.

I think you will get the most out of this story if you have the background and some context from the 47 duology, but it definitely works on its own as well.

I received a copy of The Daddy Upgrade by Chara Croft! If this book is any indication to how amazing this anthology will be we are in for a treat! This book was so amazing and so much fun! I soooo wish it was longer but even though it was a short story it was packed full of so much love, affection and steam! Chara Croft seriously knows how to do a short story! I’m absolutely in love with Ollie and Yves. The affection and love between these men was so powerful that I could feel it through the pages. Ollie admired Yves so much and all Yves wanted to do was take care of his sweet boy. This book was an absolute blast to read and I’m so excited for the whole anthology to come out!

I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my honest review.

I read Three Daddies by Mika Lane.

Wow! This is one hot story!

I loved this book! Lexi is struggling to make it as a model in LA when a friend of hers will set her up on a dating website that will change her life. It will start with photographer, Timo. He will end up offering to be her Daddy but it doesn’t stop there. Their group will grow to add in chef Chance and make up artist Danny. A great opportunity will take her to New York and it will end up with her being offered all of her wildest dreams. Or so she thought. In the end, she realizes that she has everything she could ever want and need with her three daddies and it’s the way she wants it to stay.

I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.
