When inexperienced nanny April goes to work for a hotshot pilot, she’s in for some unexpected turbulence.

April left behind her dreams to become a professional dancer the day she learned her work contract was for a gentlemen’s club instead of a theatre. She’s waiting tables and trying desperately to avoid the stage when she gets an opportunity to take a job as a nanny on idyllic planet Ulfgard. The previous nanny storms out of the fancy penthouse screaming about the awful kids, but April can’t wait to roll up her sleeves and help. It’s their intimidating, achingly gorgeous father who has her stomach in knots.

Khall Rivvor is a war hero – a hotshot Jordraaki pilot who gained even more unwanted fame for his good looks. All he wants is a quiet home life. But the arrival of the new nanny has turned his world upside down. And while April works her magic with Bolynne’s hot temper and Minerva’s shyness, she’s weaving a spell over Khall’s heart, too. It’s all he can do to remind himself that she’s young and she’s depending on him for a roof over her head. He can’t give in to the need to touch her, even if it’s tearing him apart.

When danger from April’s past surfaces, Khall’s protective instincts go into hyperdrive. But it’s April who will have to face her fears and step up to protect the people she loves. Will Khall surrender to desire and open his heart to her in spite of everything? Or is this pilot destined to fly solo?

April is brought in as a nanny for Bo—a young girl who is prone to tantrums—and Minerva, a quiet teenage girl. Khall, Minerva and Bo’s father, is a pilot who spends money spoiling his children rather than spending his time with them.

April is a new nanny with minimal training, so I understood her initial missteps when it came to watching the children. It became uncomfortable when she focused more on her attraction to Khall than on her responsibility for his children. She wasn’t a bad nanny, per se, but it felt like she was being “homey” for the sake of Khall—if that makes sense.

The favoring of young Bo over Minerva from Khall (and to a lesser extent, April) was obvious, and maybe that was the point. I was completely shocked when Minerva was introduced because she never even entered Khall’s thoughts when he was reflecting on being a father in his first chapter.

Khall was a better father than the main character of the previous book (Ra’as from
Alien Architect Needs a Nanny). I loved how quick he was to apologize and do better.

For all my qualms and frustrations with this book, I flew through it. I really like how the previous wives in the series (who died fighting a war) are respected and admired by every single character. It could’ve easily gone another way, but it never even drifted in that direction.

That was a perfectly trashy romance. Silly, with no whiff of reality, it was just what I needed to get me out of a post-holiday funk. No deep issues, no 3D characters, just lots of lust and smut and a hint of a plot. The sci-fi aspect was simply a device employed by the author to get even farther away from the technological and psychological limitations of real life. Despite the amateurish narrative, I actually enjoyed reading this short book. But I won't be reading more of this author. One was enough.

    Two lost and lonely souls

This story starts off with a new nanny and a hard nosed captain. Then a warm and loving woman saw the best in each member of this family. The children learned what a positive influence is and how it makes you feel. Well worth reading.

    Cute and different.

Occasionally I'll dip into the alien romance area. I was looking for a light, free book to start my new year reading goal and Khall and April's book popped up. This was a quick read, I haven't read this author before and I didn't start with book one. I didn't feel like their was a continuation from the first book or setup that I missed. Tasha fleshed out the plot well and while I feel like there could have been more drama from April's problem or more backstory for both her and Khall I can confidently drop 4 stars. I will probably snap up another book from the series at some point.

The Alien Nanny Agency continues with another installment, every bit as wonderful as the series debut was! April and Khall are just what each other needs, and little Bo and teenage Minerva are absolutely adorable. Alien Pilot Needs a Nanny is the kind of read that you’ll want to read in one sitting, equal parts steamy, heartwarming, and action-packed. Looking forward to the next in the series, Alien Ruler Needs a Nanny, coming this summer!
April may be inexperienced at being a nanny, but she definitely needs this job. So she’s determined to make it work. Even if Khall Rivvor is equal parts attractive and infuriating. Little Bo is a bundle of energy and passion and needs more than anything else patience and understanding. And teenage Minerva may be reserved, nose often stuck in a book while she’s shut up in her room, but she’s needs care and attention every bit as much as her baby sister. Not to mention that Khall needs a calming influence in his home life, someone to interpret and intermediate when it comes to his daughters at times.
But Khall isn’t ready for April to be that person, not when he’s already having a hard enough time resisting her. Not when he needs her there for Bo, and can’t risk messing that up to pursue his nearly irresistible nanny who has the biggest heart. He continues fighting against what seems to be inevitable, because April isn’t for him, despite the fact that his every possessive instinct insists otherwise. And, as some of April’s secrets and past come to light, it becomes clear that she’s gotten under his skin in more ways than one.

This was an enjoyable alien romance with a single dad falling for his nanny. Khall was a man who was struggling to be a good dad, deal with the tragic loss of his wife, and continue to work. When the newest nanny April appears he realizes how he, and his kids, had just been going through the motions and there had been very little joy in their lives. April was a very happy and outgoing woman who went out of her way to reach through to these kids. She got to know them and actually helped them through the last of their grief and allowed them to move on with their life and in turn they gave her a home and a family that loved her for who she was.

April was a wonderful MFC and I really liked how caring she was. We really need more April’s who care about kids like she does because the world would be such a better place if there were. April’s backstory was heartbreaking but I loved how strong she was and that she didn’t wait for someone to save her. She tried to save herself first, even if it meant breaking the law. April and Thall’s relationship was sweet and slowly grew as April slowly healed his family. The romance is definitely more closed door than on page but I still enjoyed it. Overall this was good and I would read more of this series.

I am just loving the series. The premise of the series is the men “alien men“ were off fighting to save their planet when the enemy closedown on their planet. In order to hold them off until the men could get back the females put up a good fight. They all save the day but the end result was most of the females dying. Now the men are left with children who need nannies. In this book we meet April, she came from a big family, and got herself in a bit of trouble and with no help from her family she’s off to become a nanny. That is when she meets their father Khall. He is healed as a hero, and now he’s out of the military but flying commercial ships. April falls in love with his two daughters little Bo and a young teen going through with all teens go through alien or not. April is so good with the children, she is better than Khall ever thought anyone would be since his wife died. There’s something special about April, and he’s having a hard time keeping his hands to himself. Khall and April‘s story is amazing and the children just add that something special. There’s still a hint of danger, a lot a family, and the way one young woman changed a male and became part of their family. So much love.

I love it! I am a little short of time. April has a some off world problems. It kind of shows how much she cares about Khall & the kids when she tries to take care of it herself. Then tries to leave the kids out of it when her past catches up with her. She is willing to go with the man who she left her home planet to avoid if he will just leave the kids there unharmed. Unfortunately, he decides to take the girls as well. But at least Khall has been able to get up above to see what is happening & can jump down to the hover ship to stop them from being taken. He finds that the flying controls are damaged. He is able to save them & guide the hover ship into an unfinished unoccupied building. He & the kids all have chutes, he is going to hold April. They get down safely. He lets her know how he feels & asks the kids how they would like for him to make April a permanent part of the family. They are all for it, & the job change, with the move. It is decided. They go on a house hunt, when they find the right one, he proposes. I love it.

Omg! Are you ready for the latest, new must read, “Alien Pilot Needs a Nanny” & the 2nd phenomenal book in the new, ‘Alien Nanny Agency’ & another fresh new page-turner that you do NOT want to miss out on!! ... I love the premise of blending families with young and older children. This is a sweet PNR romance with relatable characters & clever dialogue! ... Add in a smokin’ hot chemistry between the H/h, Khall and April, despite misunderstandings that get cleared up, they will give the adorable kids, an HEA loving home! ... This grabbed me from the start with awesome attention-to-detail, right through to the end! ... Even tho I volunteered to read this before the kindle release day, it was without any outside influences & I can honestly recommend this to adult fans of fiction! Once again I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment, but of course I will always wait ;)

    Oh No! Bo!

Well Bo, the little girl in need of a nanny is 1/4th of what makes this a great story. I know the core is romance but it's important, to me, that the children are all focussed on. For a moment I thought Minerva might remain as the vestigial child. April wasn't going to allow that to surround Minerva; she was family. Family was important to April. Khalil had a heart stopping moment when he realized the beauty of family. How wonderful that included April.

My one thing to mention is the ending and epilogue bonus. In regards to all books the endings tie up too quickly. As for the bonus epilogues; they are too short. They remind me of a 5 minutes vaudeville act with either a bit of sweet funny or charming romance. The epilogues feel more like the first paragraphs that open the way for a longer book. I wish that were so, but I think it is the last.

This book was fabulous! The relationship between April and the children, Minerva and Bo, was very sweet and heartwarming! The relationship between April and Khall seemed to hit them both instantaneously and it just kept getting hotter from there! It was "fan my face" worthy!!

April was a great caregiver for the girls and it took him a minute, but Khall realized she only had their best interests at heart. They all seemed to form a family unit almost from the beginning!

Excitement, danger, sexy times, romance, family....what more do you need in a good book?

If you haven't picked this book up yet, you're going to want to get it! You'll love it...I know you will!

Another winner by my favorite author Tasha Black!

Great alien story with a happy ever after!

I really enjoyed this book and read it in one day as I had a hard time putting it down! One thing that confused me a little was the situation with April's mom, in the beginning she talked like she was dead, then a little further she was alive and they just weren't talking. Other than that, the story flowed well and had amazing characters. I loved the girls and how April brought out the best in them, even Khall. You could really see the family dynamic and the chemistry between everyone. There was drama, bad guys, chemistry, steam, and everything you could want in a feel good read! Can't wait for the next!

Swoon alert! Khall is a hard working, single parent, who's wife was killed in war. Being a pilot, he had to be away from them, sometimes overnight. So a nanny is the perfect solution, but the nannies just aren't working out. April came to work for Khall, and immediately forged a bond with his youngest as well as learned how to engage his oldest. But the attraction with Khall. The Dad? Oh my! Things are just heating up. But she's just the nanny? Or could it turn out to be so much more? Another fabulous alien romance by Tasha Black- complete with a drool- worthy hero as well as his kick butt heroine nanny and his kids

    A good read.

I decided to read outside my norm and took a chance on this book - I am glad I did because I enjoyed reading it. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and the world that they lived in, I loved the little snippets from the manual in this and seeing the connections that April was able to make, she was a lovely character who enriched the lives of those around her. I believed in the connection and chemistry between her and Khall and I enjoyed seeing them navigate their feelings for one another. I thought April, Khall, Bo and Minerva were good characters and each brought something to the story, it was a good escape romance for me.

I had high hopes for this. I mean look at that guy on the front cover, yes please. Sadly this was a flop for me. The pacing was just sooooo off I couldn't get into it. A lot of time is spent building up the relationship between the nanny and the kids but when it came to the actually romance that was just sort of tossed in. Not what I sighed up for folks. The rapport with the children was an important part of the plot but this is suppose to be a romance. The relationship between the two hotties is what we are all here for. So more smut and less visits to the park is what I'm saying.
This is my second attempt at reading something by Tasha Black, both books were bust.

This is another amazing entry for this series. The story is very engaging, and I was quickly invested in these characters, this couple and the family they are becoming. The chemistry and pull between April and Khall was sizzling and powerful. I fell hard for all the characters and April's relationship with the kids really yanked on my heartstrings. Drama, tension and suspense are combined with emotion, heat, sweetness, cuteness and swoon to create a irresistible and utterly delightful romance that is too good to miss out on. This is my volitional, objective review.

  • Lynn Stifle

This is the second book in this series and follows April and Khall’s journey. Khall is a Jordraaki pilot, a single father, and is in desperate need of a nanny. April is trying to escape her past and takes a job as a nanny for Khall’s children. I loved both April and Khall and the connection and chemistry between them is undeniable and sizzling hot. April’s relationship with the children is heartwarming and I loved that she brought out the best in them. Another fabulous addition to this series and one I definitely recommend.

Book 2 is as good as book 1

Khall and April are really great together. This is a sweet story with only a little angst at the end but not much. I really enjoyed Khall and how he was so involved with his younger daughter’s life. Bo was definitely a handful but Minerva was actually the one I was most excited about. Khall teenage daughter was shy and quiet and didn’t seem to get the same notice as her younger sister until April came into their lives. I just love this series so far and can’t wait for the next book!

    Nothing original, but well done.

Some lives are touched by small tragedies and some lives are touched by big ones. If we’re lucky there’s enough love in our lives to even everything out.

This is a pretty typical “nanny brings love back to the house “ novel with the stereotypical bratty, traumatized, over stimulated kids that need a firm but loving hand and a brooding father who can’t help but fall for the woman who loves his kids. There’s not much original about the story, but it is well written with interesting world building and lots of nummy jam.
