This was a satisfying finish to a good series. I was a little disappointed in the editing with issues like soldier being spelled "solider" throughout the book. A basic review should have caught that and other easy editing problems. I did question the Chaos Dawn end game had it gone as they planned. Once you gave up the vaccine, what was the leverage to have the new society rebuilt as you desired? Or was it just about the money and fleeing to your hideout? I guess crazy megalomaniacs don't plan for that. I had become attached to some of the characters and was anxious for them right to the end. Not sure why some settled far from others with so many having died in the conflict, but peace and quiet can be a good thing. Overall, this was a really good series.

A brilliant series that once I started reading I couldn't stop until I finished all 6.
If you like apocalypse books (without the zombies) these are just perfect for you.
With a action packed story line & characters you can relate to, I definitely recommend them. -

Wow, what a series. Kept reading from book 1 to 6. Each book moving further on into a world of nothing, your kept wanting more. And the last book. What an ending. -
I really enjoyed this series, even more so when I finished book 1 and realised there were 6 in the series. Well written with good characters who were relatable and not all military combat experts or prescient preppers.
