I have just come to accept that this authors work is full of twists and turns and that’s okay because it keeps me on my toes. This story had me so invested from the beginning and the audacity was running rampant. I would say Kavi is my favorite, Zay and Melo were a lot at times and honestly Melo was moving sloppy for someone who is a boss. Mel and Harmony had me side eyeing them and Natalia deserves happiness. Whew! I gotta see what book two is hitting for, lol 😂 -
This book was ok, but at the end it started getting real juicy. I gotta read the next book now bc I’m invested..

I love this author but this book wasn’t for me, mel I don’t understand how Mel went to work for melo let alone date home knowing his baby mother lives with him and the fact she doesn’t even take care of her kid she doesn’t have a job so his fully taking care of her 🤦🏽♀️ the she walked in on the 2 I would have left for good she let him off way to easy. Harmony is just plan dumb how you bragging that men chase you and buy you everything but yet after you let a man play you you went right back to him still forking out money🙄 donkey of the day goes to her then you won’t give Kaiv a chance because you too busy chasing a man who clearly did think twice about you 😡 Natalie the only one who I actually think was has sense she has a lot of healing to do but she still knew her worth nor did she allow a dude to play with her she demanded respect and stood on it! -
Interesting..... not in the best way
Ok so I loke when there are a lot of characters in a book. Inlove that the paur matched up also. But I think that the characters profiles were confusing. They all judging Harmony but Melody is a liar and Natalia is a stripper/freak.... I felt thisr 2 girls were hypocrites. Also, Natalia been living with the same man that SA since 13 and now your 22? You don't tell your mom even though she unalived her husband for hitting her? Then you have melody staving and struggling but your bestfriend family is a millionaire with extra houses but yall can't afford food? And Melo is a Millionaire 30 times over but have his babamama living with him.... why not get her an apartment? Too many contradictions..... i will skim the rest but I'm not really feeling it. I will try another series... good luck. -

Oooh chile, so much drama! This book had me so intrigued that I was so determined to check the last page to see what was going to happen. This is my first book read by this author and if you haven't read a book by her I would advise you to do so as soon as possible.
I loved Melo and Melody's relationship, she made sure to let him know that disrespect will not be tolerated on her behalf. As I was reading this book it made me look at my life because some the things and feelings Melody was going through I have been currently going through and the message of don't give up push through was exactly what I needed to hear. Keep writing and encouraging people in your writings because you never know who needs to hear it. -
I wanted to love this story, but you don't always get what you want. With that being said, I have to say that this story was not for me. The beginning of the story had me interested and it was the best part of this book. Then it just went downhill from there. The story became slow and the characters in this story was just sad.com. I can't say that I cared for any of the adults. I cared for the children involved more than I did the adults and there's no way all of the should have been that ridiculous. There was a lot of repetitiveness in the story, and it could use some editing because there was time when I was reading the same sentence twice. I had the second book on my kindle but after reading this book I just deleted both. This duet just was not the one for me.

Heart pounding, edge of your seat..
Alecia.....honey this book I can’t put into words other than ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This book just was great. I was hurt when Mel had to watch her brother be murdered. I was happy to hear that she didn’t let it break her. But the twist and turns of this page turning are unmatched. This series is going to be wild I can already tell. I have so many questions that I know the next book....or books (wink) will answer. The way this book ended I was like WHAT????? I love all your work but this may be my favorite. -

Idk 😐😐 This book did hold my attention... Really it did... BUT what man still allows his baby mother to continue to live in his home when they're supposedly NOT together?? If she's broke he could've easily got h myer a place... This is just over the top for me... I'm sure this may be real life for some... And me and my besties share a LOT!!! BUT never would we watch the other have sex w their man.... This was a good... Ratchet ASF... But I'm still trying 2 process it.... -

I enjoyed the read, however, it took too long to get to the punch line. I do feel like it was a little drawn out, but I’m here for part 2. Melo, can you really be mad that she kept that Ariel being her child a secret after foul crap u pulled with Jayda.
Harmony, I hope you’re ok, but you really need to humble yourself.
Natalia, didn’t deserve what Zay did at all. I think Tobias is the guy who helped Dutchess set up Mel’s brother. -
Wow that ending got me. Good read from beginning to end with twists and turns you don’t see coming. Loved the women friendships and sisterhood but Harmony had a serious problem that has landed her in more trouble than it’s worth. Natalie warned Zay not to play with her and he made that fatal mistake.I can’t wait to read book 2 to see what the end is going to bring to these couples. Good job Author Alecia J. -
Man this was an amazing story…I need book 2 like now. Men have to realize they can’t mess with woman hearts and don’t think karma won’t come back. Melo why are you mad at Mel like come on dawg you foul on so many levels. Harmony my girl I really hope she is okay and I hope she gets her s&$t together. Natalie and Zay I’m hoping everything is okay man ughh I should have waited till book 2 is out now I’m having withdrawals 🤣🤣🤣🤣! I need Jayda to get a clue like da*n really 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

GREAT BOOK!!!
This was my first read by this author but definitely not my last. I absolutely loved it. My mouth kept being left wide opened, especially at that ending. I’m loving Melo and Mel. That ending explains paw-paw. This is most definitely a must read. I can’t wait to read part 2. Alecia you did the darn thing with this book. You deserve more than 5 stars. I look forward to reading all of your work. -

I can’t wait for part 2 because baby this here is fire. I just hope and pray that Melo doesn’t end up leaving Melody though I love them together. I never knew that Ariel was her daughter though. Dutchess was wrong on so many levels. I hope that Harmony is alright. Along with Natalia and Zay. I hope that you don’t take long with part 2 though. -

Whew chile!!!! I'm freaking speechless!!! That ending though!!!! Wasn't expecting that!!! This was one fire azz read!!! However I'm hoping that the friends will get it together... I'm hoping that they all get their happily ever after!!! -

For some reason I knew that she was her daughter. Melo need to not be surprised . I'm curious to know if he had something to do with her brother. I got questions and will wait patiently for part 2.
