A cute, low angst story about Adam and Joseph: Adam tries to keep his grandfather's restaurant afloat. When he hires Joseph from Alpha for hire, he doesn't expect to meet the one man that could mean everything to him. Joseph is concerned about the previous owner when he realizes he got hired at one of his favorite restaurants. When he realizes that the owner passed away and his grandson has taken over, he is happy to do anything for Adam to make sure the restaurant survives. Both are attracted to the other but are bad at communicating. Luckily the staff is willing to get them to talk, and there is no drama.

Adam and Joseph were cute together, and their relationship was easy in the best way. I'm looking forward to seeing how this series develops.

    :)

I love books by these authors. When I'm looking for a quicker read that is fun, sweet, but still delivers heat, I know I will find one with them. This one is no exception. These characters made me smile and the story took me away from real life for a bit and told me a love story that made me feel good. Now I must dive into book two....

I thought Alpha for Hire was an escort service thank God it wasn't. LOL

Both Adam and Joseph were great characters. I liked their story even though it happened quite fast. It was simple and light read but sweet and romantic.

I really like Lorelei's writing so I was looking forward to reading this new spin off series, and while I enjoyed this book, and the characters, I felt as though things happened way too quickly.

It's one thing that these two hooked up after they first met.. but to then say "I love you's" so soon after that just felt too rushed to me. It felt like their 'connection' was forced, it didn't feel as though things progressed naturally. It was almost as though the pace of the book was on fast forward. Despite the pacing I did like the characters, I enjoyed the fact that they were able to figure out a way to keep the family restaurant and be able to revitalize the older building. Overall a decent read!
