    The Path Forward

It Falls Apart Series Book 5. Another great book in this series. Lots going on. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. The ending of the book, though.

I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of action and plot advancement and some resolution, especially to the journey of Paul, Olivia and Joyce. Honestly, the writing is really only a 4-4.5. There were editing issues with some awkward sentences and punctuation and the less forgivable error of a character name mix-up. Katherine becomes Rachel and then Katherine twice and there is no other mention of a Rachel. My enjoyment of the story and my affinity for a lot of the characters caused me to bump it up. I like that the US government is working hard and not evil and not incompetent. I also like that the soldiers, especially in Minneapolis, are good guys, trying to do their best; they are often portrayed badly in books of the genre. This ends on a huge cliffhanger and now I have to worry about Paul, Commander Watts and Claire, in particular. I really want to see what George obtained in Wakefield and to see every person that was part of Chaos Dawn get what they deserve.

    Riveting series

The character we're enjoyable and following each of them with their challenges to survive. I think when everything is falling apart one would be fortunate to find others like these in this novel who are so honest, helpful, having integrity and determination to fulfill their quest to the end to protect those who they meet along the way on this dangerous path, even at the cost of their own lives. I did not care for the ending of book #5. My eyes were full of tears rooting for these brave souls and then a dam burst within in the last couple of paragraphs when it said, the end. But I guess that's the proof of great authors when you touch readers heart stings. I recommend the series as it doesn't disappoint.

    Intense determination

As they are on y their quest to get Joyce to her father all the turmoil they go through. A also not knowing what our country is doing to combat it. We are a resilient country. We will not lie down and give up. We will trudge on with determination to not let evil win. Its in our American blood. That to me is what this author is telling us. Each and everyone of will fight for survival.
