    Movie Nights and Clinics

I'm addicted to this series. Truly! This is my first book by
Gia Bailey and I really liked it. Just enough drama to keep me engaged and the story moving forward.

From the get-go, I appreciate how Melanie recognizes what she wants, a baby, and maps out a way to make it happen. She just didn't count on her childhood best friends and neighbors, Ian, Sam, and Dylan, flipping the plan around. 💜🔥💜🎉💜

I love how we got little glimpses into some of their pasts that had impacted them. If this is ever expanded, I'd like to see that as an area that gets updated.

4 childhood BFF: 3 boys and a girl; 3 boys that had a crush on the same girl for forever. A girl that had an equally big crush on those 3. The 3 men made a pact to not making move (well, that's suck) but then tested when the girl had decided to move forward; and wanted a baby using fertility clinic. What a man to do but to step up right?!

This book was typical OTT menage romance with steamy scenes especially the claiming part. The thing was it was well written. The background story was woven nicely and took us to understand the depth of their friendship (how they were there for each other), despite how short the book was. It was quite a good steamy story for me though. Oh, and I liked how it used the side character and made it shine in the end. Gotta love the nosy neighbour with unexpected wisdom.

    MFMM, No MM
    Dual PoV, 1st person
    No condoms
    No drama/angst
    No cheating
    Safe read, HEA, epilogue
Overall score: 3.5 menage romance stars

    Okay read.

This was a sweet and steamy reverse harem romance. I liked the storyline and the deep friendship between the characters. The steamy bits were also good. An enjoyable read.

Not the best in the series but enjoyable - read on KU

This wasn't the best but was far from the worst. I had a hard time feeling the chemistry but it may be because I kept dozing off during the part of the book that lead up to them getting together. I read at night, so it wasn't that the book put me to sleep. And while it didn't put me to sleep, the part of the book building up to them being together was a bit boring. They don't get together until 50%. There are two other bland sex scenes after the major one but those are both with only one guy.

The only kink in the book was the ménage à quatre. They talked about another one for the future. There was only ever one man down below at a time. That has been true of most of the series.

These men, mostly Ian, strategized well to convince her it was OK to have a polyamory lifestyle. The last gesture they made was sweet and well done. As with most of the books in this series, you have to join her mailing list to get the NSFW bonus epilogue.

The book wasn't without grammatical errors, but for the most part, the grammar has been pretty clean through this whole series. It isn't uncommon to find erotica with horrible grammar. And the authors in this series are mostly not huge names. I don't recognize any of them and I do a lot of reading - about a book a day. That doesn't mean anything, as I obviously don't know every author available on KU but looking at the number of reviews on their other books shows they aren't big names. So, it has been a pleasant surprise for the grammar to have been as clean as it has been. The only error I remember seeing was "I" being used as an object. It seems like that wasn't the only one but the only one I remember.

    To Whom This May Concern:

I would like to say that this is the first time I am reading a product of Gia Bailey. Also, this book is a part of a larger reverse harem series. I did not read any of the other books in the series and read this book as a standalone. It did not hinder my ability to finish the book.

The couple in this book is Melanie Lane and Ian McKay, Dylan, and Sam. This is a reverse harem novel. I personally did not like the main female character. Her insecurities were redundant in the book. Also, her lack of strong will and questioning throughout the book had me rolling my eyes more than enjoying the novel. However, the author should elaborate on the male characters more.

In this book, Melanie wants a fetus. However, she does not want to go to her friends and opts to go to a clinic. This is the driving force for the rest of the novel. The book consists of 9 chapters and an epilogue, with revolving point of views between the characters

The "romance" scenes had steam. I will never judge on the amount of romance scenes in a book, but more the quality of the scenes. There is one descriptive group scenes, but three separate scenes for the guys. However, the three separate scenes were quick and lacking.

The ending of the book tied the story together and the character's conflicts were addressed.

With that being said, I give the book a 2 out of 5. The female character was just hard to read and relate with and the steam scenes was lacking.

    With thanks.

Disclaimer: I did get this book for free through Booksprout. However, I did not get paid for a skewed review. This is an honest review with no intentions to sway readers to persuade sales.

I really enjoyed the premise and the characters themselves - however what I was most disappointed about was the "fade to black" implied issue with a lot of the consequential steam scenes in this book.

Our FL wants a baby and is in a rural town, but the premise is the three MLs have been pining for their BFF forever. It's set up quite well (for the length of this book) in the beginning leading up to Club Sin. However after Club Sin is where everything ties up way too fast with the guys saying how they'll prove it to her that they are real and will make things work, all the scenes though are really curtly described or go into the "fade into black"/door closes. Because of that, it made the pacing weird with all of a sudden - "yes this will all work" and the ending is an sort of described implied hot scene with the three MLs. I don't like how there's a description in the first hot scene about how they'll prepare the FL to take them all at once...and it's never shown. I'd rather it not have been "promised"

Anyways so my main ding is just the speed and lack of steam after the initial scene. I do find it interesting how it got tidied up with the result and such, but it really just had me curious for more about this whole group. If this was set up as a whole book with everything described even with the emotional parts of how the FL finally accepted, it could have been better.

Regardless the plot itself and story was cute for what it was.

I have to say, I found this read to be refreshing in a whole new way. While the reverse harem can have its own appeal this was something all together different. Melanie wants to have a baby and she has three best friends that she has been in love with since childhood. For this reason she has never had any kind of romantic relationship with them because she would never want to hurt Ian, Dylan or Sam by choosing one over the other. What she doesn’t realize is that they are head over heals for her. When they realize she is going to have a baby with some unknown person from donor bank they know it is time to intervene. So, I have to say this is where I absolutely enjoyed what the author did with writing the story. Melanie really struggled with the choice of her personal happiness of choosing a life with men she could love and love her or the society accepted choice. We many times don’t realize how often we let society acceptance dictate our life’s decisions as we fear the alternative. I loved seeing how this story was able to depict a family being able to come together and find their own personal happiness. Whatever that might look like for them. I definitely encourage you to read this book and see how Melanie’s story unfolds, while you might know it was happy there are some interesting things that are very worth reading.

Sam, Dylan, Ian, and Melanie, friends since childhood. Melanie could depend on her fellas for everything except for her latest endeavor. She loves these 3 guys with all her heart, more than she cares to acknowledge but fears going beyond their years of friendship into something physical/romantic would jeopardize what they share. The question is, what if they want the same, and they love her as much as she loves them? Unconventional, yes...impossible, nothing is impossible when you love someone.

She plans the scientific method but Ian, Dylan and Sam show her their is a better way. They allow Melly to make the final decision. I liked what sparked Melly to make the right decision for all of them.

    Quite impressed

Never read a book by this author before but I will definitely try another.

I loved the best friends to lovers concept. They were such a tight knit group that realistically it made perfect sense.

The story pulled me in from the very first bit and had me hooked right up the end. Where I definitely wanted more of their story.
