Snowboots \u0026 Sunglasses: Contemporary Christian fiction infused with love, joy and peace (Book 2 in the Raincoats \u0026 Sunglasses series) Reviews

  • Anna Jensen

I absolutely loved this book, the second in Ms Johnston's series chronicling the lives of a group of friends in Glasgow.

Deciding they need a break from the dreary Scottish winter, the group escape on a weekend ski trip to France.

This is a fun, relatable read with characters who are easy to connect with and enjoy. The storyline unfolds at a natural pace, with the Christian perspective interwoven in a gentle and realistic manner.

Although book 2 of the series, this can be read as a standalone novel.

A great read which I thoroughly recommend.

    Hard to Put Down

I enjoyed this sequel to Raincoats and Sunglasses. The interactions between the characters and insights into their feelings made me want to keep reading. I appreciated the theme of facing fear and finding joy.
