What a fantastic, festive feast of short stories! All very different, but still with that historical, cosy mystery feel, which has to be the perfect genre for the Christmas season. If you're looking for a book that will imbue you with the festive spirit, this is the one. And lovely to have a selection of novellas to dip in and out of at a busy time of year, when you might not have time to devote to a full length novel.
I loved the way that Carmen Radtke's 'Mystery of the Christmas Bauble' links in with her Jack and Frances series of novels - I'm a big fan! I also particularly enjoyed Katherine Moore's 'Christmas Treasures', but all of the stories were well written and engaging.
Highly recommended if you like your Christmas fiction on the mysterious but cosy side (I know I do!). -
A lovely selection of cosy mysteries set at Christmas time to warm the heart. Each has a great little story and engaging characters with enough mystery to grip you til the end. I especially liked meeting Frances and Jack again in the Mystery of the Christmas Bauble.

A well written Holiday Cozy/Historical Mystery Anthology that kept me turning pages. one of the stories in this set is The Christmas Kettle Caper by C.H. Sessums. It takes place in the small town Wintervale, and the Green Mountain Grannies are at it again as they search for a stolen star. A story also of moving on from the past and being happy for what you have now. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a beautiful and emotional collection of Christmas stories.
Harm for the Holidays by Katherine H. Brown
Originally, I felt this story only worth 4 stars. However, it deserves 5! This story feels like an homage to Agatha Christie where there are several red herrings on who could have committed a murder during Christmas weekend.
The Christmas Tree Caper by Melodie March
In this story, we delve into a rabbit hole of mystery and intrigue. I love the concept of grandmothers solving crime because they can't let it go. Plus, a sprinkling of Christmas love helps.
Christmas Treasures by Katherine Moore
This story was beautiful, but also very bittersweet. It focuses very heavily on family and love, with a hint of mystery.
The Mystery of the Christmas Bauble by Carmen Radtke
Two stories wrapped in one? Sign me up! I love stories from two time periods that connect together. And with a dash of actual magic? Yes please!
A Christmas to Remember by Natalia Schellhaas
I am an absolute sucker for stories that are Hallmark-esque. The mystery in this one was the most heartbreaking one to solve, and I was very happy with the end result.
The Christmas Kettle Caper by C.H. Sessums
A sweet story that focuses on family and happy endings. The way it was written was reminiscent of telling a campfire story.

An excellent collection of Christmas-themed mysteries!
Reading this because one of my favourite authors - C. H. Sessums - had a contribution, I was prepared to really only enjoy one of the stories. Surprisingly, each story in this collection is a wonderful snippet of mystery mixed with holiday intrigue. Good quick reads for those afternoons when you want just a small distraction before getting back to the packages and tinsel.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion, and I'm very happy I did! It's a very fun collection of historical cozies. Even though I haven't read many historical lately, I was immediately sucked into these tales! Perfect for putting you in the holiday spirit. I definitely recommend this to lovers of cozy mystery and historical fiction alike!
