  Just finished Sinful Demon King and it was excellent!!!! This is book 2 in The A Villain paranormal romance and it's so fucking HOT!!!🔥 Wrath isn't the fairytale boyfriend that you dreamed of,he's A total asshole who excel's at being a villain and Rain finds it hard to find anything redeeming in him. Their interactions are a constant push and pull because of this and try as she might to hate him what she feels when he touches her or is inside her is like napalm, soul shattering and if she isn't careful he will be her downfall. The chemistry between these two is kindle melting and it started with a bang ( no pun intended) right out of the gate! I knew just a few pages in this was gonna be another hot and steamy read and it didn't disappoint! Their were twists and some questions answered from book one and we even found alittle more about wrath but if your hoping for a happy ending at the end and wrath suddenly seeing the light and confessing his love.... Its not happening! He's not some half ass villian he's A true nightmare! Even though their's A couple of times through the book that he lets his guard down and show's some emotion its usually followed by his dark side and let me tell you he definitely has one. Which begs the question, what has been done to him in the past to made him like this I need to know! I can't say enough about Nikki St. Crowes storytelling! She has me so hooked on this series! What is it about villains and anti hero's that's so sexy and fascinating, to me its watching them fall head first in love because no matter how they try to fight it theirs always some woman that brings them to their knee's! And Rain will bring wrath down, its already started whether he knows it or not! And I think that's what he is truly afraid of! Until next time Luv's💕💋

  Ahhhhh! Sinful Demon King has been finalized and uploaded to Amazon. When I started writing book 2, I set out to write about the action, the magic, the plot secrets that were to unfold, but something else took me by surprise -- the relationship between Wrath and Rain. Their interactions in this book were some of my favorite to write and because we're in the middle of the trilogy, it can't be all sunshine and roses. These two are volcanic and I can't wait for you guys to read this book! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  If you like toxic and abusive relationships with men that have the personality of dirt, then this series is for you. I honestly was feeling ok about this series until about halfway through this book. Yes, there are some problematic aspects that bugged me,
  *how everyone keeps referring to grown women as girls,
  *no positive female relationships with the main female character,
  *Rain seems to get off on getting physically assaulted and abused by Wrath,
  *Wrath having no personality besides being angry and horny.
  But overall, I thought it was starting to get better with this book. It seemed maybe the demon king was being well...less of a complete manipulative abusive asshole and starting to actually show some feelings towards Rain.
  
  That was until around halfway through when the relationship between Rain and Wrath, which was already toxic and abusive, turned even worse with him threatening and harming her loved ones. All because she refused to bow down to him and sign her life and freedom away when he demanded it. Yet she also seems to think she loves him the entire time? He threatens the safety of her loved ones (physically hurting one) and also plans on torturing her so she will give in to his demand...but I'm supposed to be rooting for this relationship? I don't know when we as readers started thinking these were good enemies to lovers' storylines, but I'm honestly so sick of writers using the enemies to lovers trope to justify abuse. I will not be finishing this series and will be steering clear of this writer in the future.

I don’t know if feelings are real or Wrath just wants too use Rain, I need answer lol. I need more Wrath & Rain ASAP especially how this book ended.

  I’m sorry but I DNF it. What happened to my badass female lead? She became so annoying so quickly. Wrath does nothing but show her that he’s awful yet she’s projecting all of this emotion onto him. I just couldn’t continue, it pissed me off way too much. This blows because I loved the first book.

  This second book in the series was a decent read. The story had its moments, and I could definitely see the potential in the author's ideas. The concept of demons and a supernatural world coexisting with ours was intriguing, and there were some twists that kept me engaged. The characters were still not as fleshed out as i would have liked. I wanted to know more about their backgrounds and motivations. Sometimes it felt like they were making choices without much explanation, which left me wanting more depth. The pacing was a bit uneven, with some parts feeling rushed while others dragged on. The writing style was casual and easy to follow, which I appreciated. It made for a quick and uncomplicated read, perfect for a lazy weekend.

  I literally squealed at some parts of this book. Wrath and Rain are just drawn together and I’m drawn to them. Rain is strong and stubborn and determined to do what she wants. Wrath as much as he complains about Rain and he secretly loves it.
  
  I loved reading this book and I’ve loved the journey so far. I can’t wait for the third 😭.

  So the second book in this series is definitely better than the first! The writing got better, not as clunky, and it flowed better. We got some character development and more backstory, which made the characters more likeable.
  
  I do hate the "why are you always asking so many questions" tropes that books do to their female main characters. I feel like these FMC get thrown into a world or situation that they know nothing about, so as anyone would do they ask questions cause no one is explaining anything or giving any information, and then the other characters are like "why do you ask so many questions?" It drives me insane. I wish writers would either have characters explain more to the MC's, or if they ask questions not get so annoyed.
  
  The spice got a little better. We got more, which was great. And I understand the dynamic between Wrath and Rain, that it's a mixture of hate/love, they're constant battle for control, but Wrath got a bit much for me at some points in the story. He constantly acts like Rain was out to get him, and I understand that has to do with his past and lack of trust, but also like he seems to forget that she didn't ask for any of this and it's all just happening to her. And then when he doesn't open up to her or explain what's happening he acts all shocked when she gets scared and runs.
  
  All in all, the second book definitely got better and I'm more invested in the series and how it will finish.

  So the FIRST 👆🏻 thing to mention here… that EVERYONE always asks 😅… is it a COMPLETED series?! Why YES, yes it is 🙌🏻! I’ve been reading A LOT of Nikki St. Crowe books lately and I have to tell you, this lady KNOWS how to HOOK 🪝 you (no PUN intended for her other series, The Never King 🧚‍♀️ 😁) … so yeah, she HOOK's 🪝 you from the beginning and gives you a FAST-PACED 🚘 story that is detailed enough to have you book BINGE, but LEAN enough (and short enough!) that it isn’t a major commitment of time 🕰 ! You literally can knock out 👊🏻 ANY of her books or series on either a Sunday afternoon ☀️ or a weekend 🌴 ! And for someone who is a software engineer by day and have BLURRY 😵‍💫 eyes by night 🌙 , this is EXACTLY 👌🏻 the type of books I prefer! So if you LOVE ❤️ to page-turn a fabulous, STEAMY 🔥 paranormal romance and don’t want to commit WEEKS-ON-END 😩 to a MASSIVE series, her books are IDEAL 🙌🏻 (Chef’s kiss 💋 💋💋!)
  
  OK ✅! So THIS series 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!! It kicks 🦵 off in a world 🌎 like ours where The Demon King 👹 has made his presence known in a pretty DRAMATIC 🎭 way (by kicking the g0vernment’s HINEY 😮😅!) So it starts with our girl, Rain 🌧 (yep her Mom’s name is Sunny ☀️😆 ,) who is JUST trying to make ends meet in life & has gone OUT OF HER WAY to IGNORE 🙄 everything on TV/Instagram/TikTok/F-B (you name it!) about this HOT 🥵, SEX-A-FALISH 🍆 Demon King! She will NOT be just one of the thousands of DROOLING 🤤 fans, DANGNAMMIT 😩😂! Which is all FINE & DANDY until one day she runs 🏃🏻‍♀️ into him in an alley and finds out that even though SHE may NOT want to be one of the thousands… she can’t do a DANG thing about being the ONLY one in the THOUSANDS that HE pays attention to…. 🔥🔥🔥
  
  RIGHT! So SERIOUSLY, off the bat I was hooked!!! This is a GREAT 👍🏻 story set in the modern world and it’s super COOL 😎 that the cat 🐱 is out of the bag (i.e., everyone knows about The Demon King 🤴!) I love that it has MODERN 📱 technology and has a SUPER neat, unique plotline that I haven’t read anything really similar to (which is saying A LOT with how much THIS 🙋🏻‍♀️ girl reads 😆!)
  
  This IS an enemies-to-lovers trope 🥷 ➕ 💘! And oh boy, it’s just the RIGHT amount of YUMMY 😋 ! Wrath is a VILLIAN, but we pretty much immediately LOVE ❤️‍🔥 this guy from the get-go & instead, want to SMACK 🤜🏻 the you-know-what out of Rain on occasion 😅! But hey, KEEP READING if you feel the same way I did because TRUST ME 👌🏻, it doesn’t take long for situations to COME TOGETHER 🥵 & for the pretty great STEAM 🔥 that Nikki is famous for... to KICK-IN 🦵 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!!
  
  This author KNOWS 💡 how to write ✍️ that romantic ANGST ❤️‍🔥 leading up to some pretty HOT 🔥 STEAM and she DOESN’T disappoint in this series 🙌🏻! If you LOVE ❤️‍🔥 Bran in Hot Vampire Next Door 🩸 or Peter Pan/The Lost Boys in The Never King 🧚‍♀️ … your gonna LEGIT LOVE Wrath!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 He is HOT 🥵 HOT 🥵 HOT 🥵! All possessive, controlling, but like… a SWEETHEART 💘 underneath it all! He’s got some MAD game in the bedroom 🛌 department (or shall I say rooftop 🏙 department?!) 😁😁😁 And don’t get me started on his sub-dimensional travelling... I FREAKING love BADA$S 🤺 POWERFUL 💥 MMCs that basically show up WHENEVER and WHEREVER the HELL they want for THEIR girl! Every time this guy found Rain, I was like…. yesssssss 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 here we go 🙌🏻!!! Annnnd I love ❤️, love ❤️, love ❤️ a FMC that is like… oh yeah?!? You plan to keep me here 😠?! Ummm.. that’s a big fat Hellllllll NO buddy!!!… so… C-YA 👋🏻! (meanwhile our guy’s standing there with a deer-in-the-headlights look 😳 while our girl is peacing out ☮️ by outwitting him with her escape 🏃🏻‍♀️ 😂😂😂!)
  
  The other thing that I really LOVED 🥰 about this series… that I don’t usually get to talk about in reviews (since they are usually just for a SINGLE book 📕 and not the WHOLE series 📚 )… is this series actually had a GREAT 😊 message underneath it all! Really EMPOWERING 💪🏻 and there are definitely some PARALLELS to how HEALTHY, real-world romantic relationships SHOULD function. Which, is a pretty IMPRESSIVE 😮 feat since this is an enemies-to-lovers trope! Seriously! You get to the end and your like… OK that was a really FUN 🤩 ride, with GREAT steam 🔥, a HOT 🥵 MMC, a COOL 😎 story… but like… a really FANTASTIC message 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! I DIDN’T see that coming actually and at one point I was like… ughhhh NOOOOOO why did that happen to our boy 😠😩…. But just hang on … it will ALL MAKE SENSE 💡… and it was WELL WORTH IT! Really FREAKING cool! 🙌🏻
  
  I usually write reviews once I finish a single book, but with this series, I just read book after book after book! (thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻 Nikki for writing a series that I could literally digest over a weekend ☀️ and binge the heck out of!) There were great CLIFFHANGERS 🪨 that just kept me page-turning right into the NEXT 👉🏻 book! And I kept thinking I’ll write that review later, because like… I need to read the next book NOW! 😆😆😆
  
  And now… for my SHAMELSS 😁 BEGGING 🙏🏻 moment to the author (the AMAZING 🤩 & FABULOUS 💋 Nikki St. Crowe!)… GIRL! You KNOW you LEFT the ending of Book 3 a PERFECT 👌🏻 combo of a satisfying HEA and at the same time… the PERFECT 👌🏻 SEGWAY to 3 MORE books, right !?! 😆😆😆 We NEED more Wrath & Reign (ooops…typo 😅… RAIN 🌧 !) and I’m salivating at what could happen in the next realm 🌎 (errrr… I mean book 📕 😁😆!)
