I’m the villain of Alric Moore’s story. And we’ve reached the climax. Not even mental torture will stop me from becoming his demise.
As havoc knocks on another realm’s doorstep, the druids prepare for a war that isn’t theirs to fight. Everyone will come face-to-face with the best version of me. Because beneath the blood and gore lies the Goddess of Wrath and Justice.
I am the judge, jury, and executioner.
Though I choose to walk the line of right and wrong, I’ll always lean. Balance is a precarious thing when I’m playing both sides of the board. My moral compass will never point north, and the rules no longer apply to me.
Lucky for you, I won’t have to slaughter entire worlds to keep those I love safe. I’ve already found Alric to be guilty. Now it’s just a matter of serving his punishment.
Welcome to the end.
I’m Sloane f*****g King,
and I’m no damsel in distress.
But you already knew that.
Hybrid Heroics (The Chronicles of Sloane King, #7) Reviews

4.6 stars.
This was a fun series, that kept me occupied for several days.
I loved all the humor and sex.
The violence was fun.
I Loved that Sloane was such a fucking Badass.
I actually read the fight scenes instead of skipping around words when there was action like I do a lot of the times.
The characters were all really lovable and entertaining.
That epilogue was a little too open ended for my liking…but I liked every other thing about the series, so it didn’t really factor into much.
I’m not sure if I’ll read more of the interconnected series’ that come after this book, but I will definitely be checking back into this author’s releases sometime.
I really enjoyed her writing.
It was just fun. -
What can I say? Hybrid Heroics is the final book in the Chronicles of Sloane King and I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion. Plots were wrapped up, my characters got a happy ending, and things went down in a manner that only Sloane King could have planned. It was brilliant.
Druid realm was interesting setting, I wish there could have been more of it but I liked meeting York's family. Another interesting setting was the inside of Lo's head, the core, I had no words. Not only was it a unique take (although it did have a Locke and Key vibe) but it was crazy and I loved it. It also managed to give off a lot of humor, seriously, it was hilarious but while the surface level it seemed crazy but it made sense and fits in with who Lo is.
Sloane has changed throughout the series for the better. Don't get me wrong she's still basically the same but she's opened herself up to the guys, which was difficult after the mess with York. She's considering their feelings more, she's still gonna do what she does but they matter. The guys love Lo, they give her something that she needed and she manages to do the same for them. There is an equal level of trust and respect between Lo and the guys and their bond only grows stronger. They love each other and communicate that, each, in their own way. It's really sweet to see them in their downtime, the playfulness they have, which is something that Lo never had until she met them.
As usual, the story was controlled chaos. I loved being in Lo's head, it was wild. Even more interesting was seeing the guys with Lo out of commission. It was still chaos (so it isn't just Lo) with the guys trying to figure out their next steps and solve problems. The guys also seemed to have more chapters in this book and I loved getting even more from their perspectives. The epic showdown with Alaric finally arrived and Lo's first move was jaw-dropping and gross, seriously, dang. I would say I can't believe it but I can. Lo and the gang brought the smackdown in the fight and a few things about some of the guys' past was revealed. Everything is connecting. Speaking of connecting, Lo puts all the dots together, clues and events from before the first book, connecting the dots to reveal one heck of an epic plot. Adele was masterful.
Hybrid Heroics was absolutely fantastic. It's the perfect conclusion to Sloane's story, filled with all the madness I associate with Lo. I've been a fan of the Chronicles of Sloane King from the beginning. They say, write the book you would want to read, well (I haven't written anything) MF Adele beat me to it. An ultra-powerful female character who doesn't apologize for who she is or what she does but still acts with good intentions. She has mates who have literally gone through Hell with her and a found family that is tighter than blood although some of them are blood.
I love this series with my whole heart and would be lying if I didn't say I was a little teary that it's over. Luckily enough Adele has hinted with the wildest epilogue I have ever read, that things are far from over, that actually they've only just begun and a plot bigger than any of them know is underway. There is more to come with the characters that we've met through Lo and it looks like readers will more of Sloane and the gang as well. The universe is expanding with more books to come and I can't wait. -
Damn i cant believe that this was the end? Every book has lead up to this epic clash and trust me it was worth the wait!! Sloane (FMC) and her guys - Vaughn, Novak, Palmer, Briggs, Stone & York go through some plot twists before that happens which tied up some loose ends brilliantly. So much happened in this last book that if i put it down in this review there would too many cracking spoilers given out so i wont do that do that. One hell of an ending to one hell of a series that id loved every minute reading. So bloody good!

‼️ Trigger Warnings
I can’t believe it’s the end of Sloane’s series but reading her journey and how she grew into herself was so awesome. Can I be Sloane King when I grow up? She’s brave, fierce, confident, strong, and so much more and she only grows as the series progresses. Meeting her mates had a lot to do with that after she closed her heart off for so long. This whole series takes the reader on an adventure with twists and turns, love, betrayal, friendship, loyalty and more. The banter between her men was some of my favorite I’ve ever read and pulled genuine laughter from me. Multiple POV books are my favorite and I’ll always choose those first over a single POV book, it just adds more to the story in my opinion.
When Sloane is finally able to share what’s been in her head at the end, my mind was spinning with the intricate plot/storyline M.F. had managed to weave together. I especially loved when we got a small glimpse of a villain’s POV in each book. The Chronicles of Sloane King is a well thought out series with great characters, a thoroughly engaging plot, plenty of action/bl00dshed, and enough spice to melt your kindle. There were even some moments that got me right in the feels and I consider that one of the best ways to judge a good book from a bad one, when you can feel the emotion and it brings your own to the surface.
Although this is the end of Sloane’s story, it won’t be the last we see of her as her and her men make appearances in the future books of a few of her companions. I loved their appearance in Onyx Sanctuary and am looking forward to more, I don’t wanna say goodbye just yet.

I have to admit, longer book series normally don't hold my attention. I usually stick to shorter series, ones that tap out at about 3 books. Anything more and the story just feels too drawn out, like the author is trying to make something out of nothing. This is not the case with The Chronicles of Sloane King. Not even close. Seven books in and I would still want more from these characters! Not only did the story pull you in and keep you immersed in it throughout its entirety, but there was never a dull moment. There were always several more steps to follow, another piece of the mosaic to figure out, an additional villain that was plotting against them all in the grand scheme of things. It was nonstop. And the great thing about it? M.F. Adele didn't get repetitive about anything. Everything flowed so well and kept the readers on their toes. With an unpredictable character such as Sloane it was easy to expect a rollercoaster of chaos and mayhem that continued to blow our minds in its uniqueness and creativity.
The beginning of this final book was such an entertaining and imaginative opening scene, starting with a memory and diving fully into the cirque de Sloane, giving the readers a glimpse of what really goes on in that chaotic mind of hers and how truly deep she keeps secrets, ideas, and memories hidden. I feel like some of the stuff we have seen up to this point, while still incredible, was just the tip of the iceberg of how her mind processes different events in her life.
For the majority of this series, there has been a major focus on Sloane and then each guy would have their spotlight in their particular realm, but I think this book did a really great job of allowing all of Sloane's mates to have some of the focus be put back on them. They were finally at a point where they had to navigate without Sloane and make the big decisions with the weight of the world on their shoulders. The only difference? They had each other to help take a piece of it to lighten the load. Sloane didn't have that until recently so it was great to see how much of an eye opener it was for the guys and to see them understand how much everyone relied on Sloane for. I wouldn't say that they did things in the same way Sloane did or were as quick to figure out their next steps, because let's be honest, no one is as fast as Sloane King when it comes to making a plan, but they were able to get to the correct resolution in time, and the fact that Sloane trusted them enough to take that responsibility while she was busy doing her own thing that needed doing, speaks a lot to how much confidence she had in her mates. She certainly has come a long way from the Sloane we met in book one.
This series has been a wild ride from the beginning to the very well dealt ending. The amount of mayhem, murder, and excitement this series provided will always keep it high up on my list of favorites. Sloane and her men are some of the most unforgettable characters I've ever read about and I cannot wait to see what becomes of some of the side characters in this series as well. M.F. Adele set everyone up real nice for possible future series of their own, with just as powerful leading ladies and their group of mates. They're going to change the world. -
I am incredibly sad this is the last book, but such a great end to an amazing series! Not to mention, being told we get more stories? Yes please.
This one was a bit different because we get more of the boys perspectives in the beginning and not much Sloane because she’s having too much fun messing with Alric in her circus 😂 I think Sloane being gone really helped the boys have more confidence in themselves, although they struggled at first, but it was a necessary evil. I was worried when she said Alric was just coming to dinner but what she served him? I mean couldn’t be more perfect.
There was definitely less spice than the other books, however, the story is so good you don’t notice that much. I just like my spice lol.
I knew Sloane would hand Alaric’s a*s to him and honestly thought she would give a liiitttlleee more torture but I think the mental torture she provided definitely bothered him more.
Anyway-so excited to read more about the world and see Sloane again. No joke probably my favorite FMC. -
I didn't want it to end, but it was the perfect ending!!!
Hybrid Heroics is book #7 in The Chronicles of Sloane King series. Its a dark paranormal reverse harem.
I wanna stay in Sloanes world forever!!!!
Sloane and her mates York, Vaughn, Novak, Stone, Briggs and Palmer have been thru so much over the course of this series. Now, everything has come to a head and they show how badass they all are. They are all so strong and love each other so much, it makes my heart so damn happy.
Hybrid Heroics is non stop action, spice that will have you drooling, a plot that will grab you and keep you turning pages with characters that feel like family.
I have loved this wild ride and I adore these characters, I just wanna cry that it's over 😭😭😭
Thank you for this amazing series MF and i can't wait for what comes next! -
Loved the final book in Sloane's series. I'm going to miss her adventures but we'll still be seeing her in other books. I'll miss her harem of men though! I loved the layout of Sloane's mind when she had Alric in there with her. It is fab that her mind had all the puzzle pieces going along but didn't have time to piece it together until the end too.
I'm still not a fan of her mother but I feel that their relationship will get better in the future which we might see in future books. Still love angel dad the best out of all of them. I loved how the battle was dealt with and that everyone got to have closure of killing that one family member! It was lovely to see everyone partying and relaxing after the battle too.
The ending leaves it open to the next series in this world and I'm excited for the next chapter! -
Sloane and her men are back with one final book full of plot twists and surprising events no one saw coming.
The seventh and final book in Sloane's story is finally here! We get to see her and her men tie up some loose ends all while bringing their enemy down. Seeing how much she has grown since the beginning has been so rewarding and you can easily see how different Sloane is from book one to seven.
This is the last book, so I was expecting something a little more spectacular. We've spent 7 books with these characters, so I wanted them to go out with a bang, and...they just didn't. The ending felt rushed and incomplete. I felt like the author may have just been done with this series and wanted it over quickly, so I feel like the ending didn't match what it should have been.

What. A. Finish.
So, I fell in love with Sloane from page one of Druid Dreams. She's the very definition of antihero. After book 3, I stopped until all 7 were released. I couldn't take the cliffhangers and I knew it would be worth the wait. AND IT WAS. I can't stress enough how amazing combination of literal laugh out loud situations, demanding serious moments, the visionary way fight scenes are pieced together, and the outright love are. This series, and this book, are one of the best I've ever read. Saying farewell to The Chronicles of Sloane King is a bittersweet moment. I hope we get to see more of her and her mates and see them grow and massacre a few more baddies. Thank you M.F. for introducing us to Sloane and the 7 realms. I can't wait to see what's next. -
I don't think my heart was truly ready to jump into Sloane's final installment as I just knew it would be amazing. Sloane has remained an absolute bad*** throughout this entire series while still giving in to a certain level of vulnerability with her mates and close loved ones. This storyline is easily a favorite of mine. Jam packed with action, steam, and a wonderfully psycho heroine. Hybrid Heroics did not disappoint in the slightest beyond it being the end of Sloane's story and I just don't want it to end because I love these characters so much!

This is the seventh and final book in The Chronicles of Sloane Series, and what a finale it is! I have loved this series and the characters from the very beginning and am so sad to see Sloane and her guys story come to an end, but alas, all good things must come to an end.
I absolutely recommend this book and series! It is packed full of action, intrigue, steam, lovably psychotic characters, and so, so much more! It is a page turner for sure. I will be excitedly awaiting more from this fantastic author. -
Overall, a good end of the series.
I liked the plot, it was fast-paced and engaging, like the rest of the series. This one went a bit faster, I was expecting things to drag a little bit more, but it was appreciated.
I still love all the side characters, would be nice to see more stories, I'll have to do some research on that side. Maybe I'm lucky and I'll find some things are already out. -
Brilliant read. Loved this series. This is the last book in the series. i cannot wait to reread this series all over again.
The druids are preparing for war. The supernatural community needs to prepare for what is to come. Sloane has been preparing for this her whole life. her family is back. But family is what you make of it. Sloane has surrounded herself with treasures of the best kind and she is determined that she will protect them at any cost.
Brilliant read. -
“Part of me was utterly excited for this new book but the other part is still struggling knowing that the time to say goodbye to Sloane and her mates has arrived but what an epic ending for these incredible characters. Sad to let my men go but they deserved a happy ending after everything endure endure so goodbye to these crazy and pyscho guys that stole my heart. *blush blush* steamy, not saying more.”

This book was amazing, awesome, unpredictable, and left room for more. Sloane's personal story might be over but there's more to come with that ending. This was the best outcome for this Crew. Everyone who deserved to parish got their just rewards. You definitely want to read the conclusion to Sloane's tale. You won't be disappointed

hybrid heroics
Woohoo! We have reached the end of sloane kings story. It was a great run . I was really pleased with how this series ended . It took forever for sloane to break out of her stasis and once she did , she was just as sassy as always . This series was a wonderful ride now drawn to a close. I really loved it. -
It ended! I'm so happy and sad... I loved this series, Slone is one of the strongest FMC I have ever read and I loved her. Her mates are so different and they all have issues and that is what makes them perfect. In this book we have the druids ready for war but Sloane is an army by herself so.... Amazing series a definitely must read. So much drama, action, love, s**... Fantastic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was the ending this series deserved. I love feisty, strong FMCs and Sloane checked every box. That epilouge gave me hope that we will be seeing this crazy cast of characters again! I can't wait.
On another note, I will never look at googly eyes 👀 again without laughing. -
Battle of the Minds
Sloane the OP Queen of Supes gets her HEA being her badass self. The poor guys..🤣 They just sit around with their 👍s up their 🍑s. That ending epilogue felt more like it was for more books of Sloane n her guys but I'm curious about the other characters. Looks like the angels will be the biggest bad maybe. -
AWESOME
I was so sad because this was the last book! I love all the characters and the growth between them all! I’m really hoping we get more parts to this every changing world! I NEED MORE 🖤🌶🖤🌶🖤🌶🖤 -
OMG I so love Sloane King. This was a fantastic ending to an incredible series. Absolutely love these characters and I wish it never ended. So much action. All my questions were answered. No spoilers here. I wish I could but I can’t. Phenomenal ending. Definitely recommend

Epic
Well I certainly love this series, and am so glad that it isn't over. You can't get enough of the characters. Falling in love with pretty much all of them. So I'll be waiting so not patiently for the next book. Lol
