I am not a good person.

Torture and murder can’t even ease the wrath that’s thrumming through my veins. I’m that f*****g angry.

This vendetta might actually kill me, but it goes so far beyond the mess my parents left for me to clean up. All the pieces have finally started falling into place. The lies, the hidden agendas, and the games begin to paint a crystal-clear picture.

A grave miscalculation was made on my behalf.

To play inside my mind is to welcome my chaos. The labyrinth of darkness senses its next victims. And they didn’t expect me to inherit their strengths with none of their weaknesses.

Before I leave the fae realm, both kingdoms will quake with fear and rejoice in their freedom when they hear my name.

I’m Sloane f*****g King,
The Queen of Wrath and Justice.
But don’t let that title fool you.
I’m no damsel in distress.

It's been a year since a new Sloane King book and it has been torture. I love the series so much, I've been anticipating Fae Farewells for a while now and it did not disappoint. The fifth book in The Sloane King Chronicles was freaking awesome as I knew it would be.

Of course, Sloane "Lo" was kicking butt and taking names being the strong fearsome female she is but Lo was unraveling a little bit. I could see her cracks in this one, depression, and anxiety, the stress of fixing the realms and keeping her loved ones safe is starting to wear on Lo. Good thing the guys are holding on strong, fighting off their enemies side-by-side with Lo and each other. The guys have absolutely fallen for Lo and she's fallen for them. Lo finally has the family that she needs, one who understands and supports her and who's crazy right alongside her.

So I'm gonna spill the beans a little. I never really thought negatively about Lo's parents because she loved the dads so much and Amelia (her mom) for all purposes was believed dead. After the last book, I saw things a little differently, I started to see how they failed Lo in a lot of ways, how she's now cleaning up their mess and it's never become clearer than in this story. Sloane is fuming at Nate and she's not wrong, the vampire royally ticked me off in this one. As for Amelia, she was a total disappointment, the woman can't be related to Lo, I don't see how it's possible. Let's just say t.hey have to work on some things.

As usual, the plot was brilliant, slightly dark, and pure chaos and I devoured it. The story is set in the fae realm which I wish I got to see more of but it was the fae that was interesting. Their history, how their powers work, and the differences between them and everyone was very interesting. I wouldn't mind a fae book from Adele in the future.

Fae Farewells was freaking fabulous, how could it not be with a strong confident woman with a brilliant mind, who is beyond capable and slightly crazy? Plus the action, morally gray characters (who I love), magic, and the freaking jaw-dropping plot twists, I mean what was that? Fantastic read. There is only one book left in the series and while I'm super excited to see what happens, especially after an ending like that, I'm so sad to see it go. Sloane's story will be wrapping up in Hybrid Heroics.

Sloane (FMC) finds herself caught up in the Fae realm not only being involved confronting Alania who misguidedly believes herself to be a Fae Queen but also helping Vaughn, his family and hers too in the process. Plenty of brilliant plot twists and turns which I've loved throughout this series. As well as lots of wit, laughs and steam. Sloane & the guys definitely keep you know your toes. With that Epilogue Im looking forward to the final book so bloody much!!!

It seems like we've been waiting forever to go to the fae realm when it really has only been roughly six weeks since Sloane met her mates. This story has such a fast pace to it but is chock full of action, mayhem, romance, and mystery. There has never been a dull moment in this series as trouble just follows Sloane or she has an incredible knack at finding it.

The fae realm brings out a very different side of Vaughn in this book. The well controlled fae releases some intense and powerful vibes now that he is back in his own realm, power boosted by his mating to Sloane, and there to seek revenge on the ruling queen to save his and Sloane's family. I don't know if his upgrade in power gave him a massive dose of bravery, but he also was able to give Sloane some cold, hard truth, making her second guess how she treats her men.

Just like with Vaughn, you also see a switch in demeanor in Sloane as well--for much different reasons. This woman has had so much going on in a very short amount of time, constantly fighting battles that aren't her own and cleaning up messes started by others. To top it off, something or someone is hanging around that shouldn't be, causing a drain on her, her demon and wolf just mere shadows in her subconscious. But don't let her small moment of weakness get to you. She doesn't let stuff like that stand, always finding a way around any problems in order to protect her treasures. Sloane is an incredible, logical fighter and leader, even if a lot of her plans are just made on the fly, winging it her specialty. She always gets results.

Expect a crazy ton of surprises in this book--I'm talking, there's no possible way you could have predicted some of this happening, type of twists. I'm sure even the author surprised herself while writing it. Like all of the books in this series so far, it keeps you on your toes and leaves you begging for more. Definitely pick up this series. Sloane and her mates are simply incredible.

I’ve missed this series so much! I can’t wait to read how the series wraps up in Hybrid Heroics (book 7) but I also don’t want it to end. Sloane is one of my favorite take no sh*t FMC’s. Strong, capable, smart, dangerous, powerful - and she has the perfect mates to balance/support her. Novak was always my favorite but now that we got to see another side of Vaughn, it’s too hard to choose! But why choose, amirite ladies?

After a prologue dated 5 years in the past from Vaughn’s POV, Fae Farewells picks up on the same day when Mage Massacres ended. Sloane and her guys finally make it to the Fae realm! Throughout the book we get a continuation of the series plot, anticipation, tension, a good amount of violence, steam and even humor. I seriously loved this other side of Vaughn we get to see and I’m really hoping it’s not just a side effect of regaining his full power by being back in his realm because I need more! The tension and drama is high as we get closer to the finale and more insight into Sloane’s prophecy comes to light. The villain, Alric is closer than Sloane and her guys first thought and drastic measures are taken. I cannot recommend this series enough! I can’t wait for Hybrid Heroics, but also sad it’s coming to an end.

    Steam: 🌶🌶🌶
    Angst: 🔥🔥🔥
    Violence: 🩸🩸🩸

This series is one of my favorite series EVER!!!

Fae Farewells is book #6 in The Chronicles of Sloane King series. Its a paranormal, why choose romance.

I am so dang excited to be back in this world!!

We pick up where we left off in Mage Massacres. Sloane and all of her mates are going to the fae realm. They aren't going to have it easy (when do they ever) and they will have to fight (Sloanes favorite thing) plus they have to figure out who or what is in Sloanes head.

MF Adele blows my mind with each new book in this series. There is always so much action, an amazing storyline that keeps you guessing, characters that you will want to know in real life, amazingly hot spice, this series has it all!! And that ending, i cant wait for the next book, but I'm not ready for it to be the end 😭😭😭

If you haven't read this series yet, go do it now!! This series is EPIC!!!

Another fab addition to the series! I love the plot twists, you think you know what is going on but they soon change it up on us! The tender moments we see between Sloane and her mates during this book now that they are all bonded are sweet and add to the development of their relationship.

We finally visit the fae lands and get to discover more about Vaughn's side of the family and watch Sloane be the badass that she is as she tackles the fae land's problems. It kept me hooked all the way through and the epilogue kept me wanting the last book in the series even more. Definitely worth a pick up if you have been debating it!

Wow! Vaughn... I always loved him but wow! So much power! I'm glad I don't have to chose One of them because we can have them all! Eliane is really something else and we see how She lives her guys and does everything to protect them and they do it for her too. This series is amazing. I was waiting for this book from the beggining when we knew something was happening in the FAE realm and wow. Amazing. All the bons from this serie are so good and that data a lot about the author. Can't wait for the final book!

  • Dominique

I don't think I realized how much I missed Sloane and her guys until I had this book in my hands. Her story is so worth the wait though! Fae Farewells does well in pushing our plot line forward with so much tension and action that I find myself loving these characters even more. The action (aka the violence), the spice, and all the little details are what make this series one of my all time favorites. I'm nervous to see how Sloane's story will end with Hybrid Heroics but I just know it will be epic!

M.F. Adele has out done herself again with this book. I was hooked from the very beginning. MF Adele knows how to pull you in and keep you wanting more. This journey in the Winter Fae Kingdom has everything you could expect. Sloane and her mates have a tuff road ahead of them. Their fight is just getting started with her Uncle Alric and the fake Winter Queen Alania. Now with the help of her mates will they be able to bring down the evil that has plagued the Winter Fae Kingdom . Only one way to find out. Believe me you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for the next book.

Fae Farewells picks up the series after the Mage Massacres with Sloane and her men finally making it to the fae realm.

I greatly enjoy Sloane's character and the witty attitude she has. She's a total baddie and owns it, letting everyone know type of queen that she is. Sloane also has a great connection with her men, and some pretty steamy scenes too. I became really partial to Vaughn and his newfound side once they entered the fae realm.

    Overall rating:
    4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    2 🌶 🌶

This is the sixth book in The Chronicles of Sloane King, and what a story! As with the previous books in the series, this one continues the amazing storyline following Sloane and her incredible men!

I love the action, the intrigue, and of course all the steaminess! I know this series will be coming to an end with the next book, but I just don’t want it to end!

I absolutely loved this book and am super excited for the next one!

    HE Double Hockey sticks!

I devoured this book. I could not put it down. Re-read the entire series to get to this and Fae Farewells did not disappoint. It knocked me on my bum. Sloane and Vaughn in the temple……smokin! Alric seriously needs to get his chaps handed to him in a major way and Sloane really deserves a vacation. This was a fast paced ride on the crazy train that is Sloane King and I’m all for it. Now I desperately wait for what I am sure will be an epic conclusion!

"It's been ages since the last update of Sloane and her hot men and I missed them so much!!! Once again there wasn't a pice of peace, add all the tension and angst? Things aren't easily for our heroes but I'm rooting for them. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars was because the steam. Yeah they were moments but it felt something more was missing maybe dirtiest scenes, more s€× or... will let you decide."

  • Kelly Bugler

Brilliant read. Absolutely love this series.
Sloane once again is surrounded by those she loves and those that are complete morans and who need to die.
I cant believe we are on Book 6 of the series and its not completed yet. this is such a good series. Full of twists and turns you never see coming. I could not put this down just like the others.
brilliant read. cant wait to get my hands on the next.

    The end to new beginnings

The faux fae queen is the next battle on the board. Rescue mission: save the Winters n the Kings is a go. Someone has been meddling in Sloane's mind. It was a little off putting that the badass villain wasn't actually all that. They're now realizing they could've done things differently n they wouldn't have needed saving. Its all kinda anti climactic. Whatever..🤷 Still enjoy Sloane being a badass n the sexy times are hawt!🔥

  • Amy

    yessss i need more sloane

Well sloane is definitely a baddie. She went to the fae world with her mates , she helped Vaughn find and rescue his parents. There were some nice steamy scenes amongst sloane and her mates. A few unalivings . So much action in this book it was awesome. This cliff hanger has me itching for the next book.

  • Katie

Oh how I missed Sloane. She is just a amazing main character. This book was a fantastic book. Finally Sloane is back. This book will definitely be keeping you up just to finish. I freaking loved it. This is book 6 in the series and definitely need to read in order. Lots of action in this one. Oh I so need the next one. Still in awe after reading. Highly recommend!!!

  • Beth

    Almost the end

Rig is the only one of a certain mate group I like at this point. The others don't deserve Sloane. Aside from that we get a lot of I'm resolutions for the continuing issues which is good because we only have one book left...I think its one anyway. Enjoy that last chapter and epilogue ;)

  • Jennifer

    Amazing!

This series just keeps getting better and better! I have loved Sloane King since book one, and her incredible mates. I can't wait to read the next book, but will be sad the series is over.

  • Cheyenne Rousseau

    Wow

Honestly I gotta say I'm mad at all her parents especially the two they just rescued

They aren't understanding and only care about themselves

I can't wait to see how this all ends

    10/5
