Merciless. Wicked. Treacherous. Sinners.

Waking up tied to a bed wasn’t how I envisioned my morning going. In fact, after the Kings found out my dirty little secret, I should be dead.

But if there’s an opportunity to play dangerous games, best believe the Kings are the first to call the shots.

They’ve crossed a line with me, and the Lords are ready to retaliate.

This isn’t just a war between the two sides anymore, and I’m not just a nobody now. I’m a queen who will stop at nothing to protect what belongs to me.

This is a game of survival, and I’ve never been so ready to play.

Pretty Little Sins is a mature academy dark romance with multiple male love interests. Read the foreword before proceeding.

Pretty Little Sins (Kings of Bolten, #2) Reviews

  • Jenifer Briggs

**This is a review of both books together since my ass didn't want to review before starting book two -- I'm a needy bitch and needed all the answers right away, but now I'm left with the cliffhangers of all cliffhangers?! Where's August at?

I don't usually do dark romances anymore with anti heroes, cause the ones I've read is basically just an excuse for the men to act like trash the whole book/series but its OK because he did it since he was "so in love" with the heroine. *major eye roll* and even though I knew this was book two of a three book series i told myself I would pace myself and everything would be fine, but this would SUCKED ME IN. from the very first page of book one I was just enthralled with the deliciously dark story KG has spun and I just couldn't get enough. I resurfaced when I needed to for silly things like feeding my children (they don't *need* to eat everyday, lmao. *totally kidding.*)) annd then like an addict, I was glued to my kindle seeing what Bianca and her men were up to. And booooyyy. My girl got in some SHIT. like all she wanted to to was escape her rapey step-dad and then she found herself trapped in an arranged marriage with an absolute PSYCHO, and then gained protection from the vicious kings. But to be fair, these guys are vicious for a reason, and nobody touches their girl except them. But daaammmnn this poor girl couldn't catch a break! Everyone and their damn dog was trying to kill her, and the one semi-normal person she found solace with even had a nefarious plan. Like cmon dudes-- let this girl live. And then everything came to head in the first book and that cliffy had me on pins and needles, but what came after in this book?! Holy fuck.

From the very beginning of this book , the emotions ran even higher. My heart broke seeing B so shut down, but maaaann, these guys know how to grovel! I don't think I've read such a good grovel in a while, and my heart just went out to all of them in this situation. I loved how fierce Dom was in proving that he always had her best intentions at heart and never wanted to kill her, and that she has his heart and soul. Vinny, the sweetheart he is, did everything he could to worm back into her heart and seeing him break down when he thought all hope was lost just made me want to bundle him up. And Levin.. God that boo bear and my soul ACHING for him. I didn't love his story arc (if you know you know) but I get why he did it. But when he and B finally got past their shit, I swear they have the most beautiful relationship. And I don't say that lightly because I seriously love them all. Then there's Fallon, and omg, the way that man loves her, I swear. He feels so guilty because all he was doing was trying to save his sister and he never expected to fall for B, and when he did there was no clear cut way to save them both. But their reunion brought tears to my eyes and i loved how he proved himself not only to her, but to the rest of the kings as well. These men are all so different from one another, but they all make a family, both in their love for each other and B. I really loved how Dom is this hardass mafia dude, but he's so affectionate with his boys and B. It just makes me love him even more, and I need a full on peen vs peen scene in the last book!

Now the action -- OMG. Just when we thought we knew how something would turn out, psych ya didn't! So much happens (I mean this is an almost 600 page book) but I was just riveted until the last page. And then THEY SHOW UP. HOLY FUCK ME FREDDY. what are they doing here? What is going to happen to you know who? How will the Harem and B survive this? What will happen next?! I need all the answers like yesterday!!

Don't walk, just run your booties to the one click button. To say I'm obsessed with this series is putting it midly, and I barley scratched the surface with all that happens in these books. Just now if you like your romances a lot dark and twisted, this is for you!!

all bianca did was cry this entire book…i guess the ending was somewhat interesting but not worth more than 2 stars
i had more to say but i honestly can’t even remember

This book put me in a fucking wringer! The first half kinda pissed me off, Bianca being a whiny bitch 🥴. Thankfully the storyline gets more and more engaging with all the drama, steam, angst and unfortunate occurrences 😬. I did not expect to have a cross-over character from different series, it just added more dynamic and fervour to the narrative. As usual, this book ends on a cliffy, but that's nothing new since this is by the torture queen, K.G. Reuss 🥺🖤.

I just finished reading Pretty Little Sins now, and I have been left reeling and in a puddle of a mess...

  • Valentina

    Magical!

With the first book ending on a cliffhanger of all cliffhangers, this book continues from that shocking ending and never lets up! The Kings have enemies on all fronts -- the rival Lords, the mafia wars, and a surprising new group. How about those boys from Black Falls High? All this intrigue compounded with a touch of discord inside the group while they protected and catered to their little wasp, Bianca.

But let's take a moment to talk about the spice. Hot! From the sexual tension, to the jealous-possessiveness, to the technique (where did you learn those motions? lol), this author crafted the sex with creativity and ingenuity. Phew!

Progressive pace with a gradual unveiling of events twisted in the unexpected, you never knew what is going to happened next, and you couldn’t look away. Just when you think you knew, the course diverted into a new path. This book was relentless, captivating, and the characters so complementary to the rich intricacies of the storyline that I can't wait for all the upcoming books. The Bolten boys or Black Falls High / Mayfair? I can't decide.

It's really awesome when an author takes a world and makes these characters. They have lives and start to become real in a sense. Then that same author writes another series and brings more characters to life and weaves those two worlds together. The world becomes an entire universe where all these characters exist. Sometimes that works, and sometimes it crashes and burns. This is one of those times where it not only worked but it made the story that much better. It's absolutely insane to me how each character has their own individual personality and none of them overlap or bleed into each other's persona. And omg that ending........

    Pretty Little Sins

Gah... that cliffhanger!!! Please say it won't be so. I really hope things don't go how it seems. I love how K.G. is giving us crossovers in her universe. It's been a while since I've read about some these guys. I'll have to go back and refresh my memory on them. Can't wait for book 3. Crossing my fingers for B, Vin, Dom, Lev, and Fallon. The Lord's can fall off a cliff with daddy dearest. Hopefully the Kings and the Horsemen come together to make that happen.

  • Jessica Arias

Can it get any better! Oh my god this second book sure had my emotions all over the place. The spice was legit 🔥 in this! Like your girl needs a fan to cool off! Also I was furious with a few certain somones in this one that I wanted to reach into my kindle and ....urg!!! You get the idea...but the real brutal part of it all is how our Queen of cliffhangers could do that to me in the end of this one 😫. I need the next one like right now! This series is definitely a TOP READ of the year!

  • Clara

Damn this series is so fricking amazing! I can't stop reading. Absolutely loving these characters K G Reuss has created

The crossover plus the cliffhanger is to die for!

In my opinion, this book is not as dark as
Dirty Little Secrets, but it’s still a dark RH book. Therefore, if you have triggers, don’t like/enjoy RH, or have slightly dipped your toes in the dark romance genre, this book is probably not the best to start with. It is not for the faint of heart. I strongly suggest visiting the author’s page to read all trigger warnings before jumping in.

The main characters are 18 but seem so much older. The content is very descriptive and graphic so it might make you uncomfortable at times if you’re not used to reading books with dark themes. If you are starting to read dark romance, I would recommend reading the Black Falls High series (Book 1
In Ruins: A Dark High School Bully Romance) first, since it’s also a RH, it’s super good and not as dark. Again, all triggers can be found in the author’s page.

The book picks up right after the end of book 1 so we get all the answers the cliffhanger left in its wake. We are still in Bolton Academy and the Kings and the Lords are constantly at each other’s throats with Bianca in the crossfire.

To summarize: Levin got on my nerves, Dom and Vinny have my heart, I want Dom’s dad dead, and the Lords are still aholes.

A bunch of things go down that had my head spinning. And oh, THE ENDING! OMG THE ENDING! Not to give anything away but we get a crossover with the horseman from Black Falls High!! (If you haven’t read the series go read it!). I loved seeing the two worlds collide and how each interacted. I can’t want to see more of these characters together in Book 3
Deadly Little Promises: A Dark Bully Romance and in
May We Rise: A Dark College Bully Romance

Overall, I LOVED this book. It was a super quick read. Multiple POV. The pacing was good, and the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I can’t wait to read the next installment!

Prepare for a book hangover from hell.

  • cheyguyxoxo

    Love!

I’m absolutely speechless, this universe has me in a chokehold. That crossover had me screaming! I cant wait for the next one! K. G. Reuss is the queen of cliffhangers 😩

*I received an ARC for an honest review*

Continuing on from Dirty Little Secrets cliffhanger, only to end in an even more torturous, killer cliffhanger.
K.G. Reuss proved once again why she is the Queen of Torture and Cliffys with Pretty Little Sins!

  • MissDankReads

Dirty Little Secrets ended with an explosive cliffy that Pretty Little Sins continues. Right from the start, things are happening and don’t stop until the last page. KG Reuss killed it with the second installment of Kings of Bolten and showed us once again why she’s one of the Queens of Cliffhangers.

Bianca is forced to make some tough decisions, sometimes she doesn’t even get a choice, and ultimately lives through the consequences. She’s growing up and growing stronger because of everything she’s going through and becoming one hell of a FMC to root for. Sometimes you’re gonna want to scream and hit her, especially when you read what happens between her and Levin and it takes her a while to swallow her pride and fear and admit some hard truths to herself and everyone else but when she does, it’s a huge relief. I felt like I was going through everything right along with her. I felt Bianca’s pain, happiness, sadness, and love. And not just Bianca’s, Reuss writes in such a way that you become extremely attached and invested in the characters and their story so you feel like you’re really along for the ride. I did not want this book to end and am eagerly awaiting Deadly Little Promises.

I really felt for Fallon in this book. He’s in a dangerous and tricky situation but he does it because his love for Bianca trumps all. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Dominic who is the ultimate alpha with psychotic possessive tendencies but he loves Bianca so much that he’d do literally anything to make her happy.

Reuss also cranks up the heat in this book and we get to see some one on one along with group scenes which were hot as hell. I can’t wait for more of that. Book 2 is definitely spicier than book 1 and I can’t wait to see if book 3 is even hotter. I really hope so!

The angst and drama is also turned up. Especially with the Horsemen from Black Falls High entering the scene. If you haven’t read Black Falls High series yet, I definitely recommend that. We’re reunited with Cole, Fox, Ethan and Enzo. We get to see how much more unhinged Cole has become after a few years of working as Enzo’s right hand man which made for a crazy intense cliffy, and even though I hate what happened (you’ll understand why when you read it), I also loved it. It was hard to read because we love the Kings and we also love the Horsemen, but I couldn’t stop reading. I’m hoping and have my fingers crossed for an alliance between the Kings and the Horsemen to take off everyone else from the board since they have the same enemies and a lot in common in regards to being involved in the same type of illegal underground and being the harem of the woman they’re obsessed with. Pretty sure it won’t be hard for them to find common ground if they gave it even minimum effort.

Favorite quote “F***, these pants are made of protein!”

This was for sure a 5 star read for me.

    🔥Pretty Little Sins🔥
    Kings of Bolten #2

Wow. That's all that my brain can push out right now, because WHAT did I just read?

This second installment picks up just days after where book 1 (Dirty Little Secrets) left off. You won't want to miss the angst and turmoil brewing, because it never stops. Page turning book, maximum level.

Bianca, is once again forced to do something she just avoided in Dirty Little Secrets, but does she regret it? I'm not saying things go from rough seas to smooth sailing. Big fat NOPE. The author has intricately woven secrets on top of secrets and dire situations get more complicated.

Bianca is the type of heroine I want as a reader. She grows, admits to mistakes and grows from them. She is not in the TSTL category. She is a survivor and will fight for what she wants. #teamBianca

As for the boys? Be still my heart. Tormented, broody, tough, determined and in love. Not the sweet kind of love, but the kind that hurts, a lot. You will feel a lot of different emotions while reading this book. Don't give up. I promise the journey is worth it.

War between many will begin. In a very abstract way, I get Helen of Troy vibes with an actual person being the Trojan horse. That's the beauty of this book and the way it is written. The story and characters have progressed in their journey, but so much has yet to be revealed. You will learn quickly why the author is known as the queen of cliffy's.

As for spice? This one was kicked up a few notches. Somebody call the FD, my Kindle is on fire. 49% in. That's all I'm saying.

We are also introduced to the horsemen from The Black Falls series. They become players, so if you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for? The horsemen are now in college and all grown up. They are the danger lurking in the shadows.

The cliffhanger is made of epic proportions. Though, if you follow the author on TT, she's left a breadcrumb trail of hints.

Written in 1st POV with multiple POV's.

Please note: the release dates on 'Zon are placeholders. This book will be released in June 2022.

K.G. Reuss knows what she is doing when she writes these books because OMG! Before I continue, I want to point out that this book or should I say series (or even all the books K.G. Reuss writes) has some heavy triggers that you should probably check out before reading. Especially if you aren't use to dark shiii! 😈
Oh I do also want to mention that in this book there is a crossover of characters from K.G. Reuss's other series Black Falls High. I recommend that you read that series before starting this one. Pretty Little Sins practically starts off where Dirty Little Secrets ends. And what follows is flucken crazy epic! Dominic is a wet dream that just keeps on giving. Levin....that man has my black heart! 🖤 And the F word!!!!! 🤯 There was spice in this book that was book drool worthy but what took that cake in my opinion was all the flucken fuuny af scenes. Like...I don't know how to explain it without giving away any spoilers. So you will just have to read the book to understand what I mean. It was hilarious. I'm just going to mention one thing and hope that after you read the book, that you remember this review and laugh at what I mean by it. Or all of it! lol ....LEOPARD! 😈 This book was really freaken good! The ending though.....total mind fluck! But in a good way of course lol...or not! You'll see! I wish I could like read the book again as if it was my first time because it was that amazing. Anywho, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I would like to stab a knife through Dominic's fathers' chest! 🖤
    Happy Reading! 😈

Wow!!!! I'm speechless!!! KG Reuss has blown me away yet again!!

Pretty Little Sins is book #2 in the Kings of Bolten series. Its a dark reverse harem. Make sure to read the Trigger Warning!!!

We pick up where we left off in Dirty Little Secrets. Bianca is heartbroken and doesn't trust Dom, Vincent and Levin. She is forced into something that she was already running away from.

There are so many secrets and lies, things get pretty crazy, and we get some POVs from all of them. I don't wanna give anything away, you are just gonna have to read it.

I love Bianca. She is such a strong, amazing FMC and I just adore her.

Dom, my bloody love, grew on me so much in this book. His POVs and the things he would think about his wasp, ugh my heart!!

Vincent will always be my #1 love in this harem. He won't stop until he has his Baby Bs love and I just wanted to hug him!

Levin says he isnt good at showing his emotions, but the way he spilled his feelings to Bianca is so freaking sweet. Even though I wanted to shake him sometimes in this book 😂

And when my favorite Horsemen started getting mentioned, i was squealing!!! I am so excited to see my two favorite series come together!!

The spice in Pretty Little Sins is Kindle melting, panty moistening hot!! I am OBSESSED!!

In true KG fashion, she throws us off a cliffhanger that will have you screaming, maybe crying and possibly emotionally damaged.

I am so in love with this series. If you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for!!!

  • Rebecca Edwards

Holy crap this book was amazing. This is Book 2 in the Kings of Bolten Series, and they need to be read in order. We begin this book right where Book 1 ends. With that being said this book will also end with a cliffhanger but be prepared to go on one hell of a ride to get there.
I ran the emotional gauntlet with this book. I can't count the number of times that I found myself laughing at this book. There was a scene with the F word that had me laughing so hard I was crying. Don't let the fact that I was laughing a lot fool you because there were times, I wanted to throw my iPad across the room. I think the only thing that saved it is the fact that I have a big bed and could toss it towards the end of the bed when I found myself wanting to strangle them for their stubbornness and stupidity. Besides tears of happiness, I also had tears of sadness. Tears shed from feeling like my heart was breaking and being ripped from my chest.
There's just so much I want to say about this book, but I don't want to give away any spoilers. So, what I can safely say is you think you know but you don't know. Be prepared for a page-turning adventure that will have you wondering what is going to happen next. Not to mention the crossover - mind-blowing! I can't wait for the next book to release!
Go out and buy this book now! Remember it ends on a cliffhanger and you need to read Book 1 before starting this book. A complete list of triggers for the book and series can be found on the authors website.

K.G. Reuss has done it again! Book 2 (Pretty Little Sins) of the Kings of Bolten series will be released soon and if you haven’t pre-ordered it, don’t wait. Stop what you’re doing and pre-order it (the release date listed on Amazon is a placeholder date, it will be released much sooner - probably in a few weeks). If you haven’t started this series, there is no better time to start so you can be ready to read Pretty Little Sins as soon as it’s released.

Pretty Little Sins picks up just days after Dirty Little Sins ends. There will be so much hatred and pain as this book starts out. Bianca is hurting and she feels betrayed by all the men she loved. You won’t like some of them either.

However, now that Bianca has “chosen” the Kings, the lords, led by Mikhail, are ready to go to war. In addition to that war, ancient traditions to which Dominic’s father still adheres may force the Kings to be in a second war.

This book also introduces a crossover with The Horsemen from Black Falls High - and those men are all grown up - and ready to wreak havoc.

There is so much action in this book, and the spice level? Pure 🔥🌶🔥🌶🔥! This book ends on such a cliffhanger, but don’t worry, book 3 will be released sooner than what is listed! Join her group on FB (K.G Reuss’s Renegade Readers) for all latest release info!

    Deliciously dark and super spicy!

What on earth?!?! I am not okay after that cliffhanger and I’m so angry at the horsemen and I have no idea what to think. I thought the end of the first book was insane but this one just takes the cake so does the whole book really! I loved it and now I just need the third book ASAP to know what’s next for both crews and I hope that both Matteo and the lords get what’s coming to them!

This books picks up right where we left off with Bianca about to have her life truly upended and herself permanently tied to the kings. B’s relationships with all the guys is really put to the test but it was so delicious when it all finally starts to come together. Vincent is still my absolute favorite and is still the goofy guy in the group. Dominic and Fallon surprised me in this one. Dominic had the best character development out of them all and we saw him soften and really make B his everything. Fallon was a downright mess for most of the book but his devotion was so sweet and pure. Ugh and then there is Levin. He made me so angry and so did Bianca in all their interactions. I wanted to throw my kindle across the room at some moments. I wish we got to see more of them together in this book after all that anger.

  • Sarah Beth

God this book was absolutely fucking AMAZING! The plot was chef's kiss and the writing was impeccable! K.G. absolutely blew this book out of the water!

While reading there were moments I had to stop and breathe for these characters. My heart hurt so much for Dominic, Levin and Vincent. The consequences for their actions from book 1 were warranted from Bianca, but man could she bring these boys to their knees with her venom. She was no longer that timid girl from the first book, she found her voice and was definitely not afraid to use it!

My heart absolutely broke into a million pieces for all of these characters. Bianca knew how to use her words in ways to slice the kings hearts up and watch them bleed. So many emotions were had for these boys.

To see these viscious men become broken and miserable was not expected at all. I was here for every emotion I got to experience for the kings and B. From the humor, heartache, anger, fear and love displayed on these pages and to see the outcome for them at the end had me smiling.

Of course, K.G. isn't who she is without that cliffhanger so be prepared because some familiar faces make an appearance and I'm here for every second of it!

  • Brandi

Pretty Little Sins starts right where Dirty Little Secrets ended with that cliffhanger and we see how that all turns out. This book was a crazy ride with all the things that go down.

I love that KG Reuss writes her FMCs to be strong and not just rollover and let the guys get away with everything. Bianca seriously makes the guys grovel and I’m so here for it. The guys have their hands full in this book with all the threats coming on every side. It’s like they just can’t catch a break. It will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat needing to see what happens next. Levin….him and Bianca and all the angst in this book! Just when I thought Dom’s dad couldn’t be worse after what he did in Dirty Little Secrets…he tops it…I can’t remember the last time I hated a character so much lol

The crossover with the Horsemen from the Black Falls High characters was everything! If you haven’t read that series yet, I highly recommend it as it’s another great dark RH by KG. This cliffhanger was so much worse than the last one but so worth it! I need the next book like yesterday though lol

  • M Mendes Bookstagram

O.M.G…..I hate cliffhangers. I know it usually does what it intends. I am dying to read Deadly Little Promises. I love how strong and resilient Bianca is and that she was finally getting things to start going in the right direction but then bam things go sideways. K.G. Reus knows how to capture your attention then keep it with lots of twists, turns, drama, angst, secrets, revelations, emotions, things going sideways, and lots and lots of heat. Then just when you think you know what is about to happen and here comes the cliffhanger. I unfortunately got this as an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) so I didn’t read the extended epilogue but heard it was a good one. While waiting for Deadly Little Promises I am going to take author, K.G. Reuss’ suggestion and read the Black Falls series and Church from The Boys of Chapel Crest series. I can’t get enough of K.G. Reuss’ books. Definitely on my fave author list. Highly recommend Pretty Little Sins (but after reading Dirty Little Secrets), Kings of Bolten series, and K.G. Reuss as an author. Happy reading!!!

WEAK FMC. IMMATURE FIGHTS. ENDS IN A CLIFFHANGER.

I would have given this book a rating of three stars since the FMC was too weak, always made scenes, immature and was only good at s*x, but the last 10% of the book had been action-packed with the appearance of the four horsemen so I'm giving this a rating of four stars. I really hope that the FMC would step up and won't have to be a damsel in distress all the time. She relied too much on the guys here and was h*rny all the time. There was no character growth on her part. There was no improvement on what happened with Bianca's father. It felt like this book was about Dominic's breeding k*nk and how he wanted her to get pregnant with his baby. I'm just glad that the guys and Fallon finally got along here. I hope that there will be more plot than steamy scenes in the next book as there are lots of questions needed to be answered. I will not give up and still read the next book in the series. I want to know how everything will end. I have faith in the author as I love all her previous books.

  • Katie W

    Mind Blowing Roller Coaster Ride

This book is filled with intensity that is off the charts. There is so much going on that you are kept on the edge of your seat the entire time. There is no denying these powerful Kings will do anything for their Queen. This book delves deeper into their relationship together and brings the introduction to a new gang The Horsemen who are selling drugs and encroaching on everyone’s territory.

The cat is out of the bag about Dom & Bianca and that has caused entire new storm of problems and enemies. These men are desperate to keep her safe and will and do anything to make that a reality!! This book is just as intense as Book 1 but the cliffhanger at the end is going to gut you so be prepared!! As always, you won’t be able to put this down until the end and then you will be running to read Book 3 because the need to know is going to be all consuming. Happy Reading!!!

  • Shelly Rogers

    I Was NOT Ready

Stand by…Let me scream first at that ending!!!

Ok…buckle up and hold on tight. I could not put this down. And I was NOT prepared for the Horsemen to show up. I don’t know who I love and who I hate anymore. There are so many emotions. I’m just broken. I can’t have them fighting. I love them all! Except Hail. He can kick rocks with no shoes and then step on legos. I just can’t breathe with that ending. I NEED ANSWERS!!

I love this author. I love the story. I love the characters. I just love it all. I laughed so hard at some parts. My heart broke and rejoiced at others. I’m not prepared to hate any of them. I am mad at the Horsemen right now…but only time will tell if they get redeemed!

  • Serena Holt

    Mistress of cliffhangers

KG has done it again! I was totally falling for Levin and his sourpuss attitude and the horsemen arrive. The kings are still in highschool and their actions reflect as much. Not necessarily a bad thing, but they can be so d@mn frustrating. And Bianca is slowly growing on me, slowly. She needs to grow a lot for this relationship to last. Well, they all do. But the story is so well written that you have no choice, but to become invested in them all.
I read BFH last year and already knew I liv s the horsemen. I am very glad I only just started this series since book 3 was only recently released. I'm off to finish that one and impatiently await book 4. Bravo KG!
