Jenna’s SEAL: Special Forces Operation Alpha: Finding Home Book 1 is by Julia Bright. This book deals with the SEALs team out of Hawaii. None of this particular team are married or have special girlfriends. Vine is the team leader of this particular team.
Jenna Mettler is a CIA agent who is working undercover as Leanne Alexander, aide to Senator Devlin. In doing her regular job gathering information, Jenna came across information that Senator Devlin was giving vital information to terrorists which resulted in the deaths of 500 Americans in a bombing. As her last job for the CIA, she undertook the job of being an aide to Senator Devlin to see what information she could gather that would expose who he really was to the American people. So far, her job had proved only that he covered his tracks very well. Even getting as close as possible to his wife, she was having no luck. Then, the Senator unexpectedly took them to a cabin near the border and met with some people she didn’t know. She and Devlin’s wife were separated from the Senator in a separate cabin so she missed the possible information she could get.
Feeling her life might be in danger, she managed to get a message sent to Admiral Light, a family friend, asking for help. The Admiral was on a ship headed home with a contingent of SEALs when he received the message. He immediately turned around and addressed the problem with Vine, the SEAL team’s leader. The team set out to rescue Jenna not knowing the mess they would find themselves in.
The book is full of action and suspense. Would they find the information they needed to get justice against the Senator or would they be bogged down with information they could not use. -
I loved this book because there was plenty of action, suspense, intrigue and of course Navy Seals. Jenna was a CIA operative undercover as Devlin's assistant. She's trying to get proof to take him down. She meets Vine's team when they go to rescue them when Jenna and Devlin's team is kidnapped (supposedly). Julie writes great stories and I wasn't disappointed. HEA.
