WHAT A FINALE
I really enjoyed this series. I would love to read a spin-off on the remaining Carter siblings. These characters have been through so much and at times it seemed like they weren't going to make it but glad they were able to pull it together and get the happiness they deserved. Although he wasn't as loyal as the kids thought, I wish Lowe was still around to tell his story. Overall good ending. -
People who we thought were loyal wasn’t even really loyal. Questions were answered but also more was revealed.

Cre- i am so happy you got answers about your parents and you're finally happy! you went through a lot of bs being the protector of your family .. too damn much. i wish you would've gotten all the right info about everybody because its def. still secrets lingering.
Josie- you really annoying bro. I could nottttt be on her side for nothing. You blamed Cre for retaliating for your dads' jealous and vindictive ass actions. YOUR daddy deserved death. OH!!! and now i know why novacane lost the damn trial!
Cire- you had me in the beginning, i really felt bad for you because of cream BUT its almost like you didnt learn that secrets only lead to destruction. you lied about lowe (although he deserved that shit), but you hid that to stay in good graces with cre and THEN you lied about rose. it's giving very much sneaky & i dont trust you. & did you handle money/hunter.. while you playing CPS investigator?
lowe- i really thought you was a real nigga but you was a snake. you let coco play on your top & set cream up to be killed so you could finally have her. everything you did was out of guilt.
sevyn- a real one. she's a real friend despite josie gomdn. she was the only female i enjoyed in this series lol.
overall, this series was good af. CRE you are that nigga.

what a series!
I thoroughly enjoyed each part of this series. The characters were complex which added so many layers to this read. It was almost like each person had their own story and a purpose bigger than what was on the page —similar to real life. No fillers, great story-telling, with a unique plot and sub-plots. DAK is quickly capturing my heart as a reader. -
Man all I can say is Cre is definitely that ninja and Jose been that female. This was my intro to Dak and I was not disappointed at all. Just met this woman and I’m extremely proud of what she’s created.

Great Read! It's terrible Josie's and cre was caught in the middle of a war. I'm glad kalou met his maker and cire gave rose a chance at life even if she sold her soul to the devil.

This author is Amazing at filling in the blanks. When it comes to not leaving question unanswered she has it down pack. This book was one that I was able to read from started to finish I couldn’t stop. I needed to know what was going to happen next; it kept me engaged.

I was a little salty with the way that Tamar did Ali but shit everyone can’t be CRE rite 🤷🏾♀️. And as far as my favorite part of this book I think it was getting to see CRE and his moms relationship bloom. I just hope it’s not gonna all be for nothing if he ever finds out about her lie about Rose. If I could ask this author one question it would be; Can we get a spin off about Sev and EZ I love their relationship or what’s becoming of their relationship I should say. Cuz that part when he found her sick and has the IG chef come make soup melted my heart. Overall this book was good and a great finale to this series. Happy reading
