No doubt about it: hotel rooms are hot. The minute you slip the key in the door, you want to strip off your clothes and dive naked between the sheets, whether there's a lover there to share in the indulgence or not. From luxe, five-star lodgings to seedy no-tell motels, hotels offer the chance to unwind, relax, and - if given the chance - become someone else altogether. This steamy collection takes listeners behind those anonymous closed doors with sexy, scintillating tales of singles and couples frolicking and flaunting themselves for their own naughty purposes.
Featuring work from Alison Tyler, Shane Allison, Donna George Storey, Shanna Germain, Saskia Walker, and others, the stories in 'DO NOT DISTURB' offer the sense that anything can happen - and quite often it does.

Do Not Disturb Reviews

An erotic feast is decadently catered by the talented author and editor Ms. Kramer. Do Not Disturb is a collection surrounding erotica and sex with a theme location - hotel rooms. It is quite apropos this reader read the anthology on a business trip whilst staying in a lovely hotel room. Every single story is a steamy erotic read. There is not a bad one in the bunch. Once again, the reader is treated to sumptuous sexual combinations. This is to be expected when Ms. Kramer is involved in a book's publication.
The authors titillate a reader through their witty dialog or blast the reader with arousing imagery. My favourite one is by Ms. de Fer. Her story leaves a reader yearning for me. It ends right as it gets really good.
‘I’m sure you’ll have a lovely time,’ Emma said, her warmth as genuine as a prostitute’s orgasm. (A Touch of Class, a Bit of Rough by Rose de Fer, p.86)
‘Someday I’m going to tie you down spread-eagled over a table in the kitchen with Jean-Michel,’ he said, his words punctuated by powerful thrusts. ‘We’ll take turns licking honey off your nipples and then he can have your pussy while I fuck your arse.’ (A Touch of Class, a Bit of Rough by Rose de Fer, p.95)
‘No, you’re not,’ Lord Charnock said, and Emma caught the hint of a smile in his expression. He seated himself on the ottoman at the foot of the bed and rolled up his right sleeve. Then he patted his knee. (A Touch of Class, a Bit of Rough by Rose de Fer, p.98)
Reading through all these sexually explicit tales, it makes a reader wonder what goes on in a hotel room. When the do not disturb sign hangs off a hotel door knob, what is happening behind the closed doors? Will it be like Ms. Kitten's "Ssshh, No Speaking!" ? Will there be strangers enjoying a hard fucking without words? Or will there be a naughty student seducing a professor such as "Poisons" by Cèsar Sanchez Zapata? The one which is a completely guilty pleasure is Suite Surrender by Willow Sears. Generally, I avoid stories with this plot device. Ms. Sears does a spectacular job with mind fucking both the reader and poor husband. From hotel staff behaving badly to married couples kick starting their sex life again, all of it is a treat to read before bedtime. It also encourages a reader to act a bit more daring whilst staying in a hotel. Hotel sex seems to be more exciting. This erotic collection is recommended to kinky readers who want a guaranteed arousing time.

BDSM Book Reviews -
Don’t you just hate it when Amazon won’t list what’s inside a book? It’s especially irritating with story collections, so here goes with this new collection from Mischief Books. Each skilful, sensual story packs a punch. Who knew you could make a business trip so exciting (Willow Sears)? Find raw passion in an airport hub (
Elizabeth Coldwell)? Taste a sensual mystery in no-nonsense New York (
Jason Rubis)? Lose it with a stranger (Tabitha Kitten)? And with writers like
Kathleen Tudor,
Louise Hooker,
Cesar Sanchez Zapata,
Rose de Fer and
Rachel Kramer Bussell all checked in you’ll look at hotels in a whole new way. Oh, and it's headed up by a story called Something extra by Flora Dain. Enjoy! -
I dont normally go for erotica short stories as I like the build up of the characters and the relationships but I have to say that I did really enjoy this book. Each story lasted around 20 minutes so all short but they were also very sweet! They managed to create a story that you got drawn into and wanted to read in very little words. Each story was very different but the thing that they all had in common was that they were all HOT! Naughtiness, sexiness and some lovely crude bits make this a great read for any erotica lover out there and I would recommend it to anyone....even if you haven't read short stories before <3

This is a collection 0f short stories. All the stories take place within a hotel or a hotel room. Some are better then others. Some of the scenarios were good, others just seemed like scenes without story lines. There were lots of hot scenes. Some contained soft BDSM. A good little read for those that like it hot and fast lol.

This collection of stories gathered by Rachel Kramer Bussel has more variety than a bouquet of colored fall leaves. They are both very well written and inspirational to anyone interested in creative writing and creative sex within the walls of a hotel. The story MEMPHIS by Gwen Masters describes an affair between two people that leaves everyone happy, including the un-knowing wife, while raising the heat to the temperature of the sun. Honestly, it should inspire more, a lot more than a writing project.

Yet again RKB has come out with a hot and sexy collection of stories that definitely pleases. For me, these stories are meant to be enjoyed in single servings, perusing one, lingering over it, finding someone to enjoy it with before moving on to the next. My favorite of the collection is "The Royalton - A Daray Tale"... a very hot mix of submission, anticipation and mystery. But all of the tales have something to offer, some kinkier than others, but all satisfying.

DNF at 20%. I disliked the first story in this so very much, I nearly stopped there. I went ahead and read the second story though, and thought it was interesting, but so short (yes, I know, these are short stories.) What I've learned over the years is I'm not a huge fan of short stories, this being yet another example. Probably not going to continue with this book. Too many other things I want to read.

The two standout stories in this collection are "Something Extra" and "Ssshh, No Speaking!" but there are several decent stories here. Balancing out the collection are a few stories that just didn't do it for me (whether because of weird writing or abrupt endings, and one was just confusing as hell), but I'm glad I took the time to read the whole collection.

I picked up this book thinking there would be some really passionate love scenes in it but it was mostly kinky sex, or sex with strangers, or cheating on spouses. Not big on the extreme kinky and definitely don't like the cheating on spouses thing. There was also a couple girl on girl and guy on guy on guy. Which I didn't enjoy. There were some good ones though and some of the stories I liked part of it but not all. For instance there is one about a woman who is a widow and two years after she lost her husband she met a truck driver at a diner and they ended up going back to his motel room and having sex and decided to make it a yearly thing for every time he comes into town on his particular route. After 8 years of getting together for one night a year he decides to tell her that he is retiring and looking for a place to settle down and wants her to marry him. I thought that was sweet and romantic but the author ruined it by having the women say yes and then not meet him a couple days later at the motel to iron out details and talk things out. She basically tells him she will marry him and then blows him off. Then she starts looking for a new truck driver. What a bitch!

I love the assortment of stories. This book provided endless stories. Some had happy endings. Others were unique and perhaps twisted and others ran in the general range of naughtiness. Highly recommend it!

A series of enjoyable stories centered around the theme of outings and hotels.

An original collection of short fun erotic stories.

Heaven help me holy Hannah these were some seriously HAWT stories. The one in Hawaii wowzers but the birthday surprise for the guy who was on a business trip and his wife was too stuffy and thought he was too kinky but his friend and her best friend met his needs was just wow that’s all I can say wow.
Or the dating site guy at the bar where they weren’t going to speak sweet baby monkeys that was amazeballs.
this is a collection of stories that will have you panting and wanting more. -
Whew! These stories are hot! I'm not sure how I happened upon this collection of stories but they were all different yet interesting. I'm not usually one for short stories, as I enjoy the buildup of characters and plot lines but these were fast reads and enjoyable.

Very taboo and HOT. Each story was very unique and made me feel a bit dirty for "peeking" into their lives. I would have liked this series more if the stories were just a bit longer so that I could get to know the characters outside of the very explicit sex scenes. It at times felt like reading porn.

Boring as hell.
