And Connor has no idea how to stop her.
This time she's launching all-out war with an enormous army at her back. She's already demonstrated that she'll see magic destroyed before she lets Connor and his revolution survive.
Can the elements offer a potential solution? What price will they demand? Will their solution make things better or worse?
Connor alone can take the fight to the queen, but suicide charges never seem to work out.
Surrounded by his closest friends, they must risk it all in one final gamble.
Connor is gifted at breaking things.
But failure means breaking everything.
Blood of the Tallan (The Petralist #7) Reviews
-
Blood of the Tallan is the last book in the Petralist series and wow...just wow!
I do not know where to start without giving any spoilers away.
Connor's growth through the books has been remarkable, and in this one he is reaching full potential with his powers and at the same time be smart enough to use them well.
The interaction between the characters is well written, friendships are warm, or even reluctant, but in the end, friends stick together and take care of each other, even if it gets them in peril.
Queen Dreokt is an adversary, who is vengeful, mean, wicked, distrustful and plain abusive, but even her arc in the story is interesting. Very interesting are the choices she makes and she is still standing behind her believe that she is doing the right thing.
I will re-read this series, because there is so much going on that there is enough to rediscover! -
Full Series
A fun, intriguing and interest holding series from book 1 to book 7. I have enjoyed this read and will look forward to the next series.
