The entries are all fun, quick reads. Several of them leave with knowing there is more to the story, and this is just the beginning. All of them are acceptable for all readers. The contest is a great way for writers to get early publications and developing the skills to carry on with the career. It is more than just the authors selected. This is something that every person that entered, coached, and judges can look at and say they were a part of the experience.
This is also a wonderful way for new authors to see how others are getting works published.
