Overcoming fear
Katie come to Diamond Springs with her former mistress to help out in the orphanage and escape from Hank. She meets Kyle, who trains horses and he agrees to teach the children from the orphanage how to ride. Katie loves spending time with Kyle and eventually trusts him enough to tell him about Hank. Katie also finds excitement and purpose in her life when she discovers that she has a natural talent for teaching. This new talent gives her more confidence in herself. Excellent story! -
I love this second book in the series. I anticipated it would be about one of the sisters but was pleasantly surprised that it is about one of the former personal maids. I love reading the growth of this character.

I'm enjoying the story but some of the grammatical errors and inappropriate word choices are excruciating.
But kudos for the plots and execution! -

You should not judge the person by their past. Listen to both sides of the story. Give them a chance.
