Second issue has terrific back matter for deepening understanding of the context of the story

Curiously, whilst the first volume storyline grabbed my attention despite the art which I found a bit plain, the exact opposite happened with this second part: I spent a lot of time looking at the drawing and the clever use of colours, to the detriment of the plot. The two or three storylines resolutions I found confusing in the end, despite their dedicated colour range. But the art wins you over, with it's ever changing perspectives, scales and angles.

I would say this might be a better read once you have the whole story, rather than one piece. As a volume in and of itself, it feels incomplete.
