I'm just trying to find a way to honor the memory of the only person who ever cared about me, my Grandma Rose, when I walk into his tattoo parlor.

Maybe it’s the emotion of everything that’s happened this last week. Maybe it’s my subconscious crying out for help, that I need someone.

But not just anyone. Someone who can fill a role for me that I never thought I needed.

The man whose name I don’t even know. But what I do know is that he’s a no b.s. kinda guy, demonstrated by the way he carries himself and how he goes about his business.

And the moment he sets his eyes on me he goes from zero to sixty in no time at all.

He’s batshit crazy, at bunny boiling levels, and possessive to boot, and the scariest part is I’m right there with him.

But I’ve got debts that need clearing and I’m the only one who can fix them. Or so I think.

I’ve got a lot to learn, and he’s ready to teach me. But will I learn that love, at first sight, goes just as quickly as it comes, or can this experienced man show me that things can be different than the life I’ve lived up to this point?

There’s only one way to find out and that’s by jumping in headfirst. I just hope he’s there to catch me because I’m falling for him…fast.

My possessive daddy.

“Possessive” is the story of Poppy and Paul.

A well fleshed story between a tattoo artist on parole falling head over heels for his client. There is super hot lovemaking, DD/LG play, stalking, drama and extended epilogues mixed in with various kinks.

    I found it very enjoyable!

3 stars. A fun, ridiculous romp. Paul is a bit of a weirdo but I liked Poppy. I wish the dialogue wasn’t so cringe because these books could be so much better. I get that it’s all OTT but can they at least sound like humans? Also, this needed to be edited but it was still a fun time with all of its craziness.

  • ♥ WishfulMiss ♥

It’s already game over for me, put a ring on her finger and get her pregnant time.

From first sight, Paul sees Poppy and knows she’s the one and only for him. He isn’t shy about staking him claim or laying out his intentions. Of course, Poppy doesn’t immediately recognize the same, so their story is Paul going seriously OTT possessive on her, Poppy falling in lust with him but not convinced she’s ready to handle all that crazy and finally, them both being on the same page. This was definitely an entertaining read!

This was an over the top sexy read with a lot of crazy and outrageous scenarios but the writing was good and the plot flowed well. Both MCs were bold and unique but I did wish we got a bit more background for both Poppy and Paul but especially Paul. His character is as big as he is tattooed and dangerous but we only get a hint of what he’s all about and my curiosity was piqued.

Loved the ending and the epilogue was almost too sweet, haha. Not complaining though, it had everything that I like in an ending, a HEA, family life and babies!

Paul used to be a business man until he was framed by his partner and was sent to prison. Now he is out and has started a new tattoo place. His biggest goal was to get free from visiting his parole officer until a beautiful young girl walks into his shop right at closing time. The minute Paul saw Poppy he knew that she would have to be his. He wanted to keep her where only he could see how sexy and beautiful she was. When she panicked and ran from him, he was determined to find her but as luck would have it, he saw her the next day at the city courthouse. Paul had to check-in with his parole officer and Poppy was checking out her grandmother's will. Paul won't let her get away again.

Poppy was a young innocent girl who was brought up by her grandmother Rose. Now her grandmother is gone and Poppy wants to get a rose tattoo in memory of her. When she was brave enough to enter the tattoo shop, she was shocked with her reception. Paul the owner was all about her and acting like he would never let her go. Poppy was thrilled by the attention but she wanted to settle her old life before starting a new on with Paul.

Love Love Love LL books! I have read every book in the daddy series and grab her books they second they arrive on KU. Some are better than others but I think that’s just personal taste. I hate to give LL books anything less than 5* BUT… I’m not sure why this is a different series from the daddy one, because it’s written the exact same way including the daddy aspect. Even though these books basically follow the same story arc format each time, I usually enjoy the different characters & development. For some reason I’m not loving this series quite as much but it’s probably just personal taste, maybe I need a break from this genre or author for a bit? I feel like each book gets a little more rambling and little more preachy. The actual verbal dialogue feels more and more cringy with each book (especially when the heroine sometimes insists of being claimed right in front of the ‘villain’ who has usually been beaten and can’t move…I feel creeped out and would think the heroine would just want to get away, not get naked, lol). I also feel like the hero’s internal dialogue about what it means to be a man and daddy feels WAY to long and preachy and it feels like it gets LONGER with each book even though it’s pretty much the exact same spiel each time (‘a real man/ daddy does __ & ___ , where most men act like boys and don’t do this as well as I do, because I’m a REAL man…’). Yeah, we get it, that’s the whole premise of daddy kink, so maybe it’s just me & it’s time to take a break from the daddy books? Or maybe after 20+ daddy books, all using the exact same story arc format, it’s time for a change?

Possessive is the story of Paul and Poppy.

Insta love, young sassy virgin heroine, rebel dominant stalker hero, this man goes crazy if she isn’t with him and when she left him in the tattoo shop after their little getting of each other session and mind you they just met and he’s already going down on her and the same with her on him and he goes back to clean her up or something and she leaves cuz she doesn’t wanna be a burden? I actually loved hated the book at the start but it got 4 stars because of how possessive and jealous this man is and how he uses his Daddy name to the max UGH I WAS LETS JUST SAY TURNED ON AND SQUIRMING. Ok this may he over-exaggerated but it was hot, like the restaurant scene with her on his lap AHHH. Turns out he was helping the FBI on the doctor who treated her dead grandma and turns out the doctor wasn’t permitted to work in that state so they had to investigate for 6 months and when they finally had him he ran or he was dead I’m not sure but the part where he dressed up as a janitor and followed her was cool and when she was like trying to get him to calm down was the best part OOF. Anyways that same night he claims her and OH MY GOD ITS AMAZING. The next day they’re suddenly married OH MY GOD. Yh they have like 6 kids but yeh it was a good read.

    Solid 4.5/5

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
This is book two of A Possessive Man series it appears each book will read as a standalone however, why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Poppy’s grandmother passed away and she wants to get a tattoo in memory of her. Paul is a sexy as all get out extremely possessive man. The moment he heard Poppy speak he knew he had to get to know her on every level. The chemistry is instant and intense, the magnetic pull can’t be ignored but with all that going on with her mounting medical bills will she make the time or will she see Paul as a little creepy or can they have happiness?

Book two in the A Possessive Man series. This couple is something else. It is an age gap story so if you can't deal with them then might not want to read this but you should still give it a try since you never know till you try something new right. She's now an orphan since her grandmother passed and she wants to memorialize her. So off to a tattoo parlor for that. After this, it is time to deal with how to pay the bills of her late grandmother. He is the owner of the tattoo parlor and older than her. It is an insta love connection between these two. She isn't used to his type of mannerism so will she take to him? Can he show her that he can and will be there for her and make sure she is taken care of in all aspects of life?

I am just so dang confused about this one. It was so everywhere. I felt as if I was being dragged around with blinders on. I understand the primus of the story. Girl looses Gma, goes to get a tat, man falls instantly for her. She runs, he chases and kind of finds her. And then...…. a little of this and that . A cop, parole officer and FBI walk into a room. Then everything is all ok and yet we still don't know, WHO PAUL really is. And how he explains himself is half-ass. Then we roll the red carpet out (literally) and cookies, WTF. I gave up trying to understand and just finished the book.
I enjoyed book 1 book 2 was not in the same class as it.

Possessive, a part of A Possessive Man series, was about Paul, the owner of a tattoo parlor, and 18-year-old Poppy. (No last names were given, nor was the MMC's age given.)

This entire story was more than a little off-the-wall in every way. It went from zero to sixty in 0.0 seconds flat and never stopped, and not in a good way. It could have been considered a rom-com with all of the ridiculous things the author expected the reader to accept. However, it wasn't funny.

As ridiculous as it was, it wasn't so off-putting that it rankled this reader's nerves. I just rolled my eyes, finished the story, and wrote a review. It won't be a book I will give a second thought to once I stash it away...permanently. One star? Umm..well, okay, but nothing higher.

I thought that this was an awesome book. I loved Paul and Poppy! I loved the connection, chemistry, intense feelings, possessiveness, steam, love and wonderfully sweet HEA. Paul is exactly what Poppy needs in her life and luckily, Paul is more than willing to help her. These two have a couple of bumps in the road on the way to their HEA but it was so worth it. Caution: this book could melt your kindle! I can't wait to see what Ms. Lena has in store for us next. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Lena as an awesome author.

This is a short erotic romance with an older/younger theme. The story is well written and easy to read with two characters that are made for each other. This is the insta-love story of Possessive Paul and 18 years old orphan Poppy. They have a wonderful, intense chemistry and their love scenes are beautifully written and HOT!
I absolutely love the extended epilogues which gives an insight into their lives 7 and then 10 years later which rounds the story off beautifully.
Overall, I really enjoyed this novella!

Let me tell you this story rocked in all levels... drama, discovery, love and mega hotness from these characters. All I can say that it got my heart going with the way they connected and healed each other in so many levels. The chemistry is off the charts and just amazing. You are going to love this book as much as I do,

In the blurb we are told that Paul goes from zero to sixty, and boy does he, he’s the Wreck-It Ralph of all the possessive, protective and jealous daddies I have read so far, and I just loved all the things he does to keep Poppy safe, from the world and most of all from herself. Get this treat and immerse yourself for a couple of delicious hours in Paul and Poppy’s story!

    Paul is perfect.

OMG! Paul comes on so strong and obsessive and he is absolutely perfect. I loved how he just comes out and says what he thinks and feels and the way he protected his perfect Poppy and that jewelry he gave her was just right. In fact near everything about the story was perfect.

    Paul and Poppy

I really like this book. The characters had layers and there were a few surprising twists in the story. Paul is out of prison working at his new tattoo shop. The last thing he expects is to come face to face with the woman that will change his life forever. Highly recommended
