  Honestly almost DNF the book after the first few chapters due to rampant and unecessary fatphobia, but decided based on the quality of previous books in the series to finish it. Both protagonists mostly redeemed themselves of the poor first impression, but overall the book lost a star. Using body size to indicate how evil and gross the bad guys are is just lazy writing.

  The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Runaway Dragon Mates series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Freddie is sweet, kind to most, wants to live without her parent’s interference however, they have given an ultimatum marry who they pick or get out, so she decides to leave on her own. She loaded her car up with what little belongings she owned and drove till she gets to a town that calls to her. She goes to the bar after settling in and meets the one man who changes her life. Hardy is a sexy as all get out dragon shifter and goes to the bar to avoid being lonely, he wants to find his mate and settle down. Fate ensure they would meet at the bar, and they have an amazing night but Freddie panics kicking him out the very next morning not realizing he left her with a precious gift. After having the baby, she is experiencing post-partum issues and is sent to Dr. Hardy which he is happy about but also, have an issue with since he can’t have a relationship with a patient will it work out, will she tell him he has a son, will he be able to protect the two of them especially after being attacked prior, and can they find happiness?

  Freddie knew she was a wild child, but she didn't imagine her parents would try to tame her by arranging a marriage for her. Leaving her home was not easy to do, but a total fresh start was for the best. Fortunately, she had a trust fund her parents couldn't touch so she didn't need to find a job in order to support herself. When she meets a man in a bar that she finds interesting, she doesn't hesitate to invite him home with her. Not wanting a relationship at this point in her life, she forces herself to avoid any place she is likely to see Hardy again. When she finds out that their tryst has had unforeseen consequences, she decides not to look him up to inform him. She does not need his financial help and does not want to take a chance that he will reject her and the baby.
  
  Hardy liked Freddie but when she never returns to the bar where they had met, he reluctantly decides not to turn up on her doorstep. When she appears in his office with a baby and a referral from his ob-gyn friend for post-partum depression counseling, he is glad to see her again but determined to keep it professional between them. His dragon has other ideas.
  
  Lots more in this story as it continues the theme from the other stories in the series. Bad guys and danger will force Hardy and Freddie to defend themselves and their new family.

  This is the fourth book of this series. Well this is a very interesting story I really didn't like the heroine in the beginning, I heard a lot of saying against her parents but be honest,if in real life,you meet someone that tell you: they want to live with their parents, no study, no work and just party and have one night stands, you will not thinking that they are to great either. I think the parents were trying to shock her straight after all we don't know what they were thinking. so I'm side tracking. so the story start when Freddy's parents tired of her irresponsible ways put an ultimatum or she change her ways get a job and stop partying every night or they will make her marry ( I know that is what I said it was too much) of curse when she said no her father told her she could not live with them anymore. So she leave her house and went around till she settle an got herself a house, one of the nights that she was visiting the bar she meets Hardy have a one night stand and gets pregnant. Well I will not said much more but there is a lot of growing up, mystery and action so overall a well rounded story.

  After being told that she had to end her wild nights of parties and marry a family friends son, or lose her inheritance and must leave the house, Freddie packed her bags and grabbed her computer and left her family home.
  Hardy a psychologist just finished seeing his last patient of the day and headed for his favorite bar before heading home to his quiet house. In walked a beautiful woman with big green eyes sitting two bar stools away, and he offers her a drink. That when he learns she new in town and has been kick out of her family’s home for not marrying the shifter they picked out for her. After spending a few hours with Freddie, she invited him back to her apartment and had one night of romance which left her thinking she let the perfect man go. Now months later Freddie has made several and has never return to the bar we’re she met Hardy and yet she can not get him out of her mind, but then the flu hit her hard so hard she had to go see a doctor. What the doctor told her send her into shock, Freddie was pregnant with Hardy baby.

However, she ended up pregnant, deciding not to tell Hardy that he is a father. (She also didn’t know his last name.) But she is struggling and needs to deal with post-partum depression, never expecting that Hardy Westbrook will be her therapist! Will he figure out what it means that she needs such counseling, i.e. can he count 9 months off on his fingers? Will he figure out that HER son is HIS son and want to be a part of his child’s life (especially when Rory becomes ready to shift into a huge dragon and could really use his dad’s input)? In the meantime, will he protect Freddie and his son from the bad guys who are trying to kill him and would gladly use her to draw him into a trap?

After someone gets sick in Hardy's office, what happens? Who are Sam, Ace, and Chuck? How do they each fit into the story? After Sam's sudden appearance, where does he end up? Oh goodness, things got heated in this story!!! Wow! It was surprisig, yet anot, as to exactly what happened! I had to cheer quietly under my breath as I finished reading!

Freddy had no desire to follow in their footsteps. When her parents try to force her into an arranged marriage, she takes off.
  Dr. Hardy Westbrook held a practice in an office building with a problem no one can figure out. His friends try to get Hardy to relax and reach out for a relationship. He concentrates on his job too much. He finally meets a woman. She turns into more, but won’t return his feelings. Then the unexpected happens to bring the two together.

  A great book. This is the story of Hardy and Freddie and it is absolutely fantastic! Both are dragon shifters. Freddie has left home after her parents demanded to marry a man of their choice or leave. Hardy is a therapist in the same building as King Rutland and his friend. Hardy and Freddie meet in a bar and a cozy evening chat leads to more. Not ready for a relationship, Freddie doesn't even get Hardy's last name when he leaves.
  Months later it turns out that she is pregnant with Hardy's son. Freddie struggles to become a new mother and the doctor advises her to see a therapist, who also has a practice in the same building. It turns out to be Hardy. The author has told us a beautiful story that draws us into the lives of Hardy, Freddie and their son Rory and does not let go. The story will have you turning the pages with love, regret, danger and action.Read it, it will not disappoint you. I loved it and recommend it with pleasure.

  I was fortunate enough to get a copy of this from the author and I loved it, but then I genally love this author's works! I have not yet ready any of the preceeding books but tht does not detract from the story at all.
  This is about growing up and redemption after running away from parents who are overbearing and overly demanding to Freddie (Frederica). HArdy is initially a one noght stand for her but when she discovers that he is her therapist (and her baby's daddy) things become more complicated.
  
  A good tale that reads well and I plan on reading the previous in the series as soon as possible

  Freddie is a young 23 year old woman. She likes to party and have sex. But to much of that has finally gotten her parents feed up. They want their only child to settle down and get married to a dragon shifter.
  
  Hardy is a therapist. But not just that he is a dragon shifter. He has been watching his friends find love and have kids. He is kind of ready for the same.
  
  When these two dragons meet up. It is very steamy. They end up having sex (one night stand) but Freddie is not ready for a relationship. They both end up dealing with crazy men trying to kill them.
  
  The relationship between them is slowly becoming more. But the drama outside of their relationship is becoming crazy. But I like how it all comes together.

  This is the fourth book in this series, I've enjoyed them all and was happy when I was offered the chance to read this one about Hardy and Freddie. They met in a bar and shared a great night together, but she panicked and told him she needed space.
  
  He hoped she would come back to the bar and give him another chance but she didn't. Instead, the next time he meets her is when she's referred by his ob-gyn friend for post-partum depression counselling after giving birth to a baby he has no idea is his. He's happy to see her but is determined to keep their relationship professional but his dragon has other ideas.

He buys her a drink and introduces himself as Hardy. They have a one-night-stand that neither can forget. Ten months and a few weeks later they meet again when Freddie goes to see a Psychologist for her postpartum depression. The doctor is Hardy. This story is full of action-packed scenes, romance, and steam plus ends in a HEA. Highly recommended.

  Freddie is a 23 year old wild child she lives with her rich parents they want her to stop partying and marry a man of their choosing they told her that she can marry or leave the house so Freddie packs her stuff and leaves. Hardy is a psychologist he’s tired of the one night stands he wants to settle down so when he goes to a bar to meet up with an old friend he meets Freddie they have a one night stand but so much more comes from their one night but I will let you find the rest out for yourself. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

  This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Alpha Dragon's One Night Mate by Serena Meadows. I really enjoyed Freddie and Hardy's story. This fourth addition to the Runaway Dragon Mates is a fast paced, action packed read. A one-night stand turns into more than just fun. Lots of action, a little drama, a dash of humor and a healthy dose of hot character chemistry make this read hard to put down. There is a small setup for the next book in the series, Dragon's Runaway Surrogate. This is a Mature Readers Only Read.

  I really enjoyed reading the story about Freddie and how she escaped and arrange marriage that her parents wanted, she had her trust account but she could live on so she didn’t need to depend on her parents. She had a one night stand which resulted in a baby and then once the baby was born she was having trouble with her emotions until she met her counsellor. She fell in love with him and everything was great again in Freddie’s life.

  OH mercy, this one will have your mouth dropping for sure. One-night stand ends in baby nine months later. Now she is in need of therapy. But the problem is he is the baby's daddy. Now, what does she do? They are both dragon shifters. She can't go to her parents for help as see left in avoidance of an arranged marriage.   I enjoyed reading this book! I don't know why, but I loved Freddie! Before I knew who she was, I thought she was badass! I still think she was brave and strong for what she went through! I liked Harvey as well! I think they made a good couple! The chemistry between them was cool! I think everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend this series!

  He's a shrink that is really starting to wonder if he will ever find what his friend have, a mate and kids. He makes an observation that may end up getting him killed.

  I liked the humorous aspects to this story. There are two dragons that hook up in a one night stand. Neither knows what the other is, they presume human. The male Hardy took a liking to the female Freddie. However Freddie is adamant that it’s only for one night. They go their separate ways but a few months later Freddie is pregnant. Read On!
