Door to Door Quilts (Door County Quilts, #2) Reviews

Slightly better than the first book. I’m kind of hooked on the characters even though I’m not crazy about the writing. However, since this book did not end with a cliffhanger, I think I’ll stop reading the series. The upcoming books in the series don’t interest me enough to invest the time.

Boy, did I need a light novel after my last book? This series moves along quickly, has many characters I love, and a few that need a kick in the pants. I am looking forward to the next one in the series.

For folks who have visited Fish Creek, WI & Door County, AND love quilts and painting. I've done these things, and I'm enjoying this series, this being book #2. It's an easy, relaxing read and I enjoy the characters.
"Claire Stewart is back with brand new adventures in her little hometown of Fish Creek in Door County, Wisconsin. As Claire continues to bloom as a quilt artist and painter, she finds herself disappointed with the prestigious quilt club she was privileged to join. She and her best friend Cher team up to confront the Town Board with one of Claire’s grand ideas, hoping to bring quilts to the forefront in Door County. Meanwhile, the man with the red scarf begins to play a stronger role in Claire’s life as harassment continues from Austen, her former lover." -
I was happy to read this second book in a new series about quilts in Door County, WI. I loved the setting and the characters. I don't quilt but love to read about quilts, quilters, and the rich fabric they use. Claire is has a new endeavor she's working on which causes some controversy. A new romances is promising, but will it be shipwrecked by other factors? This can be read as a stand alone; however reading the first book is recommended to give readers more context. Thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for the early read.

This book picked right up where the first one left off. You must read the first one in the series. There is a third book in this series. I enjoyed it. Like the first one, it reminds me of a Hallmark movie... not a lot of drama, but makes you feel good. I like the characters in the story. Being an avid quilter, I am enjoying the series. The chapters are very short..3 or 4 pages long, which makes it easy to keep reading, since I would tell myself "I will just read this next chapter..." then keep doing that!

This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a stand alone.
I like cozy mystery featuring quilters and this was quite good.
I like the relatable and fleshed characters, the setting and the mystery kept me guessing.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine -
I cannot explain why I like these books, they are not my normal read but the characters are real and do real things. There was a giant outbreak of “winking” in this book that I could have done without though.

Found a new series to love! I want to road trio to Washington Island!
-
Fun new series too read with 2 of my favorite things, quilting and Door County
-
Just ok for me
Seemed the book was more about the quilt show than the characters.
Good book but not really to my taste. -
I am so enjoying this series.
-
I love reading books set in places that I also love.

Even though this book #2 , the books can stand alone. Not much details or background was lost by not having read book #1. Enjoyable read.
