This is an exhaustive deep dive into the games of Sonic the Hedghog. Every level is examined and every enemy is mentioned. It is also a travelogue of the downfall of a character overused in ever possible scenario to the point of oversaturation in the game market and to the audience eventually becoming tired of him. When I started this book I was excited to learn more about Sonic, by the time I finished it I just didn't care about him or his friends anymore.
