ღ Wow I can’t believe; the next generation Henchmen are here…Yeah, I’m still in shock

    description

Malcolm is Wolf and Janie's son; the man has bit of both his parents in him… Malcolm inherited mixed traits from his parents. he had his father's more laidback acceptance of things. But he had his mother's shorter temper, her impulsivity when he thought there was some wrongdoing going on. Then, of course, there was his father’s nearly animalistic violent streak when he thought something or someone was threatening someone who was important to him.

Believe or not Malcolm was just a gentle giant with heart of gold… As you read Malcolm’s story you, we why I fell in love with him

There was also fact that Malcolm so much like his father, nest in the woods where the world is quiet in cabin he billed himself

Holly, five months ago, she got a phone call that changed the trajectory of her entire life. I could list all the bad things that has happen to this sweet and caring woman, but I’ll leave that for you to find out by yourself when you stop to enjoy this amazing read

    description

The new girls club was collection of all of the good and bad from the OG’S…. but you’ll see how like the brother’s stick together so do the females, and how fierce they can be

I’m Very intrigued to see where JG takes us with the the possibility to new chapter – (Shady Valley)

I’m so in love with Dezi and finding out more about his past… oh and can’t forget to mention how I love that we still get to see the OGs on the regular basis. It's fun to see the next generation interact and work with their parents, that JG had not just push them out of The next generation Henchmen books

You will grow to love this unbelievable family ties as much I did, you’ll also see how amazing & heartwarming they can be… most of all, you’ll see, once they consider you family it’s for life! There is incredible connections and loyalty between the young bikers, who learned from their fathers and follow their legacy. One of the many things that, I find so funny is how they fight like 5-year-old kids on drop of a dime…….. I look forward to where JG is going to take us next in this series

Overall, you know that JG will give us complex characters, fantastic back stories & she’ll give a exciting & truly satisfying story

I devoured this book! I’m loving this second generation series of the beloved Henchmen I have fallen in love with! Their kids are just as badass and sexy as the parents!!! Totally sold on this series!👍💘

  • Brianna

    Well where do I start?
I was smiling like a madwoman and laughing within the first 3 pages. This next generation of the Henchmen family are nothing if not incredibly exciting and hilarious. JG has set us up for an amazing new crew and I can't wait to learn more about each and every one of them.
Malcom is just a YUMTASTIC younger version of his parents and Holly is the sweetest little thing. The ending had me in happy tears.
JG, you've done it again. Though, that's to be expected at this point 💜

Malcolm was every bit as wonderful as I had expected him to be coming from such awesome parents as Janie and Wolf. He was caring, protective, Badass and sexy as sin. Is it blasphemy that I adored Malcolm just as much as I did his Papa in Wolf's story?

I thought so, but I couldn't help myself. I was totally smitten.

And Holly! Holly was such a sweetheart. She worked her fingers to the bone trying to make ends meet on top of taking care of her brother full time. And despite how brutal her days were, she was always kind and caring towards everyone she encountered.

I loved everything about this story: The mystery , the romance and the steaminess between Malcolm and Holly, and lastly the delicious HEA. It was all perfection.

"She didn't have to thank me. I would do anything that woman needed me to do."

I could not have asked for a better story for Malcom, omg allllll the swoony feels for this larger than life son of Wolf!!

Holly is the sweetest thing, pretty as a picture, and perfection for the ultra quiet Wolf. I knew he was going to need some kind of damsel in distress situation to trip his trigger, and Holly's issues certainly did that. I absolutely loved her personality, and that even when she was pushed down as far as she could get, she never stopped getting back up!

Malcom is the kind of guy the Henchmen never expect to get in trouble, make waves, etc, he's always picking up after those around him, so when he goes a little ballistic protecting Holly I think it came as a big surprise to everyone. Y'all I loved him so much!

I love this book so, SO MUCH! My heart tripped over itself at that first kiss, it was absolutely beautiful, the buildup was everything!! Fallon, Dezi, Zaddy, and Brooks continue to build on this new 2nd gen series giving them the same breadth and depth as the OG Henchmen, and holy hot damn the sexiness - where do Dezi's shirts keep disappearing off to? And the girls club is joyous, raucous, and raunchy - I love the support, and humor, offered up by Billie, Hope, and Willa!!

10 stars for this fast paced, sugar sweet, sexy as sin treat from Jessica Gadziala, I absolutely adored Malcom, and all the rest!!

Likes this one a bit more than the previous one. Malcolm was all kinds of awesome but I still like my heroines a bit more badass... She was okay though... I didn't dislike her.. I just think Danny, the heroine from the next book, is more my style :p

    3,5 stars

    This book is everything.

For those not sure... Malcolm is Wolf and Janie's son.

Malcolm is sweet romance, unbreakable family bonds and real heartfelt emotion that completely consumed me as a reader. These characters truly breathe life into the story and take you on journey that will leave you feeling so satisfied but also so sad to see it end.

Malcolm is the perfect blend of his mom and dad. He loves his nest in the woods where the world is quite. He's gentle, sweet and empathetic to others but he has a quick switch and a fierce temper when pushed too far. His protectiveness and his vulnerability are some of the many qualities that make him so fucking sweet I can't even. I loved him.

Holly is pure goodness. She's kind, gentle and hard working. She's strong but the gentle unwavering kind. Her life has been so tough and yet she still continued to push through every barrier and get up and do the things that needed to be done. Honestly the woman is a saint and I mean that in every good sense. There just wasn't one unlikable quality to her.

Their journey is so endearing. They both have this gentle soul vibe that felt so sweet. So right for them together. The connection was slow burning but filled with a delicious tension and sweet vulnerability. They genuinely fit together perfectly. And when things really get going.. the chemistry is fire!!. Lord these two have me feeling all the feels. The overprotective alpha and the sweet baker heroine.

The characters really bring this story to life. So many personalities with so much to give. This crazy dysfunctional family vibe the Henchmen and their forever growing brood have honestly make me love them so much harder!. The banter and bickering, the protectiveness.. the love between them all. It's palpable through the pages.

Malcolm and Holly's story has a little of everything but I'd say it's very character driven. It's not super action packed and theres no unnecessary drama. It's more focused on the relationships between all the characters and the different dynamics they play in each others lives and in the club. It's sweet and funny with a little suspense and a smidge of action. We get to visit a tonne of familiar much loved faces and also meet a few cheeky chaps along the way that will have you all kinds of curious and wanting more. As a hole this story a seamless. The character driven and plot progression is spot on and is paced perfectly. I was locked in from page one completely consumed in this world.

Now I'm sad as fuck because I really didn't want it to end. Despite the few moments of rough and tough this book is an easy read and one that made me smile so hard me cheeks hurt.

    Now bring on the next.

P.s ... I'm claiming Dezi and Slash. And before I get called a greedy hoe for wanting them both.. I don't care. They're mine. 🤣

  • Cindy

What a mighty good man, the son of Wolf and Janie. Malcolm was some of what I expected and yet a whole lot more. He's the man all his crazy female cousins trust to be their designated driver and confidant. A loyal brother to his MC. A man like his father who will not stand by and let a woman be harmed. His woman was not who I expected either but you couldn't help but immediately feel empathy for Holly and all that she's gone through. You could see why Malcolm was immediately drawn to her.

This second generation of the Henchmen stories are as good as their parents stories. The daughters are just as tough, crazy and humorous as their mothers were. And the new prospects – there is always one that just commands your attention from their first introduction. I'm talking about you Dezi..

  • Lisa

I loved Malcolm and Holly together. I'm happy that Holly got herself an extended family and friends. Malcolm is just a great guy. I want to hang with all these folks. I am really interested in finding out about the secondary characters. First Dezi because he is a hoot and you just know there is a good story there. Cary because he seems like a solid guy that I would love to explore. Then you have the possibility of a CA chapter and all that entails.

  • Melisa

So good I could not put it down. Holly and Malcolm so hot! This book opened the door to so many other characters that I can not wait to see who’s story is next.

  • Krystyn

Like father, like son..... but with a little mom tossed in for Goodluck!

The new generation is an mix of kids from our favorite people around Navesink Bank, this book is about Wolf and Janie's son Malcolm. I smiled so much reading this book, my face hurts!

We start the book with some of the biker cousins together and IT. IS. AMAZING! Being someone who has a wide variety of gathered family, this touches my soul. The dynamic between them all is hilarious. You don't even have had to read the older generation to enjoy but you'd be crazy and missing out in so much!

I know Malc would need himself and sweet girl, very opposite of his mom and she can even bake/cook! Insert Holly. Malc gets to be her hero and shows us he was raised right. I don't think he could have been written any better. It made me so excited for what is to come with this next gen of Henchmen puppies.

Bonus: we meet a couple new characters that are melting those lady bits!!!! Plus BILLIE! She is just like her mama, very needed.

  • Deborah

This one was all kinds of sweet. I loved Malcolm and I liked Holly for him.

But I can’t wait for Fallon and Danny’s book. Which is where I’m heading now….

Looks like Jessica Gadziala went back to her writing roots with MALCOLM and I loved it! Edgy, dark, sexy and filled with inner turmoil and need, once again I could feel the outer shells of her characters soften just a bit, feel their fear of being hurt and the desire to protect another at all cost. Add the motorcycle club loyalty, the air of yes, they may ride on the wrong side of the law, but they are better humans than they get credit for.

One again, this author had me from page one and I held tight until that very last word, at which point, I may have pouted just a little. Okay, it MAY have been a slight temper tantrum of denial that I had finished another incredible tale by Jessica Gadziala!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Jessica Gadziala! This is my honest and voluntary review.

The first thought that I had after reading this book was:
If I read only Jessica's books till the end of my life, I would be a very happy reader.

This book makes all the wonderful warm feelings flow through me and  left me with a smile on my face 🥰

I love Malcolm and all the amazing new characters and their antics.
It's amazing to meet the "old generation" in this story again.
The Henchmen MC series is one of my all favorites and I've a feeling the next generation bikers series will be a really exciting adventure and one of my favorites too.

This book has so many emotions, heartbreaking feelings and an unique humor that makes the story addictive and a page-turner.
I cried and laughed with Holly.
I was swooning over Malcolm's sweet and protective behavior.
I laughed out loud at the hilarious things that came from Dezi and can't wait to read his book.

I love this unbelievable family ties, that are so amazing, heartwarming and beautiful.
This incredible connection and loyalty between the young bikers, who learned from their fathers and follow their legacy.

What they definitely learned very well, is to respect women (or sometimes fear them 🤭) and how to romance them without ever trying.

I can't give you more without spoiling the story, let me explain this book this way:
This is one of those books that will leave you smiling and completely satisfied after reading it as a romance lover 😍

    5 Next Generation Stars

Malcom is the second book in the Henchmen MC: Next Generation series by Jessica Gadziala. For those who don't know, Malcolm is Wolf and Janie's son, he is everything you expect from Wolf's son. Kind, caring and over protective of the people he loves. He was so likeable and perfect for Holly.

Holly hasn't had the best of times of late, caring for her brother after a terrible motorbike accident that leaves him badly injured. Not only does she has to give up her life but her dream job as a baker to work in a diner near where her brother lives. The one thing that keeps her going is that this is not forever, oh and the tall, dark stranger that comes in regularly!

This was such a good story and I ate it all up, like all of Jessica's leading ladies Holly is strong and determined to do it all. We get a lot of the newer generation in this book but also some snippets of the older ones too. I could have done with more Janie but sure listen that's just me! Her secondary characters make her stories so good and I love everyone that I came across in Malcolm's book, we also meet new prospects Dezi, Carey and Rowe. I'm soooo looking forward to Dezi's story and hope we don't have to long to wait. Overall a great read that I recommend you pick up.

JG the author who lives alpha males, badass heroines, great storylines, Happy endings and epic loves. Now we have the son of Wolf and JStorm a book I enjoyed and will probably reread as I loved Wolf and Janie’s story. As parents they are great and their son Malcolm reflects that. Isn’t our heroine Holly lucky to have caught his eye? I would resoundingly say, Yes!!

Holly is one of the softer heroines JG has written there have been a few of them something that isn’t that bad because the softer ones are loyal, loving and attract the entire Henchmen family....and she bakes. You can always win a man over with food. It is a typical, reliable happy read from one of my favorite authors 🙃

  • Mrs Jayne Rushton

    Oh Malcolm!

What a great read this was.

While not as overly possessive as his dad, he certainly has the Henchman alpha way about him.

The supporting characters were so good and I cant wait to see them come into their own. Please tell me Shep will eventually recover enough to get a cut!!!

This, along with the Professionals, is still my favourite series by this author.

  • Trish R. Ali

I am back in NBU and I am one very happy momma. Malcolm is everything I want him to be as a grown man, he is the perfect combination of his parents. I'm super happy that JG gave Malcolm the perfect other half. Holly is a darling, such a sweetheart and loyal down to the bones. Having very little knowledge of the MC 1% life, she struggled a little (just a little) to understand the life but she was all in because she is all in with Malcolm.

JG introduced us to really intriguing new characters in this book and I'm looking forward to be reading their story. Everyone's in love with Dezi, I'm the same but I want Zaddy .... delicious Zaddy (yummy) and I hope it's an age-gap romance *prays*

The 2nd generation is a hoot, even more so than the last. The apples don't fall far from the trees but they have their own bite and personality. I so love NBU, JG can write about nothing but NBU for the rest of her writing days (make it a VERY LONG ONE) and I still be one very happy momma.

Impatiently waiting for the next book.

Everytime I read a Gadziala book, when I end it, I want more.

I simply adore her writing. It's simple and on point, it gives me that sensation of home, ya know?

Some miss the mark, but more times than not I get a nice story out of it. I really enjoyed this book, for me the side characters shined more.

Don't get me wrong I liked Malcolm and Holly's story, they're both sweet together and the plot was on point.

Bu the side kicks were really what made it shine for me. Like I think everybody wants Dezi's story, he's seems like a fun time.

And Billie? Peyton is my fave character of the whole Henchmen series, I just love her to death. So obviously that her child would get my attention. I'm dying of curiosity.

And Shep? I hope somewhere along the lines we get to see him get his "honey who'll love his fat rolls" too!

I'm not even talking about the brief mention of Slash in this book. Who doesn't love a scarred hero?

So yeah, this one was a gem!

  • hopelesslyinlovewith_books

Jessica Gadziala totally rocks as a writer! Like she is killing it! This book is another great book, crazy and sweet! Malcolm is enormous like his dad Wolf. He’s also quiet guy like his dad. But don’t f*ck with his family or his temper takes over. He’s basically a gentle giant until you mess with him and what’s his. Holly is a waitress at a crappy diner that Malcolm frequents just to see her. They are both pretty shy people but boy do sparks end up flying! Total steam fest once they get it together! And DEZI!!!! I need a book for him! He was cracking me up!

This book is the last book on the reading order Jessica has in her website. I’ve read through all 50 something and here I am still asking for more! This universe is simply amazing!

This was an ok and quick read. I didn't love Malcolm anywhere as much as I loved Wolf, but I guess it isn't fair to compare them. *hides face*
