Will their secrets be too much, or exactly what the other needs?

Larson knows two things: Doms think he’s too big to be a little, and he’ll never find a Daddy. He buries himself in work at the firehouse, the homes he remodels, and creating stunning woodwork, all while telling himself that he’s happy. Everything he’s been certain of changes when he spots a new moderator at DASH wearing a lace bodysuit.

Moving back to Nashville, Canyon doesn’t expect a bustling gay scene. All he wants is a quiet place to live and time to himself. When an old friend reaches out with a request, he finds himself at DASH—his friend’s gay club— and being drawn to a blushing little across the room.

Quiet life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and Canyon quickly finds himself in need of a hobby. But what happens when his new hobby leads him directly to Larson’s house? Making eyes with someone across a club is a lot different than discussing their interests in person.

When Canyon’s offer to take Larson to DASH forces them to talk about their secrets, will it all be too much? Can the tattooed Dom with piercings and a love of lace be the Daddy the tall, muscled little needs?

Secrets is the much anticipated fourth book of the Undisclosed series. This 95k word novel contains a Dom who wears panties, a towering little, lots of puns, and friends and family who show up at the most unexpected times.

So happy to see Larson happy.

I was expecting much more from this...

This was such a meet cute, but the story seemed to lag in the middle, with random information crammed in to fill the pages. At one point I looked to check if the story was done, only to get disappointed.

A reread can make ones thoughts change on a book, dont cha think?

Ok, I dont know if it is because I am re reading all the Carly books one big chunk, but man this one made a heck of a lot more sense this time. I think that if you miss out on even one title or have not read it recently, then the million and one people that show up in here makes it harder to understand.

I loved Larson. I still have a hard time picturing what he looks like. Canyon I had no issues picturing but Larson just does not come together for me. I did love this story though, enough to bump up the rating to 5 stars.

    Well...

I was sort of underwhelmed with Larson's book after looking forward to it for so long. I didn't feel the connection with Canyon at all unlike all of the previous books in this series. It did make me miss the others that we have gotten to know though.

I really liked this one. I've been waiting for Larsen's book.

Larsen has pulled on my heart strings for this whole series. It made me sad that he had such a hard time opening up to others. I get it. The things that have been said to him for so many years are hard to get over. I was happy when he opened up to Canyon.

Canyon was pretty amazing too. He really has a great heart. I love how he researched and talked with people trying to make sure he could be what he needed to be for Larsen.

Now, here's what I didn't like. There are some discrepancies in these books. When you read this one, Nathan and Elliot are together. However, they get together in a different series,
Johnson Family Rules. And Nathan's book is the second book. But if you read the 1st book, which is Zander's book, which you also need to read to fully understand this book, the author has James and Dexter married!!! Um, they are dating in this book.

Not to mention, I'm still frustrated that all these books are interlinked in some sort of fashion, but there isn't an order to read them in. I hate reading a book, to then have another book spoiled. That happened when I got into this one, because by chapter 3, I realized that Nathan and Elliot were together, but yet he was single in his series, so I had to stop this one and go back to that series, to get his full story before I could continue with this one.

I've been reading Carly since her debut novel At Home. I've loved getting to know her characters in the world she's built in Tennessee. I'm one, of many, who have been begging for Larson's story since we first met him. I have to say that this is the best book she's written to date.

If you aren't a fan of age play, this isn't the book for you. I absolutely adore age play and I love the way Carly conveys this kink in her books.

I loved getting to know Larson on a deeper level. I love how his friends and family realize just how much he had hidden of himself and how they accepted him with open arms.

I think the prologue about Canyon gave us good head start on learning about him and how he'd fit in to the story. I love that he knew of Larson when he was younger and had a relationship with Larson's dad. The tie in with the past and present was really good.

It's all really good. I honestly don't have anything negative to say. I do want Larson and his friends to meet Dare for a playdate. I think it would be fun to get all the littles together!

I know this will be one that will be re-read over and over again. Thank you Carly for writing such a beautiful story for Larson. It was everything I'd hoped it would be!

I did receive an ARC for this book, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Still my fav of the series. This one and next are just so good. I live for books that challenge body stereotypes.

    Original review
Definitely my favorite of the series, I just loved Larson so much from the very first book and had been anxiously awaiting him getting his own story. the age play in this one is done extremely well and I loved seeing the whole group of friends together. I also really just loved Larson and Canyon as MCs.

This series as a whole is exceptional and I think a part of why I enjoyed them so much is because they're all decently long, 300-400 pages and it gives enough space to have some build up and character development and just plot thats more than just sex.

    highly recommend.

  • Barb ~rede-2-read~

My favorite book of this series! This one has a hot, silver fox Daddy, who's a retired millionaire and his kink, other than Daddy kink, is wearing lacy undergarments--camisole and underwear. Those who know me know Manties are my kryptonite and couple that with a silver fox who is a Daddy and this book had the potential to be amazing. And it was! Because the "Little" who's been waiting all his life for his dream Daddy is none other than Larsen, the six foot six hunk of gorgeous and sweet fireman we've met in previous stories.

Larsen deserved the best Daddy ever, and he found him in Canyon. Or should I say Canyon found Larsen. Either way, this was a match made in book heaven.

If you are into Daddy/Little/ABDL stories, this one fills the kinky hole in one's soul. :D

After reading Zander’s story in the Johnson Family Rules series, I fell in love with Zander’s brother Larson. I just had to read Larson’s HEA next. And I’m so happy I found it! Was not disappointed with Larson finding his daddy in Canyon and his new best bud in Marley the dog. Great read!

This book is about 150 pages too long as there is plenty of extensive paragraphs, jumbled inbetween dialogues, that add nothing to the story. Also, the author's penchant to tell, not show, worsens the pace.

I'm mostly disappointed after finishing the book. Carly Marie is my to-go author is I want delicious daddy kink AND age play too, but it's now the second book in a row I didn't liked as much as the other books by her.

It's a sweet romance book with said daddy kink and age-play too, but my biggest problem is the slow burn! The book is too long and the characters are too slow to do anything to get the story flow. I said it earlier but now it's true again; skip to the 50% and you won't miss anything from the story.

The characters were unique, that's true, and I still love the whole setting of Carly's world, everyone knows everyone and all the books and characters are somehow connected, so no matter what book you pick up, there is someone you'll know from other books.

The kink is still good and Carly's style is great, but it's just too slow and unreasonably long. It's not a bad book, I read it from start to finish, but nothing was really happening on the pages, no romance, no emotions.

4.5* (Zander annoying me takes off 1/2 star) Okay, I've been waiting for Larson's story since he's been lurking around the edges for a few books and no one really seemed to know much about him, including his friends. He's a 6 foot 5, 250 lb, 40 year old (more or less) little. Doms don't want that and he's faced his share of rejection over the years but hides it, using his brother as an occasional caretaker to relieve some stress. Finally he goes to the club on littles night knowing his friends who are little will see him and it's his way of coming out. He sees a new dom there wearing a lace body suit and is intrigued and vice-versa. Canyon moved to SF years ago and started up a business, but not loving it he retired and moved home. He's also a big guy so not put off by Larson, but he's never been a Daddy to a little before so is unsure what that means. Also he's been rejected for wanting to wear lacy undies by subs who want a "manly" dom.

There's not a lot of angst here. No relationship drama really, just them both figuring out how they fit, Canyon learning a bit about being a Daddy and the bigger part is Larson becoming himself. Revealing to his friends who he really is and figuring out what to do with his life given he's been hating his fire fighter job for the last while. He plays everything so close to the chest, he's been flipping houses for years in his spare time and his friends of 20 years were totally clueless to it because he never tells them anything. Canyon's hippy dippy parents obsessed with mushrooms and naked yoga were funny and his absolute mortification anytime he had to deal with them. But they were good people just odd.

I was a bit annoyed with Zander. He kept almost holding Larson back from moving forward with his life. I get he wanted to protect him after seeing him get hurt in the past but you can't just lock him up in a box and let him stagnate. He was ready to tell his friends, date Canyon, and to try and stop that was unfair of him. He was never my favourite in the family anyway.

So I think Larson got his HEA that he deserved and I was pleased to see him more open and also if you've read the other books you get to see the guys from other stories. On the whole I enjoyed this a great deal but you really should read the first books to understand who his friends are because they are around a fair bit.

This is the fourth book in the series, each book focuses on a new couple and can be read as a standalone, but really, it’s way more fun to read them in order.
This book tells us Larson and Canyon’s story and it was one of my most anticipated books of the year. I was intrigued by Larson since book one and I couldn’t wait to read about him.
Larson is a fireman; he loves remodeling houses and creating woodwork. He’s a tall muscular man and for years all he’s heard is that his desires don’t match with his body type. He’s been treated so horribly by men that he’s closed off. Even his best friends don’t know his real self.
Canyon is a retired CEO. He’s been working so hard for twenty years that he barely had any time for himself. He decides to retire and moves back to Nashville and that’s where he meets Larson.
Larson is my favorite character in the series and I felt really protective of him. I wanted his significant other to be perfect for him. I wanted him to help Larson realize that he is perfect just the way he is and take care of his broken heart. And Canyon was his perfect match. It was absolutely wonderful to see them grow closer and their relationship to evolve and grow. They just warmed my heart and made me melt.
One of the things I adore in the author’s books is the family themes. Larson’s family is unique and entertaining and they love him fiercely (protective big brother Zander was awesome!). And Canyon’s parents are also fun and really supportive. And then we have Larson’s friend’s, his found family, who really stepped up for him in this book.
This book was all I could hope for and then even more! I couldn’t put it down and at the same time I didn’t want it to end, I already miss Larson and Canyon and want to reread it. It was sweet and funny and the chemistry between Larson and Canyon was stunning! Their happily ever after just made so very happy. I loved every word. And one more thing, I really really liked the surprise cameo in the epilogue.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest review

This book was another of my favorites in the Undisclosed series. In this story you meet a guy named Larson. He knows two things : DOMS think that he’s too big to be a little and that he’ll never find a Daddy.

Larson buries himself in work at the firehouse and creating stunning woodwork. He tells himself that he’s happy until he meets Canyon.

Canyon is a guy who has run a successful business. He decides to move back to Nashville. A friend reaches out to him with a request. He finds himself at DASH his friend’s Gay BDSM club. He finds himself drawn to a blushing little across the room. Larson sees Canyon and is attracted to him. Larson doesn’t think that a DOM will want a little like him. When Larson and Canyon meet they find that they are great together as Little and Daddy. I liked how Canyon was with Larson. Larson was able to be himself as a Little with Canyon when others rejected him. I liked reading this book from start to finish.

    Johnson Family Series Overlap Issue

I liked the book but was frustrated that this series intertwines with the Johnson Family series mid stream. I had started on the Johnson Family series. I got to book 3 and found that Lars had a boyfriend. That was very confusing because he didn’t have a boyfriend in book 2 in the Johnson Family series. It took me some searching to find out that Larson’s story was actually in this separate series. I understand using a link character to tie a series into a spin-off but it’s challenging for readers to follow multiple series that are being written simultaneously with interwoven story lines and characters. I did come find this and read this book because I wanted Larson’s story, but the character overlap could have been done more smoothly.

Good story. Good characters. Just frustrated on how the series were handled in terms of publication / timing.

    Simply Amazing 💞💞

Oh Wow.... Absolutely Brilliant couldn't put this down been waiting for this and Carly Marie doesn't disappoint, Larson & Canyon are amazing together the connection is instant and truly beautiful despite Larson doubts having always been told he's too big to be a little so he's been hiding it from family and friends accept for his older brother Zander who's very protective of him, covering it up with his work as a fireman what's very stressful job and his love off woodwork. Canyon sees straight away that he needs help relaxing and enjoy being the beautiful boy he is inside and out what an amazing daddy he his got piercings & loves lingerie too what a bonus these two help each other become what they are meant to be and show there friends and family the simply amazing daddy and his little bit... So cute.... Recommend so much you'll love it. 💖💖

  • Angel

Larson had me intrigued since the first time he is mentioned...a big quiet shy guy who hangs out with Doms. And with every book in this world, a little hint is given about him, making me more intrigued. And finally we get his story and I am happy to say I was not disappointed!! Larson and Canyon are perfect. They had me cracking up and making my heart melt for them. I wanted to cuddle Larson and make all his stress go away. I'm glad Canyon saw beyond Larson's size and stepped in to be the Daddy Larson needed. A Daddy with a sexy secret....HOT. Ms Marie just keeps getting me more and more addicted with every book. I need more of them. This book can be read as a stand alone but characters from all her books are connected in some great way. It is definitely worth reading all of them, they are all awesome.

  • Jeanette Waters

I had really enjoyed the first two books in the Johnson Family series and couldn't wait for the third, hoping it would be Larson's story. It was a very happy surprise to find it in the Undisclosed series. I love how Carly Marie has blended her Finding Home, Johnson Family and Undisclosed series(s). Makes for great reading fun.
Larson isn't your typical Little. He's tall, muscular. Great for a firefighter, but difficult for his self esteem when Daddy after Daddy rejects him. At first glance. Canyon has been a Dom his entire adult life, but never a Daddy. When he sees Larson at a Little's night, his interest is sparked. Complicating his attraction is the fact that Larson is the son of the couple who guided him through learning to be a Dom.
Canyon is warned off. By Larson's brother and father. It's a great story. Glad he didn't listen.

  • Tia Bishop

    Ohh my little bit ♡

I have waited for Larson to have his story told since the first Undisclosed book! And the wait was totally worth it! I laughed, I teared up and I was giddy ! I love loved loved every single character and I can't wait for the next book!

Larson and Canyon.. oh my! I love their entire dynamic! I don't normally like an inexperienced Daddy/Dom type of plot HOWEVER for some authors it just works and this was no exception! How honest they were and just let it all come naturally was beautiful!

If you haven't started this series! You need to! Meet all of Larson friends and don't forget the Johnson family!

Definitely can't recommend this book, this entire series enough!

  • dirtydewey

    5 stars…
Yesss! Larson Larson Larson! Read a lot of books to finally see his story and I was thankfully not disappointed! Canyon is a fucking G. Who doesn’t want a massive scary looking daddy with lace and money flowing from every pore? Amazing.

I liked the woodworking thing, loved how much Canyon was willing to learn, grow, and care for Larson. This does have diapers in it (not a ton IMO and I don’t think he actually uses them) but something to keep in mind if that’s not your thing.

We love daddy kink and age play in this house and I’m excited as fuck to read the next in the series because Dean had sounded dreamy since book 1.

3/5 on spice. 3/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. Too much to read and not enough time in the year to squeeze it all in 😵‍💫

  • Ali

Another absolutely wonderful story. I have been waiting for Larson to find the right guy since the first Undisclosed book and even more as we have learned more about him since. Canyon hasn’t been able to be fully open with his wants and discovers so much more about what those are after meeting Larson. I really liked their easy friendship and how Canyon wasn’t going to back down in fear of the unknown or from being scared off by family, though they both have crazy families (their just different brands of crazy). I can’t to read more of this friend group and the Larson family.

I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review

  • Fadheelah

A much anticipated book and it was a sweet read.
From the first time they caught sight of each other, they were intrigued by one another.
With a little help of family, they end up meeting and it’s like fate stepped in and it was meant to be.

Larson and Canyon suited each other other perfectly and were able to bring out the best in each other.
Larson being able to embrace his little side completely and Canyon his Daddy side with a bit of spice.
The colourful side characters, Johnson family and pets make this even more entertaining.
A fun, laugh out loud read at times, with endearing moments, passionate scenes and cute little playtime as well. A lovely addition to this series.
