This is a lovely little book. My favorite sections were the Deep Time Walk, Deep into the Earth, the Despacho, Magical Waters for Power and Healing, Ritual Madness, the Color Correspondences, A Crow Spell, and A New Path coloring ritual, all of which I marked so I can perform them throughout the year. I also liked the sacred chocolate essay which inspired me to stop buying my regular coffee and switch to sustainable coffee. My very favorite part of the book is the essay about Akhilandeshwari (The Goddess Never Not Broken). I’d never heard of or worked with this goddess before. The essay moved me to tears and the end made me want to cheer and drive around listening to Alanis Morrissette again. 3 cheers to Mickie Mueller for the thought provoking and heart warming essay. I think I will revisit it when I need it.

Curiosity got me with this book. It’s a great comprehensive fascinating book on the energies of the elements and how they move at a personal level, a global level and universal level and all together. At least I think so. You’ll have to read to find out. This book is full of different authors contributors who are OG’s in the world of magical living. They have lots of great knowledge for the beginner and I’m sure as reminders for the advanced. One of my favorite homework assignments was, A Treasure Map for Life Goals p. 74-77. I love stuff like that. And the section on Water Magic p217-263… being a water sign myself, I resonated with a lot of the water elements of magical living. This book wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. I love that each author gives their down to earth insights on magical living. And the 2022 Almanac p. 101-166, I’m sure I will be referencing that through the year.

Overall the book is set up very pleasant and informative like a laid back text book with fun exercises to do at the end of each section.

Exceptionally simplistic which I appreciated. After many highlights, this book is a keeper on my shelf.

I’ve been getting these for years and I will continue to do so. I honestly buy it for all of the articles. It features multiple authors and topics I’m interested in, this year’s edition is no different. I have a few ideas to still do myself and was happy to see a few I’ve done already. Can’t wait to read the one for next year!
