I recently had her books in my tbr list and then found them on Hoopla. They are short listens like about a 105 monuted to 2 hrs.
Piper needed a protector not for the reasons she keeps telling people. So she goes to a prison and buys a protector...the largest and angriest alien there, Tankol. Tankol may look big and dumb but he is far from it, and in a short period of time, he sees through her facade and into her heart. Piper does need a protector, but more than that, she needs to be loved. Tankol finding out about her "secret" was o ly like saying oh I stumped my toe..gotta remember these are aliens!!! -
