Stubborn. Secretive. Obtuse, that's Samantha, also kind, whip-smart and loyal. Most of all...
She's Mine.
She just won't admit it yet.

Mac
I’ve given Sam months to admit what was brewing between us.
The sharp-tongue hellion refuses to do so, so when she comes to me for help, I already know what my price will be.
She’s running, hiding, waiting for something, but she doesn’t have to be alone. We are stronger together. Whatever her problems are, they are already mine too, and I won’t allow anything to upset my woman.
And she is my woman, today, tomorrow, and forever more.

Sam
Fighting my attraction to one of the hottest eligible bachelor’s in Journey’s Close is hard enough, and my self-control is growing thin.
When I have nowhere else to turn for help, he’s waiting to catch me and trap me with an indecent bargain.
I know that I’ll use that excuse to give him everything he wants. Everything I want.
After, I’ll draw a line. I can’t afford to let anyone in, especially not Mac, who looks at me like he wants to take all my problems and bury them for me, a savior, a hero. Being my hero will only get him hurt, and I can’t allow that. Once it’s over, he’ll just have to let me go.

Welcome to Journey's Close, Alaska, a small town, full of sexy alpha males and second chances.

A standalone romance in a four-book series, where all the characters are interconnected with each getting their own happy ending. Insta love with real emotion all in a binge-able, bite-sized story.

A short, steamy romance with heart.
Steamy Romance - High Heat - High Emotion - No cheating - No cliffhangers - HEA guaranteed

Her Mountain Man Pursuer (Journey's Close, Alaska #3) Reviews

“The problem with Sam was that she had built those high walls with only herself inside, and that had to change. I had to be on the same side of that wall, even if it meant knocking it down and building it back around us both.”

This book really didn’t do it for me. I hated Sam. She’s one of those female characters that pushes away the guy because she’s sooo independent and for really no reason at all. She just resists resists resists when she wants to be with him. It makes me nuts and doesn’t make for a good, realistic story. If you don’t mind that type of heroine then maybe you will enjoy this. It was written well, I just couldn’t stand the non-plot.

Mac is a bar owner in Journey Alaska and is drawn to Samantha from the moment she walks into his bar. Samantha is trying to fix up an inn when she gets a call from her past telling her that she might be able to come back to work as a lawyer. Samantha is torn between wanting her old life and the promise of what Mac can give her. When Mac runs into her after he had given her a ride home the previous night she tells him about possibly selling her inn. Mac isn't happy about that and sets about to show her why she should stay. Will Samantha see that Alaska and Mac is where she belongs now? Can Mac convince her to give him a chance?

This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more in the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Samantha (“Sam”) had come to Alaska to avoid threats against her in her old job. Mac fell for her the moment he saw her, knowing there was something special about her. Sam tried to push him away, but he dug in and was determined that she was worth the wait and he would not give up on her. Sam is actually attracted to him as well, but she worries about her past catching up to her and whether she would even want to live here in Alaska. When there may be a chance of her returning to New York, Mac knows he has to convince her that her place is here with him. What will her answer be?

This story line will melt your heart. The sincerity is so obvious and he will do anything to keep Sam here with him. Grab your copy and see what her final decision is.

A cute novella featuring a Scottish bar owner and a New York lawyer living in a small town in Alaska. The story was adorable, and I loved Mac's character. A nice quick read.
