You Stack it, We Pack it.

Life should be good when you are a daughter of Aphrodite, or a daughter of Morrigan. But that’s not what the fates had in mind for Cherry and Ebony. The two women get stuck together in the human realm to return a favor their mothers owe that will change their lives forever.

Appointed as the Karma collectors, they have the perfect opportunity to grow into their powers, only if they can look past their differences and embrace the destiny unfolding at their feet.

Having thieves as their fated mates was never part of the plan.

When Thor’s hammer gets stolen, it’s time to dash out some karma and collect on the sin. That’s where their troubles begin. Although they don’t like each other, they must work together unless they want to pay penance in the underworld for a century.

This whole mates thing must be a mixup, the only thing both of them agree on.

Plus, it can’t be hard to deliver karma to humans, right?

Wrong.

This book is a must for everyone, especially if you are in the need of a good giggle!! The dynamics between Ebony and Cherry are polar opposites! They are daughters of goddesses and thrown together by Karma. Cherry is determined to break down Ebony's walls and make her like her. And this is one of the funniest things. All whilst on their first mission, where they find more than they expected. I completely recommend this book, you won't regret picking it up.

Karma is truly a bia~ she recruits all of the goddesses, demigods and etc...to a party, only to order the daughters’ of Aphrodite and the goddess of war to team up and discover a missing weapon~ the two are total opposites and get on each other’s nerves~ Cherry, Aphrodite’s daughter, acts like a real dumb blonde who only has a heart of gold. Ebony is a tough-as-nails warrior who cannot abide Cherry or her actions. They will have to endure one another in the human realm and learn to live and work together to do Karma’s bidding~ Someone has it in for the two…and when they believe they have found the missing weapon…they also find two hunky brothers that make them feel things they should not be~ Along with their familiars, this journey will have your ROFL and the crazy antics and snarky snipe the two trade while struggling to adapt! You will NOT want to miss the beginning of this new and epic series written by two very talented writers! All I can say is by the end of Chapter 6 all I could do is laugh-cry, snort and laugh some more…it took me FOREVER to get through them~ The rest of the book is like reading a tale that you are on with an enemy turned best friend….I can truly see and hear both authors in the stead of Cherry and Ebony as lifelong frenemies~ The Halo series is my favorite books because of NARSI…but these two have quickly become the next favorite…please pick up a copy and be ready to roll with laughter~

First chapter in and I feel asif Ebony is my twin. Boy oh boy I can't stand Cherry!! Gosh, I wanted to throttle her 😂 You ever had that friend/colleague/family member that just rubs you the wrong way by just existing? Sheesh! And that of course means the authors did a great job in showing us how these two are totally opposites of each other and makes the whole 'frenemies' so much more believable. With a totally new take on demi-gods, and fated mates in the mix - what could go wrong? This is certainly a journey of self-discovery and I look forward in reading more of the crazy antics and karma jobs coming their way. I am truly excited about this series and look forward to the next book.

This book will have you laughing so hard. It is hilarious!!! It took me a day longer than normal to read it, I could not stop laughing. You talk about opposites, Cherry and Ebony are so different and the conflict between them is what makes this book epic.

Cherry is full of enthusiasm, everything is perfect, love and smiles conquer all. Ebony is sullen, dresses all in black and is completely different than Cherry. They are like night & day........ When I heard there were gods, demi gods and fated mates, I knew this book would be good. I was absolutely correct!!!!! It's a fantastic read!! The controversy between the two is what makes this book an awesome read.

The way the world is today a book like this Is needed. It takes you away and makes laughter something precious. I can't wait to see how the fated mates work out. They have no idea what they are in for.

I still laugh when I think of Cherry saying "Easy peasy lemon squeezy". OMG I have not heard that saying since grade school. And I bet I know which author wrote that chapter. If I could get readers to read one book right now. It would be this one. The smiles, laughter and a feeling of happiness is what you will get by reading this book!!

I highly recommend this book as a must read!!! You will not be sorry!

STUCK WITH MY FRENEMY is the first book in The Karma Collectors series and if you are looking for an opposites book, then this is your winner.

Ebony is the daughter of the Morrigan, and Cherry the daughter of Aphrodite. One is full of rainbows, the other loves black. I'll leave it to you to figure out which is which. For some as yet unknown reason, Cherry and Ebony are sent to Earth as Karma's Collectors, and their first job is to give karma to the two thieves who stole Thor's Hammer. Of course, nothing is simple, so throw in a couple of fated mates plus Loki, and you're left with a whole ball of fun.

As Maya Daniels is one of the co-authors, you can expect the pacing to be extremely fast. I think the whole book takes place over a couple of days. The characters, you will either love or hate. I know it's probably meant to be this way but I really hate Cherry! Like, seriously!!! People talk about nails on a chalkboard, well, Cherry had me like chewing on a cotton wool ball! My jaw was so tense with every scene she was in and my palms were covered in nail marks.

If humorous urban fantasy is your thing, then I can definitely recommend this book. I'm sure the series is going to be full of fun and frolics, but I'm just not sure I'm up for all that colour! I think I may just retreat into my pit of doom and gloom and be happy there.

I am fairly new to this author and have never read the other, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this book. I was a little leery of this, but oh, my Cupid, this was hilarious! Cherry and Ebony are such opposites, but they work so well together. I am somewhere in the middle of these two, so I found both to be great. LOL! Add in a quest to find Thor’s hammer, two hot brothers, and lots of hijinks, and you are in for a wild ride with this. I enjoyed this so much, and I’m more than ready to read the next. Highly recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

This was a really good book! I liked it from page 1 (actually sentence 1).

    "Karma's a bitch" and I was hooked!
The book bounces between the pov of Cherry and Ebony who are total opposites in every way. Preppy cheerleader girl who likes rainbows vs moody goth girl who doesn't like anything other than her own solitude.

The plot made things go a bit too quickly which is the only downside. They are given a task and then complete it with almost no trouble.

There was a potential romantic element to the book which really took the back burner to the growing friendship between the two girls.

I am looking forward to book 2 and seeing how Cherry and Ebony's relationship grows.

I loved this start to a new series!
Ebony and Cherry are total opposites ~ ones light and bubbly, the other dark and quiet. It was great to read the two total opposites and how they learnt to deal with each other - you felt for Ebony having this unicorns and rainbows girl constantly in her face, but you also had to admire Cherrys determination to break through Ebonys defenses, and theres walls on walls there!
Add in the mix, the hunt for Thor's stolen hammer, the discovery of their mates, and the mystery behind their match up will have you hanging for more.
    P.S. Don't mess with Karma!

This was a fun summertime read! I enjoyed the cast of mythological characters and the fact the Karma is the one they appear to fear most. The main characters are Cherry, daughter of Aphrodite and Ebony, daughter of Morgana. Polar opposites stuck together on an adventure to find Thor’s missing hammer. Lots of good snarky comments between the two main characters, which is entertaining. Along the way the frenemies seem to change into actual friends and find their fated mates.

loved this book!! ... couldn't put it down and can't wait for the next (and watch out for Karma)!!

  • Jeanine Harrell

This is my first book by either of these authors. I had no idea what to expect going in to it and it definitely blew me away! The main characters, Ebony and Cherry are absolutely opposites in everything. They’re stuck together on a mission and Cherry is determined to break down Ebony’s walls while on their mission. The banter back and forth and the dynamic between the two is hilarious! Cherry’s over the top personality made me laugh so many times. I don’t think I’ve highlighted as many passages in a book as I did this one. Throughout the story Cherry begins to realize that the two girls are more alike than they realize in their coping mechanisms. Ebony also begrudgingly admits that Cherry does in fact begin to grow on her. I can’t wait to read the next installment to see where their relationship goes as well as what develops with Bernie and Ash.

This book is hilarious and can you expect anything more when you have a great mix of goddesses together? I mean egos are going to clash. This book was expertly written by Maya Daniels as only can be expected. She has this uncanny ability to get into the minds of each of her characters as if she's lived their lives and then puts it all on paper. It's amazing as the fantastic story behind all of them unfolds.

  • Lorie Maw

What could possibly go wrong when you make the daughters of Aphrodite and Morrigan agents of Karma? Cherry and Ebony are complete opposites. Throw in unexpected mates and all bets are off.

  • Erin

Having to work together to pay back a favor cause by the parents, Cherry, Aphrodite's daughter and Ebony Morrigan have to figure out how to make due with each other. On a mission to recover Thor's stolen hammer, meeting their fated mates was not a part of the plan. Such a fun story and I'm looking forward to the next book.

    Great fun read

This was a fun book to read with a twist or two to the story. When Cherry and Amber are thrown together to serve Karma on Earth you know sparks are going to fly cos those two are not friends!

  • Paulina Sanchez-Navarro

    Great laughs

The characters begin a little cliche but as the plot develops they grow and change. The plot line is simple, but entertaining. Great beginning to a new series.
