Night Terrors Vol. 10: Short Horror Stories Anthology Reviews

  • Billie

    This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great drama and romance with wonderful world building.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
    Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

I have yet to read one of these anthologies that didn't warrant a five-star rating. This one keeps the streak running. Each of these collections has an underlying theme, a source of the scares if you will. In this case, it's structures (houses, sheds, cabins, etc). They're out there, hidden just off the beaten path, behind the copse of trees you pass by every day, just waiting for some unsuspecting soul to wander up and decide that quaint old farmhouse is just the neatest place ever. Go ahead. Stroll on inside and make yourself at home. Just don't make any long term plans.
Keep them coming, Scare Street. You have a real knack for finding great new talent in the horror genre. They never disappoint.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest and unbiased review.

Another good little collection of creepies. A murder of crows that may take the term literally. A blob that wants very much to come into the house and a suspected vampire are just a few of the dark tales down this street. The stories are just the right length for a quick read while you are on a break with a little something something for everyone. Nicely done yet again.

    Good Short Stories

Good stories but not enough of them. I enjoyed them, though. Kept my mind and imagination involved. Will probably read again
