Lucy sets off to find Moon! Will Lucy find Moon, and will Moon learn how much everybody loves her?

The Night The Moon Went Missing Reviews

Sweet science-infused picture book about a moon who feels forgotten and disappears. Warm and fuzzy life lessons (everyone is important! we take care of each other!) combine with intriguing astronomy facts (flawlessly worked into the illustrations) for a read-aloud that will inspire curious listeners to ask questions, do research, and be grateful for the moon.

This wasn't my favorite book about the moon or about personified objects but it was decently cute. Could be used to talk about feelings. My favorite part of the book were the newspaper clippings because they showed some of the importance of the moon.

Delightful story about sad, lonely, neglected-feeling Moon who goes to hide and the little girl who finds here. Cute, detailed illustrations remind me of the McAnulty planet books. Lots of moon facts on the end pages.
