Working for one of the richest, and most controlling men to ever grace the cover of Forbes, I should have known my smart mouth would get me in trouble. I just didn't know how much, once I caught the billionaire's eye.

West St. Vincent
It was lust at first sight for me, and hate at first sight for her, but that was OK.
I could work with hate.
The sight of Angel De Marco creeping about my kitchen shocked me from the numb haze I’d fallen into for years. She was impertinent, outspoken… mine… from the moment I laid eyes on her.
She just didn’t know it yet.
She’s too young for me. Too innocent. Too honest. Too good.
I don’t care.
She’s mine.

Angel
The first thing I learned about West St. Vincent, was the size of protection he used.
Extra extra large, if you’re curious.
I also learned that he usually dated willowy blondes with a surgery face, vapid expressions, and a vomit-worthy tendency to simper at his feet.
My name is Angel DeMarco, and I’ve never simpered.
A simple fact that’s about to get me in a whole lot of trouble.

Extra steamy. No cliffhanger. A bite-sized romantic novella. HEA guaranteed.
If you like rough alphas who fall fast and hard for a lucky girl and take no excuses or prisoners in their pursuit, then follow me and never miss a release!

FIRSTS started with the hero is with another woman when he already saw and spoke to the heroine. The heroine even have to see the hero with a woman who suck him off too after they first meet so ITS A NO FOR ME. Going to skip this one.

    Bad first impression for me.
Even tho the cover and the title is a hot one but that beginning makes me not want to continue...

"She's Mine" is the story of Angel and West.

Hero is a bad boy billionaire, who is also a dom, who gets instantly taken by the heroine. She defies him and catches his interest, and he manipulates things around her to make her his. Now did I need to read about her watching him - No. And thats one of the reasons for the rating. Also because I dont know if he thought he was a dom because he said it, or if he was actually one. A bit confusing.

    2.75/5

    Very quick read

Billionaire and a woman who was an illegal immigrant fall in love quickly. Never heard of a billionaire needing people to work under the table though.

    Short Story

This a a short and fast love story of West St Vincent the rich alphahole with and ego to match his dominance and Angel De Marco his new House Assistant.
They meet when he comes home early when she is packing his shopping away and she was hired by Matt so they haven’t met, she sasses him and he calls her impertinent but she leaves when his date for the night follows him in to the kitchen.
She sees him in a compromising position with a woman and he sends the woman away and makes advances to Angel (not his best move considering what he was having done to him when Angel walked in it was pretty gross to be fair).
However he quickly falls for her and has her investigated and holds something over her to get her to come back as she quit after what happened in the hallway.
West knows what he wants and Angel is it for him so he pursues her and they fall in love and then get married.
It’s a sweet quick romance read with no major trauma or tragedy and it looks like the next book is her BFF Mia and Elliott the lawyer who helps Angel.

    Funny

When you hate being ordered around, but want to be taken and plundered. That's what you get when you work for a rich man who finds you breathtaking!

“Do you understand, sweetheart? You’re not alone anymore.”

I loved this short read. I wasn't sure about West at first, especially with the kitchen scene but don't give up on him! He turns into that amazing, protective, possessive Alpha that we all read these stories for. Angel is a perfect match for him, she gives back just as much as he gives. This one is going on my re-read list for when I need a quick romance pick me up.

    It was good

I usually don't like leaving a review if it's under 4stars, but this is my first time reading this author and I thought about this book and compared it to a few others I'd read recently that were similar in trope theme, and length. I liked it, better than I would had it been an author I was used to, cause the beginning of their interactions had certain personal reading preferences read killjoy elements... Had I read about it in a review, I would have skipped over reading it automatically, which is why I'm being vague, because I am glad I read it... I want to give it 4 stars, but the elements holding me back are those "killjoy" deal breaker moments that usually are enough for me to stay away from reading something, and the other thing isn't here is a bit of a disconnect between West and Angels " romantic insta connection " so to speak... They were both well developed and written characters... But it's kinda like there was one missing piece in their romantic story puzzle that instead of filling, the author just s squished the other pieces together to make it fit... I think an extra chapter in Wests pov showing him communicating his feelings as genuine instead of just...

:::spoiler::: bam let's get her here so I can be sure her surrender and connection I feel are as Tre as I think they are( using a very scary incentive to leverage her into going back to his house office with her in such a real life position of helplessness and him having WAY too much power in his position, ) was not caring, like he was clueless to how precarious of a situation he set them both in , wanting confirmation of their share feeling , only expressed with a shared physical act 1.3 minutes before having his lawyer enter the room to discuss "things" was like a triple whammy blindside t the face for her, that he only wondered after the fact about how it would have been better to talk to her first..DUHHHH IDIOT 1. A verbal explanation of his g genuine feeling being his motivation, and a clue that he consulted a lawyer at all in the very least would have been necessary explanation deserved... A page or 2 with him doing that would have made this a 4\5star novella... It would cover that disconnect that was a niggle in the back of our minds

What the hell did I start to read???

    Uhmmm… wow. No, just… No!

I would REALLY like to know if a woman would seriously dry hump a man (and get off) mere MINUTES after watching him get his cock sucked by another woman in the kitchen. Because let me tell you, that comes off as major fucking “ick” (nasty… gagging going on) factor to me.
But obviously, it’s a turn on for this fmc.

NEVER would I allow a man to touch me so soon after witnessing a scene like that. Truth be told, I wouldn’t have let him ever touch me. And I like me a dominant man. But this… I would be disgusted with him (god knows where that duck has been… obviously he got it wet before the kitchen scene) and enraged that he would think to put moves on me when he just booted his booty call? woman from his house.
And the fmc was all embarrassed about dry humping him and running away, and worried what his opinion of her would be because of that.

And then the hero found out about her illegal status, and it doesn’t even cross her mind (as he propositions for a kiss) that he may be using that as a means to intimidate/threaten her into his bed? She just goes for the “you must think I need the money for drugs or gang stuff or to bail out a deadbeat boyfriend.” Becoming his fuck toy didn’t even cross her mind.

No outrage from her, either, when he told her he investigated her background because that’s what he did with all the women he got involved with. They weren’t even involved, she had been trying to stay away from him… and she just completely ignored the fact that he automatically assumed they were gonna fuck.

    WTF

Where the hell is the self respect/self worth at in this story?? The stupidity level shown by the fmc was so unbelievable that I couldn’t even finish this book.

    Good

I am so glad Gia Bailey redid some of the story to make it safe. I would never have read it the old way. This was a sweet and sexy story. West knew the minute he met Angel that she was it for him. Angel has a few problems to deal with and isn’t sure of West’s true intentions. She’s scared to give her heart and her secret if he’s not 100% serious.

    Safety and Spoilers
Safe. There is a woman with H in his kitchen when h arrives for work but he makes it clear he is not interested in her. The meeting was set up by his mother. h and her grandmother were being harassed by a man they thought would help their illegal status. He was harassing h for more money and wanted “favours” from her in return for a discount. He accosts her at her apartment but she and H take care of it. H mentions pasts relationships and I wasn’t sure if he was celibate because he was bored with the women he met or if he was continuing to have boring sex, maybe it’s the late hour 😂. h was a virgin.

Soooooooo I think the author changed the story? I’m seeing the other reviews about the bj, and that wasn’t part of what I read at all.
If this is the case of the author listening to complaints, and fixing (yes, fixing) the plot, then good for her! I can guarantee I wouldn’t have continued reading if that was in the book.

All that being said, this was a quick, sexy read. I look forward to reading more of the series.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND

I won’t lie, didn’t even bother finishing it. So much for a “safe” read. If you like reading about the H getting oral from another woman, go ahead and give it a go. Hopefully next time the author will give a warning in the description that it’s not a “safe” read.

  • Snow

promising writing, good amount of angst, but the relationship developed way too fast, with too few interactions between the hero and heroine. i would be open to reading something by this author again someday though.

  • Honey

    Bleh!!

Not a fan of West, at all. He's disgusting and Angel is right to get away from him! I'm sorry but he's rich so its ok to blackmail the poor illegal girl? Meh, no thanks just because he's supposedly hot, we are expected to forget he's gross and a blackmailer? No thanks.

  • Lady Pearl

I’ll join the other reviewers and just say: a blowjob from another woman is always icky to me in a romance novel - but even more icky when it’s immediately followed by a sexual encounter between the hero and heroine *shudders*

And the story is barely over 100 pages! Nah this ain’t it…

  • Paige McClure

    okay

This book while I understand is super short left a few things unresolved/unfinished. I wish we would have seen a bit more from the main characters instead of 70% running away. However still a nice read.

  • Talia Nyx

Not as bad as I was expecting, not as good as I might have hoped.

  • Gia Bailey

Author's Note! - This book has been revised and re-written to make it a SAFE read, in keeping with the rest of the series (and all my other stories!)

  • Lynnett

For a short age gap insta-love story, the writing was excellent.

  • AGM

A hot and steamy fantasy. Just what’s needed ;)

  • Shock

Not a cliffhanger. This book was good, loved the story line and the chemistry they have for each other is hot. Not too long of a read for those who like nice quick romance reads!

  • J.B. Sharp

Overall a good storyline, some editing mistakes that distracted from the reading.

  • Brenda Porter

    first book

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I have to say I absolutely loved it. I have a new favorite author.
