After surviving a terrifying experience in the Canadian wilderness, Grace Winslow struggles with a deadly disease. At the same time, new concerns fracture the group of persecuted saints. Some consider leaving for perceived safety deeper in the forest.

Meanwhile, Maxwell Flynn finds himself drawn to Grace’s selfless character and charming personality. At any other time in history, he’d fall head over heels for her. But the world has never seen times like these, and he needs to keep his focus on providing for – and protecting – the fragile group hiding in the woods.

Soon, troubles rise from all sides. Nature itself seems to become one of the group’s greatest adversaries. From predators to meteorites, danger constantly lurks outside their flimsy fabric tents.

As their difficulties mount, the group suffers a tragedy that threatens to rip them apart. Can they find a way forward through the turmoil? Or has their ragtag band of believers reached the end of the road?

    4 Stars

“Like maybe God puts us here at a certain time in history to accomplish something in particular.”

Another great read and excellent characterization from Grey. Sinners was a little bit more fast paced than Saints and I enjoyed that aspect.

These are the types of books that are beneficial, in my opinion- to be read right now, with the way the world looks and feels currently. Makes me think of scenarios that have a potential to happen in our lifetime. Makes me face the hard questions and take a solid look at my own priorities and life.

This series as a whole is probably one you could read all in one day, they are simple and quick reads that keep you wanting to turn the pages. Looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds in the last book Martyrs.
    Would recommend!

Tribulation series by Jamie Lee Grey
    Saints, book 1
    Sinners, book 2
    Martyrs, book 3

Genre: Christian Thriller & Suspense, Christian Sci Fi

This series follows a group of Christians who are forced to run from the government. Citizens are being forced to be microchipped in order to continue with ‘normal’ day to day activities. There is no longer any religion recognized other than the one declared by the world leader. This small group of survivalists must venture into the wilderness and depend on the strengths of each other to get them through.

Each of the books immediately follows the other, like a television mini-series. I thought this was a refreshing approach by the author. The story plays out to be more romantic suspense than anything else. I really enjoyed getting to know each of the members, especially the two main characters Grace and Maxwell.

In Saints, book 1 - members are just getting used to one another and suspicions rise. The many dangers in the wilderness begin to show themselves.

In Sinners, book 2 - Grace begins to feel the group has found their rhythm to their daily survival, but not all plans are God’s plan.

In Martyrs, book 3 - members are on the run again, the government’s reach seems to be getting closer. Will God reveal his plan to them?

Another excellent offering by Jamie Lee Grey! Sinners was even more fast-paced (and stressful to read) than Saints. This series really makes you contemplate how far you would be willing to go to hold fast to your faith. The characters are so inspiring--I love how they pray and reach for their Bibles when things get difficult. That doesn't mean they don't make mistakes, but God always seems to bring them back to where they need to be. There's a particularly chilling scene in this book where the characters are listening to the radio and they're about to hear the antichrist speak. That scene really stuck with me. I also love the developing romance between Max and Grace. I can't wait to see what happens in Book 3!

    Not bad

Well this is the second series I've read by Jamie Grey. Not real sure how to describe and rate them.

One thing I want to acknowledge and praise very highly....... unlike many of the hundreds of books I've read on Amazon Kindle........there are practically no errors in her books, no misspelled words, no incorrect words, punctuation is correct!!!

A huge majority of the books on Amazon Kindle are filled with wrong words, misspelled words, incorrect punctuation but this is about the tenth book I've read of Grey's and I don't see that problem.

Amazon why can't ALL of your books be like that??? It's extremely irritating to read some of the books.

I'll continue to read Grey's books.

Blessed reading is hard to find.

This is the best kind of thing I've done for myself in a long time. I like the way it gets into the characters thoughts and worries. It is so good to find them struggling to pray to God in a personal relationship. So many times this genre of books just throws scripture after scripture at the reader. It is as if that alone justified the plot of the book.

    Exciting

This is the second book in this excellent series about life for various people during Tribulation as the Christians hide in a Canadian forest while Evil tries to catch to kill them. Various challenges pop up and how the characters interact is what makes the story feel real.

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

Jesus is coming back soon for His bride! Get ready!

I love the frequent use of the Bible throughout the story. It is very difficult to put the book down when you have to. This author is a very gifted writer and I can’t wait to read everything else that has been written.

    Another Great Series

Jamie Lee Grey never lets me down with her story te!ling. It is important that Scripture and Biblical truth is evidenced in a story and yet again she has done it.
