The perfect nighttime readaloud for your little farmer!

It's bedtime at the farm, and all the animals need to go to sleep. But, oh no! The cows are in the pig's pen, the pigs are in the hen house, the hens are in the horse's stall, and no one is where they're supposed to be! Can you find all the animals and get them into their proper beds before the night is through? Little ones will be lulled to sleep right alongside the farm animals in this quirky and sweet board book.

Nighttime floats across the farm.
It's time for sleep, of course.
But something here is not quite right...
Where's the pig and cow and horse?

Barnyard Bedtime Reviews

A adorable board book to read before bedtime. All the animals are not where they belong when its time for bed. With animal sounds, charming illustrations, it is a sweet routine for bedtime.

A special thank you to Sourcebooks Kids and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

Barnyard Bedtime is the perfect book to read to my grandchildren as they are preparing for bed. This is an adorable story with the cutest illustrations. It is time for bed and a trip around the farm shows us all the tired animals, but they are all in the wrong bed. The text was rhyming and lyrical, with a great cadence to read aloud. My grandson loved trying to repeat the animal sounds. Each page had them cooing over the cute baby animals. We read it a couple of times before all three of them crawled into their own beds. This is another of those books that will go in my new baby gift baskets. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book upon request. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

I love children’s books! This is a wonderful book to read at bedtime and to introduce animal sounds to your child. I can see the interaction of repeating these sounds.
I would use with a story time theme of bedtime or farm animals. Including any farm animal craft or maybe a template of a bed with a blanket. The favorite animal from the story tucked in.
I also see this as a gift for a new baby, with an added blanket and a stuffed animal.

Stunning illustrations, consistent rhyming meter, and humor that even a young toddler can "get." This is destined to be a classic in our household.

You, as the farmer, make the rounds at bedtime to gather all the far-flung animals that have wandered off into the others' domains. The chicks are all muddy in the pig pen and the sheep are soaking in the duck pond. You give them each a light scolding as you shepherd them back into their beds.

    Cute story. Nice rhymes.
