Echo’s latest decisions may cost her the lives of her mates. Forsaking her destiny was not an issue, but forsaking her heart is another matter all together. Believing the trouble is behind her leaves her open for a battle of epic proportions-one she may not be able to fight her way out of.

When Echo unleashes the full extent of her magic on the Fae realm, she almost destroys everything. Including the king. But she holds back just enough to assure her father’s survival. If she knew what would be coming for her, she wouldn’t have.

The Fae king might’ve admitted defeat, but when it comes to his daughter, he is far from done. In order to stay in the human realm, she reveals power he will do anything to confiscate. If killing her mates will help him achieve that, it’ll please him to no end.

Whether Echo survives or not is of little importance.

Forsaken Heart (Forsaken Destiny, #3) Reviews

FORSAKEN HEART is the third book in the Forsaken Destiny series and we continue where we left off. Echo is recovering from her father's tender ministrations, and Xzavier is currently undergoing the same treatment from his. The others? Well, they're busy trying to be the mate they think Echo wants them to be, rather than who they are.

Echo seemed a bit weaker in this book, maybe because of the aforementioned treatment, so I was incredibly happy when she realised just what she was asking of her mates. I still don't like Proto... and I know I will probably end up liking him because Ms Daniels has something special up her sleeve. But I can honestly say, for three books, I haven't liked him at all.

Another mate has had the bond claimed, which still leaves two hanging by a thread. Tyler is still my favourite by far. The overall story arc moves along and leaves you wanting the next book to continue the story. As will all Maya Daniels' books, the pace is fast and furious, so hold onto your hats.

Best read in order, this is a great addition to the series and recommended by me.

This is the third book in the Forsaken Destiny series. It is my favorite book so far. It picks up where book #2 ended.

Echo has been through so much and her mates are so worried about her. They need to figure out a plan to get her fourth mate out of the Fae realm. Echo and her mates become so much closer she knows they are her mates and she also knows destiny brought them to her for a reason. She will do what it takes to protect them.

Her mates start to figure out that Echo's powers grew stronger when she went through the portal and that they feel stronger also, because of the mate bond. They figure out that fate and destiny always happen as it should. And you can not stop it.

When Echo let's go and pushes out her magic, it is strong enough to completely destroy the Fae realm. She pulls back just enough to not kill her father. And that may be a fatal mistake.

Now that her father knows how much power she has, he will never stop going after her. Even if killing her mates is what it takes, he would enjoy that and nothing will stop him now!!!

This book is fantastic, it's full of humor, it's fast paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Another mate is bonded to Echo. Two more need to bond to her and this may be the one thing that brings her father down for good. Once you start reading you can't put it down. I'm not a fan of Proto, but this author always has a reason for the familiars in her books. So I'll wait to see what she has up her sleeve for Proto. This book was just amazing!!!!

Let me just say the stakes went way up for Echo and her mates in book 3! The heat level has also risen~ Echo is back from her father holding her captive and she is trying to recover. Three of her mates are feeling pretty useless because they could not protect her! That is silly though given the circumstances. She is awaiting her Prince…and it is tearing her up not knowing which way he will choose! Her other three mates learn more about one another and Echo. Then, Echo and three of the mates will have to go on a rescue mission, but if her father or the other king discovers her in the Fae realm…all bets are off! They HAVE to be super careful. Once they get there, all heck breaks loose! It will be hard to determine who will come out alive, hurt, mutilated, or dead! Also, her familiar, Proto seems to be hiding quite a few things as well…what is his endgame? The cliffhanger had me rofl lmao…just wait…you will LOVE it!

Another amazing instalment to Echo's story. I love her so much. She realises in this one that the bond with her mates is important and that she needs to be less stubborn about things. She has a realisation about her familiar, after his very honest words. I'd love to get in his head a bit and see things from his pov at some point. Xzavier steps up, but then needs his mates. This, as always from Maya, is so well written. A story that captivates you from cover to cover.

I received an ARC, in return for an honest review.

Echo is discovering the full extent of her powers as she, Proto and 3 of 4 of her mates set out to rescue her 4th mate from his father. Echo has to face some hard truths about herself and her beliefs and how that impacts the people around her.

  • Lori Hammons

Echo and her guys have a dangerous mission. Proto gives Echo some hard truths and demands respect. Two mate bonds completed, two to go. This installment is intense and suspenseful. So looking forward to the next.

    Fantastic!!!

I’m loving every second of this series!!! Echo is an amazing heroine and I can’t wait to see what is coming for her next!!!

Oh my! I need my fan, porch, rocking chair, sweet tea, and dramatic Southern drawl for the emphasis on how good this book and series is to read. Maya Daniels always knocks it out of the ballpark and this one is another home run on her tally.

Echo is back where she belongs in her little safe house with her 3 mates. As she anxiously awaits to see what Xzavier decides to do, none expected the news that comes out from the portal. Now with the help of her 3 mates, she reluctantly relies on Proto's help to try and rescue Xzavier, but can she really trust him to get them all in and out alive or will he continue to play games with their lives just for his own entertainment? What they discover on the other side will test them all, Echo the most - just how far is she willing to go to save those she loves most?
Another great read, I love the character developments, especially Echos growth and the hints that there might be more to Proto behaviour - cant wait to find out more!!

    So good

Loved it. This book is really brining the story along nicely. Im glad fmc wad able to get her man out of trouble but i am SUPER curious about Proto. Theres so many theories that could explain him hut i will b sad if hes not really on Echos side.
Hopefully the last book (which i cant wait to come out) wraps everything up nicely with a HEA. Fingers crossed
