  Vee Bryant, this read was different for me. Very true though there are some women that once they mess up a good relationship and a child is involved she will use that child as a pawn in a never ending cycle. Bonnie was a woman like this, she didn't really want the child she just wanted Kenzo he on the other hand loved her through the foolishness at first until he just couldn't take it anymore.
  Lance was someone that had a good woman but he chose to mess around with someone that thought he wanted more than he could give. Nissa knew he was in a relationship but with Emersyn breaking up with Lance and Kenzo breaking free of Bonnie, Kenzo meets Emersyn and Lance meets Bonnie neither one knows they have met the ex's. Nissa won't get it through her mind that Lance did her wrong but did he? She knew his situation with Emersyn but she kept on trying to keep them together because all she wanted was for Lance to love her as he Loved Emersyn.
  What's going on with Lance and Bonnie? Nissa has lost her dam mind. And now she doesn't have her brother's behind her so wonder what's going to happen to her?

  Nissa been getting on my nerves the whole book. She done already bout got her brothers killed by telling lies. Yea Lance was wrong for leading her on but he been nothing but honest with her since she outed them. For her to take it this far was the wrong move because Emersyn wasn't thinking about her or Lance. She better figure out if the consequences she about to suffer was worth her actions. Lance is alright. I hate how he did Emersyn but I like that he owns up to what he did. I don't know how he gonna take it when he find out what his baby mama did. I don't know how to feel about Bonnie right now. I think she a little bitter about her baby daddy Kenzo. I think Kenzo and Emersyn will be good healers for each other. 💞💞

  Well ok Vee!!! Only that woman will kno wen shes fed up!! Nissa callin and blasting Lance was the final straw for Emersyn. Im glad she started getting her mental together before just jumping into another relationship. Bonnie and Kenzos relationship needs to get better for the sake of their daughter. Lance is just out still doin wat he do, even tho hes single now 🙄 This was a good mix of drama, ratchet, heartbreak and blossoming friendships. This cliffhanger tho!!! 😮 All i can say is i hope Nissa got an exit strategy cuz Kenzo and Lance bout to go off bout her 😔

  ...and i don't mean this in a good way. This entire story made no sense to me. Side chick confronts main chick because she wants her spot. Main chick leaves her man and side chick is still left with no man. Then to be mad at the main chick because he still wants her is asinine. These are some of the most immature pretending to be mature group of people I've ever read about. This story had too much and not enough going on that I couldn't get into any of the characters. I'm hoping more comes together in book 2 or I probably won't complete the series.

  Emeryson is definitely a different breed and so is Kenzo. Even Lance's trash a$$ is showing a level of maturity that some men in his situation wouldn't possess. There were nuggets of wisdom spread throughout this story too. This story seems realistic to me or how most would want a situation like this one to go. Though Nissa seems like a problem. I cannot wait to see what part 2 brings!

  I love the strength Emerysn portrayed and stuck to when she found out Lance had another woman pregnant, but that baby mama is going to be the one from hell with her crazy self. Kenzo seems like a pretty good guy, I just hope he doesn't disappoint me in part 2. Lance is just like the average ninja and doesn't miss the water until the well runs dry.

  It’s to many characters with no relevance having chapters for me. This entire book was predictable from start to finish. While I appreciate the maturity of Nissa and Kenzie other characters fell short of that. The meaningless drama of coming to the trap house, getting your brother shot, ex’s getting together it all felt superficial.

  I can't believe this book ended with a cliffhanger! Nissa is so jealous of Emersyn. After all her wrong doing, she has the nerve to be jealous! Everyone is trying to tell her right from wrong, but she is not willing to listen. This mistake will cost her. Looking forward to book 2!

  I liked the book. My only issue was that there were too many spelling errors and typos. I would recommend this book to anyone who is trying to get into reading for fun and is into urban fiction. I have the book four stars because of the errors.

  This chick Nissa just mess up how you going to be mad at Emseryn for being with the person she loved before you came into the picture Nissa is bitter and messy because Lance doesn’t want to be in a relationship with her what she taught was going to happen when she told him she was pregnant that they will run off to the sunset together not baby girl he got them goodies he let you know what it was from the beginning and yet she still choose to be with an unfaithful men so I don’t feel sorry for her but since she just hit Emseryn she just made a deeper hole for herself
