Great Standalone
Great job Dominique. Mafioso was a ass that got everything that he deserved. I enjoyed True and Melanie. I'm so happy that Ariel got those hands everytime she came for Melanie. Great storyline and the characters were great -

The story was a fairly good read with a lot of discussions. The family situation was another thing entirely. See what you think. -
Some Women Can't Take No!
J. Dominique your allowed your characters show how some women respond when they think they are the only one or want to be the head woman. Men like Mafioso tend to take their ride or die woman for granted and began to cheat just because it's available. They will use the love you have for them again and again until there's nothing left inside of them for you. Melanie was Mafioso woman until he disrespected her for the last time. He didn't take it well because he always thought she would be there for all his mess.
Then you gave me True and he may have been with a few women but he was single and he didn't give anybody false hope. True and his brother Real had a hard life that he turned around for him and his brother. Giselle was a older woman that was married to Trusts nemesis, her husband tried to destroy True and she thought she would get True to love her if she gave her body to him. True never gave her the thought that it was anything other than sex.
True meets Mel and their friendship causes so much pain for Mafioso only because he didn't want Mel to leave him. Mafioso had so much mess with him that Mel was never going back. I was so glad True and Mel found each other and I would like for Real to have his and Nova's spin off. I think that would be nice and messy. Thanks for a good read -
Best friend
True could r stand that best friend that he so had to say lol! He went and got his best friend and made her leave her date lol! I’m glad they stopped that best friend mess and made it official because I was so for them! From the moment they meet at the pool the night of his party and she feeling all types of ways! To finally meeting again at a album release party and that was it then! Mafioso was a straight coward at heart! You made because she don’t want you because of all the lies and hurt you put her through but then gonna go live like they fighting over you! Boy please ain’t nobody want him but Ariel and she made that clear lol! Who gonna follow someone so far away to see where and what he doing! I wish Tori had told who assaulted her and Ariel would of went to jail but she got it bad at the end because mafioso ain’t nothing but a baby maker literally lol! I would like to see what nova and real gonna do but I would love to see the wedding one day of True and Mel! Great story line and great ending Best friends -
These characters crazy as hell. The only sane characters seemed to be True, Real, Nova and at times Melanie but she definitely had her moments. Markel (Mafioso) was a whole case, both him and Ariel. I can't believe that after all the dirt Markel did, he acted like he has the right to be mad. I was definitely surprised that a female didn't do him in because of the way he treated them. He needed to have several seats. This story was good but I wish there was a little more. The ending with Giselle and her husband was a bit much and it felt as if that was added in there just to give closure to how things turned out with that couple, the same for Markel and Ariel. I wanted and didn't feel that deep connection between Melanie and True. I could believe that they cared for each other but I didn't feel the love. I would however, give other books from this author a try. It wasn't a bad read, it just wasn't the five star read I was hoping it would be.

Mafioso out slangin that community D and got the nerve, sheer AUDACITY to try and get mad...chile boo 🙄 now yes Mel holds a lil blame for wat she put up with, but hooonnneeeyyy wen she was fed up!! Tru was a good look, even though he had his lil slides, Mel neva had to encounter the nonsense. Ni look at Mafioso a big mad goofy cuz he fd up amd mel's heart and mind have moved on and he gotta stay dealin wit big crazy, no monies, and watchin his baby mama boss up 😂😂 u kno wat i wudnt mind hearin from this crew again cuz real & nova gotta showcase them talents in and out the booth 👀 -

This book was everything from beginning until end. There was not one dull moment at all. I love how each character drew me in and instead of me reading it felt like I was right there. I love with authors can do that. That makes the book so much more addictive. I want spoil this book with my review well I'm going to try not to. I was so happy when Melanie grew a backbone and let go of some of her and chose her own happiness instead of being weak her character did work my nerves a couple times in this book. I don't get so called women that fight over dudes the was she embarrassed herself in club. I get if they're coming for your child but not some dude if anything you go for his head. Then there's Vanessa 🙄 I don't like her at all. -
True and Melanie
Mafioso must have thought he was God's gift to women the way he was slinging ding a ling. How he tried to turn the tables when he was caught with his pants down only proves how much of an immature dog a$$ nicca he is. He should have taken his mama's advice. Now he stuck with the side chick turn girlfriend from hell. They deserve each other. I bet Ariel learned not to play with Melanie tho.😂😂 I love True. He and Melanie are perfect for each other. I thought I was gonna die when he popped up on her when she was on her date. I bet he locked her down real quick.💙💙 -

Mafioso was like so many men. Do dirt, get caught, lie, and when forgiven. Start the pattern all over again. Melanie has been through hell dealing with him and his infidelities but the last time was in her face. Mafioso ended up acting like a bitter broad because he couldn't pacify Melanie with his lies anymore. Ariel was Mafioso karma. True was smitten with Melanie but he had his share of drama. Giselle was a stalker. No matter how many times True told her to keep moving. She heard the opposite. True also had his issues with Mafioso bitter ass. -

I loved this book! True was the man. So glad Melanie and True made it official because he really showed her what a real man was all about! Merkel need his butt whooped because of the scandalous ways he was acting toward Melanie when he was the one in the wrong...a lying, cheating man for ya! Would have liked an update on if Real & Nova became official? If True & Melanie ever got married and had baby kids? -

When you find a man that treats you like you're supposed to be treated,nothing else matters. Melanie was a great person in which Mafioso didn't deserve. He had too much drama going on. Ariel was indeed crazy but she found her match. True had a lot going on inside his walls but the right woman came in and changed all that. Real lived up to his name and was very comical. See I love standalone books. Mafioso. Got everything he deserved for being stupid and letting fame go to the wrong head. Melanie oh she showed him she did not need him in a big way. Picking and packing up her and Kamiyah. Her mom wss funny meeting True. True kept it True and moving. Not phased by nothing negative including Giselle. I swear Giselle in all her trifling ways. Loved the storyline !!! I was on the floor on how Manfiso was treating Meliane but babe she had the finally say and happy ending team True and Real All Day . Mafioso thought he was gonna break Melanie down with his antics. Hahaha. She turned it right around and showed him he couldn’t stop her shine. He was further humiliated when she got with a real one named True. Mafioso who?

Ohhb i love me some True i am glad he gave Melanie a try she was a great woman for him not for her stupid baby daddy that all he did was cheat. Im glad she knew her worth it was a long time coming. Giselle was a old piece of work glad she went to jail she was going to be trouble for True.

This was a good read. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Melanie, realized that sometimes love isn't enough as the case, with Mafioso. In comes True and his name fits him, he's to to his business and healing Melanie of her pain. I'd like to see a spin-off with Real and Nova. Great job J. Dominique. -

Mannnn True and Real had me laughing like crazy at their stupid asses. I’m so glad he rescued Melanie from that clown ass Mofiaso because his dumb ass had mommy issues and wasn’t made to be a real man and him and Ariel broke asses deserved each other. This book was straight fire and I hope to read something for Real and Nova. -
Good read
This book was well written. I loved the that it had some drama but it didn't overpower the story. Both the story and the drama balanced each other. I really loved True and Melanie. They didn't let the craziness destroy what they were building in their relationship. I am ready for Real and Nova's story. -
I am relatively new to Ms. Dominque and this book did not disappoint. This was such an awesome standalone. It was packed with DRAMA!!! True was exactly what Melanie needed but they got on my nerves until they made it official. Mafioso was childish and never deserved Melanie. While I enjoyed that this was a standalone, I think Real deserves a spin off story!!!!

Yes to Mel winning. It was a one moment of relaxing complete reading. I will say I enjoyed the pace and how it ended (a true standalone). True was book bae and I enjoyed how real life like the story made him out to be. Mafioso was a HOT mess of a man and never learned from any ot his mistakes, but he got the right one in Aerial...lol.
